1. Hello! New York city

As soon as I arrived here , I knew that an adventurous life had began.

Like I am in New York City, of course life is bound to be thrilling. I had just finished packing my luggage and was preparing to have dinner with Aunt May and River after taking a shower. Aunt May had agreed to let me stay by her luxurious apartment ( which looks fabulous btw ) throughout High-school while I left dad to deal with his business back in Texas. I was so stirred when the news came, I literally stayed up all night imagining what it would be like.

Me in a new city. Me in a new world.

I finally finished dressing up and went downstairs to meet others.

'' Hey nana . you finally joined us!!'' aunt uttered, booming my ears to death from the kitchen. '' hey guys. it's been long '' I responded.

Honestly speaking, it has been a while since I last saw them. Back in Texas , dad only allowed me to have one long spring-break due to some of his so- called "personal reasons" and I could not pick aunt may over grandmother fiona otherwise it would be just wrong ( for me anyways). Grandmother fiona is sweet, kind and loves me to bits, I just felt guilty imagining me betraying my one time ticket against her.

'' so .. are you happy to be here or should we send you back'' River question me sarcastically .

'' Do not be rude'' aunt hissed at her.

Ouch seems like someone is not happy to see me. Can't exactly blame her.

'' yes , I am happy. I can not wait to make new friends, see new york and go to school'' I smiled gently.

'' well.... I have news'' she kept us in suspense...'' I enrolled you into FIA College and they were so happy with your results that they want you to start tomorrow'' she shrieked .

I stood there astonished by her words that I did not hear the shrill ringing on my cell phone . OH . Its dad, I am sure he's calling to check how I'm doing. I excused myself and answered the phone call immediately . After what seemed like hours of talking on the phone ( basically 15 minutes) I returned to the kitchen and ate dinner in silence .

Aunt broke the silence and addressed me more about my application to the school. I was filled with excitement I ended up spending the rest of the evening in my bed unable to sleep .

''I guess this is it'' I thought to myself.

I can not wait to see what lies for me ahead. I giggled.
