Genjutsu

With the remaining time he had before his first training session with Fukaku, Amatsu continued to wonder around Konoha. He would hear a pretty consistent ding coming from his system. It was the same ding over and over again.

He has collected quite a few souls today, and it is all thanks to his new fuinjutsu that he placed in the center of the hospital. He called it 'Soul Sucking Seal.' It does not have the largest range, but having it in a hospital and if he can get it on to the battlefield of the upcoming war he could rake in a ton of souls.

~Hey Orochimaru, in a week stop by so I can give you another seal for on the battlefield. Got to go, I have a lesson now~ Amatsu reached out to Orochimaru and ended it just as quickly as it began.

When he arrived at the Uchiha Compound, he was lead to a training field where Fugaku was standing. He was looking at Amatsu as he walked up, suddenly Amatsu felt an odd tingling feeling in his head and for a second he felt like he could not move his body.

Amatsu looked up, his body clearly had settled that genjutsu that was placed on him just now. As he looked at Fugaku, he decided to give him a taste of his own medicine at 120%. He looked at Fugaku and molded chakra and used the genjutsu.

Fugaku suddenly felt that himself lose control of his body and he could not move it. Being well versed in genjutsu he new what was happening and dispelled the genjutsu almost immediately. He looked at Amatsu with a complicated look. 'Did this kid really just use the same genjutsu as I used on him? And it seemed more powerful that what I used, he must have already learned some genjutsu before this.' He thought to himself.

"Good it looks like you have studied up on genjutsu already, so this will save me lots of explaining." Fugaku said while nodding at Amatsu.

Amatsu looked a little confused for a moment before realizing what he meant "Actually, I have never studied genjutsu before. I have a general idea about it, but that is about it."

Fugaku was now confused, since he knew for a fact that he just had a genjutsu used on him. "If you had never learned before how did you just use a genjutsu on me when you walked up.?"

"Well, I felt my mind get tingly and my body began to freeze up, so I figured that was a test. I just tried to replicate the feeling I had and directed it towards you." Amatsu said with an innocent look in his eyes. He wasn't exactly lying, but it wasn't exactly fully true.

Fugaku was astonished. 'How is this even possible? I understand learning quickly after all the Uchiha's have had many geniuses over the generations. But this is not on the level of genius, he is a monster. If he is even half as good as that with the other techniques, he might make for a good ally for the us.' as he thought to himself, he looked at Amatsu and smiled before speaking again.

"Well, if that is the case then you have a great future with genjutsu. So, let us get into the lesson. Genjutsu, is where you control the chakra of the targets cerebral nervous system, affecting the five senses. This creates false images to trick the mind of the target to believe it is experiencing pain. It can be employed in a variety of ways as long as it affects the senses. Sight, sound, touch, smell, and even taste can be used to inflict the genjutsu. For instance us Uchiha typically just use our Sharingan to induce our genjutsu." he paused for a moment to make sure Amatsu was listening.

Amatsu looked at him and said "So, basically as long as you can affect someone's sense, the method really doesn't matter."

"True, now most people do not use genjutsu during actual combat, since it requires precise chakra control and concentration. But, if you can employ it during combat even if it only works for a second, that second could be all it takes to kill your enemy. Now let's practice." explained Fugaku.

After the explanations Fugaku continued to use different genjutsu and Amatsu would follow suit. Fugaku was very impressed by the learning ability he had. As the afternoon passed he was still thinking about Amatsu's question earlier in the day and finally decided to ask him why he asked that.

"Amatsu, why did you ask that question about the Hokage earlier?"

Amatsu looked at Fugaku and said "Well, simply I think your opinion matters. As one of the founding clans of Konoha and one of the biggest clans currently, I think your opinion is important tot he future development of Konoha."

Fugaku was unsure what to think even more now than before.

"Well, that and I have someone I would like you to endorse in the next few years. He maybe a little unconventional...and a little creepy at times, but I think with the right council and the right backing, he will turn out to be great for Konoha." Amatsu explained.

Fugaku was confused as to why he is having this conversation with a child. "You are not trying to promote Orochimaru are you?" That was the only guy that was qualified and could be considered creepy he could think of.

Amatsu just smiled and said "Of course. He may not seem like it, but he is a fitting choice. He is just as knowledgeable as the current Hokage when it comes to ninjutsu. He has no grudges against the clans and those with kekkie genkai and in fact thinks that they are fascinating. Like I said he is unconventional, but I know given sometime I can reign him in. Anyways, I am looking to gather up the support of all the clans."

"How, do you think you will get any support from any of the clans. You maybe a part of the Uzumaki Clan, but you are still a child with no achievements. Even if Orochimaru was not how he is, he also does not have enough achievements to actually be qualified for the postion." Fugaku was looking serious at this point.

"Well, I understand that, but I am sure you have seen my potential. It is only a matter of time before I gain some achievements. Plus, I have surpassed Granny Mito in fuinjutsu at this point, I have plenty of seals at my disposal that could be shared with the clans that would like to "support" by candidate. There are other things, but those can only be known to people who support." explained Amatsu. "No need to make a decision yet, I plan to talk to all the clans in the future, just know that you are the first I spoke to about this, even Orochimaru does not know this."

Fugaku decided to put this to the back of his mind for the time being and continued with the lesson until the dinner time, when Amatsu went home.
