System Upgrade

While the system slowly began the upgrade process, Amatsu and Orochimaru continued to practice until the late afternoon when Amatsu was sent home for the day. They left the anbu there in an unconscious state, after putting him under genjutsu so he would think the attack was an illusion.
Amatsu looked at the system to check the upgrade progress.

'Finally! This must have been a huge upgrade' thought Amatsu, but then his face suddenly fell again.
[Installing Upgrade...2%...6%...]
'You have got to be kidding me! I hope this upgrade is worth it' he thought angrily as he went to speak to Granny Mito.
"Oh Amatsu dear, how was the training?" Mito asked with a gentle smile.
"It was great! I got to spend time and learn from Big Bro Orochimaru! He is really smart and knows all the jutsu in the world!" said Amatsu innocently with a huge smile on his face. There was no chance in hell he was gonna tell her that Orochimaru was now his subordinate.
For a moment he saw a slight frown on her face. He could only assume she does not have a good opinion of him, well he can be a little creepy.
Mito was smiling again and asked "Well, what did he teach you? And weren't you supposed to learn from Hiruz...The Hokage?" There was a slight irritation in her voice.
"He was busy so he pawned me off onto his other disciples. Big Sis Tsunade, Big Bro Orochimaru, and a guy named Jiraiya. They let me choose and since he was the one I was told to speak to about ninjutsu theories and we both have really pale skin, I chose him." explained Amatsu. He really wanted to throw a dig in at Hiruzen.
He continued "He taught me about substitution jutsu, transformation jutsu, clone jutsu, and a bunch of other E and D Rank jutsu."
"Well it's good you got to learn somethings today. Make sure you wash up for dinner Kushina will be home soon." Mito said.
When Kushina got home they sat down and ate dinner. They talked about how her day was. She was surprised to learn that Amatsu has already learned the different jutsu that they were learning in the academy. This made her feel multiple feelings. On one hand she was glad her little brother was succeeding and was so talented, but she was also a little confused since he has already succeeded in what has taken her over a year to learn.
She smiled and said "Good job little Matsu! I am proud to have a cute and talented little brother like you!" as she got up and hugged him tightly.
After dinner Amatsu went to his room and checked the system again.

'Wow, this is taking for ever! Must be a bad wifi connect' Amatsu thought to himself with a slight snicker at his joke.
~ Amatsu, can you hear me?~ said a slithery voice in his head.
Amatsu knew immediately that it was Orochimaru using the communication seal.
~ What do you need Orochimaru?~ responded Amatsu.
~ I have been in contact with Danzo. I found out he has started to put some of his plans in place. He has leaked information about Konoha and some allies to various enemies. He has also started his plans for starting war. I am not sure how far along his plans are or how much information has been released and about which allies though.~ explained Orochimaru.
~Hmmm, good work. Keep an ear out for more information. Also try to gather talents from around the world if you are out and about. Ideally kids that we can train. I plan to create several forces in the future. Oh and have you decided on if you want to be Hokage yet?~ said Amatsu.
~ Whatever you say, are there any conditions for the kids? And you seem more interested in me being Hokage than even when I wanted to be.~ thought Orochimaru.
~Nah, I have faith in your insights. And I think you deserve it, so I will make the decision for you.~ thought Amatsu with a smile on his face.
~ Whatever~ thought Orochimaru as he just stopped communicating.
Amatsu looked at the system screen again with an excited face.

Amatsu was excited to see the new parts and the new information, so he opened up the Followers Screen.

This percentage astonished Amatsu. Knowing Orochimaru's attitude and personality, he expected a much lower percentage. But he is happy with this percentage and will think of ways to increase it.
Next he had to check out the Soul Shop. He could kind of guess what kind shop it was.
[Soul Shop: In this shop the host can use the souls that have been harvested. You can also convert souls into skill points. The amount differs depending on the souls. The shop will give a few suggested items for purchase based off of the known plans of the host, but if there is something in particular you are searching for you can search for it.]

As Amatsu looked at the new feature of the Soul Shop he was getting excited. He was especially excited about the amount of points he could get for the souls. While he does not have them yet, war is coming soon and he should be able to harvest a lot if he hangs around the hospital, since there is no way he would be allowed on the battle field.
