CHAPTER 4 A TEAM OF FIVE

[Atha] (another school day, another horrible day, for me to hear the voices, "but i'll form a team" those words keep walking around my head,) /why don't I start searching now!? its 7:58, class starts by 8:30, during break i'll continue to persuade them \ (just as I get up from my seat, a pack of boys come in, and voices sound crazy loud, the voices causes me to fall on my on back, "i hope my skirt isn't open" the words repeats it'self in my head, then i see a hand hovering around me, i'm still stunned by the noise, but i try to gather up my strength, i take the hand i stand up, clean my skirt until something passes by my head, /i didn't hear the voices from this person\ (i immediately, forcefully raise my head meeting)

[???] um hello

[Atha] hi,..thank you.. i'm Atha Kobayashi, 16 years, what about you? (she wears an orange beanie with a bright green colored scarf and an ash colored turtleneck sweater on top her uniform) /she must be pretty cold\ you look new

[Kim-sun-hua] i-i am Kim-sun-hua, age 15,

[Atha] Kim-sun-hua? are you Korean?

[Kim-sun-hua] yes

[Atha] cool! {speaking in Korean} hello nice to meet you

[Kim-sun-hua] {speaking in Korean} you speak beautifully, do you know how to speak Korean?

[Atha] {speaking in Korean} just a little

[Kim-sun-hua] {speaking in Korean} does that mean i don't have to speak Japanese to you all the time?

[Atha] what?

[Kim-sun-hua] never mind

[Atha] Kim-sun-hua, let's take a seat

they sit down

[Atha] hey, Kim-sun-hua,

[Kim-sun-hua] yes?

[Atha] if you don't mind me asking, are you christian?

[Kim-sun-hua] yes

[Atha] /I'VE HIT THE JACKPOT!!!! all i have to do is befriend her then tell her my mission\ (before i knew it, the words just pours out of mouth with speed) i need to make a team of five christians to join me on this crazy adventure that needs to travel all parts of Japan because Satan wants to draw a huge pentagram all over Japan and we need to save it from sin before its too late so are you joining?

[Kim-sun-hua] i didn't get any of that

[Atha] auuuurrrgggghhhh!! i wasn't supposed to tell you yet

she slams her hand on the desk

[Kim-sun-hua] oh! is it a fun club of christians? i heard Japan likes clubs, sure, i'll join your club!

[Atha] /she thinks its a club.. is that a good thing? or a bad thing?\ yeah... my club.. and i need 3 more people, so will you help me find some?

[Kim-sun-hua] no problem,

[Atha] it just turned 8:30, class will start soon, that means you'll be introduced to the class soon

[Kim-sun-hua] is that the teacher?

[Random student] CLASS STAND!!! CLASS GREAT!!!!

[All the students] Good morning sir!

[Teacher] good morning students, sit down, sit down

They all sit

[Teacher] so most of you.. most of you know me.. you know what? say my name

[All the students] SIR HIRAYAMA

[Hirayama] that's right, but today, we have a new student, from a different country, please step out, and come to the front of the class

the students look around trying to find the student, then Kim-Sun-Hua steps out and stands in front of the class

[Hirayama] this is ou-

Leeken walks out of the door and spots the teacher, he stands still

[Leeken] please can i come in?

[Hirayama] this is not like you Leeken, why'd you come to school late?

[Leeken] ...........something...happened.....i'm sorry....

[Hirayama] ....go to your seat..

he walks to his seat, next to Atha, with a grim look, and Atha's worried about him

[Atha] are you okay Leeken?

[Leeken] Mind your own business, and leave me alone for once

Kim-sun-hua walks back to her seat

[Atha] (its been 3 hours since he said those words to me.. i still feel like My soul just left my body with the words he spoke) /i've never seen him so.... upset... is he alright?\ (I stretch my arms trying to hold his arm, i stop half way because of lack of courage. I fold my fist and hold my pen, suddenly i see dark shadow, a silhouette, standing outside our window) /how is there a dark silhouette standing outside when the sun shines to bright (I remember the words said by pastor Rick "you'll start seeing......*Demonds*" immediately the words come to my head. i see the razor sharp spiky teeth filed with blood, sweat pours from my face, before i knew, a blink which took 1 second, the demons face in front of mine)

Atha shouts and gets up with force which accidentally knocks out Leekens pen. She walks backwards, trips on somebodies desk and falls on the ground.

[Hirayama] ATHA!!!!

Atha sits on the floor as fear surrounds her eyes, pointing invisibility cause only her can see the demond

[Atha] LEAVE ME ALONE!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT FROM ME!!!!!!

Hirayama throws a huge chalk stick on her head which causes her to fall. Immediately, they ring the bell, the teacher leaves the class. The demon disappears. Atha gets up as the entire class laughs at her, except Leeken. She runs out the door putting her hand on her eyes crying while she bumps into somebody, she removes her hand seeing the demon standing, staring at each other while Atha dies of fear and is speechless. There are two girls walking passing Atha.

[Girl No.1] Why do we have such a freaky classmate?

[Girl No.2] Tell me about it, like she's just there..staring at nothing.. what a freak,

[Girl No.1] did you see her performance just now?

[All laugh] Hahahahahahahaha!!

[Demon] their talking about you... don't you want to get revenge? kill her?

[Atha] GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!!

The demons disappears when Leeken walks up to her

[Leeken] something is wrong and you don't want to tell me.

[Atha] ..............it's nothing

[Leeken] then i guess your just seeking attention .. hm?

[Atha] What?! No! of course not!

[Leeken] but you told me you don't have a problem, himp! I guess you never grew up since kindergarten, always seeking attention like a monster....

He walks out on her, cold, a girl comes to stop Leeken

[???] hey Leeken, how you doing?

[Leeken] oh! Hey Tsuki!

he carries her and lifts her up while spinning, then puts her down

[Leeken] haven't seen you in a while

[Tsuki] i haven so much to tell you Let's go to the cafeteria

[Leeken] sure!

she holds he's hand then they walk. Atha runs to the cafeteria, and she's there, she looks outside the door and sees that Leeken and Tsuki are almost here, she goes to her relaxing place, the cupboard, then hooks it from the inside, there's a tiny window which she is seeing from

[Leeken] yeah Tsuki, go on i'll catch up with you later

[Tsuki] okay, don't keep me waiting

Her eyes turn dark red and she makes an evil smile.

[Leeken] Atha get out of there! I know your in the cupboard.. you locked it didn't you?... i'll open it myself then!!

Leeken bends down trying to open the door, but its locked.

[Leeken] i have an idea

Leeken seeks the cafeteria ladies attention

[Leeken] please help me madam! quick! my friends stuck in the cupboard!

The lady brings out a key and unlocks the cupboard, then leaves

[Leeken] thank you madam!

He opens the door and sees Atha, pushing her knees to her chest and folding her arms around her legs, while putting her face on them

[Leeken] why are you such a baby? come on grab my hand!

She shakes her head

[Atha] *i'm hiding*

[Leeken] from what? me? okay, look, i didn't mean those things i said, okay? i was just upset, your my friend..thats why i expect you to tell me what's going on with you.. your acting freaky! who or what are you hiding from?

she raises up her head staring into his eyes as he does the same, she grabs his hand, he pulls her out, and they both stand.

Atha and Leeken walk to a table, to sit

[Leeken] why did we have to go so far from other people?

[Kim-Sun-hua] Atha!! i'm sorry i'm late

she grabs a chair to sit

[Atha] it's been 3 months since we discussed this Kim-Sun-hua, i need 2 more people.. i have a secret... i... hear... voices.... from people..

[Kim-Sun-hua, Leeken] What?!?!

[Kim-Sun-hua] i do not understand

[Atha] i'm sorry for lying to you... its not a club... its a mission.... for God..... Listen i know it sounds cringe, but please just listen

After all the explanation, Atha calls off the meeting so they could enjoy they're break, as they get up, Leeken grabs Atha's arm, Kim-Sun-hua turns, checking if everything is alright. Lekeen makes a gesture telling Kim-Sun-hua to go on. She walks away, leaving Leeken and Atha alone.

[Atha] /we are... we're all alone! together\ (I blush, then try to hide my face, he drags me by the arm so close to his face the thought runs through my head) /is he going to ki...kiss me?\ (I look at his face noticing his worried disturbed face) what's wrong Leeken?

[Leeken] what's wrong? i'm supposed to be the one asking you that question!

[Atha] what do you mean?

[Leeken look.. you always like writing stories about things like this, but right now.. we're better and older than then.. why are you fooling people?

Atha forcefully let's go of his hand with anger

[Atha] you know... if you didn't want to join, you could've just said so instead of insulting me, do i look like a conartist?

i'm not fooling.. anybody!!

he puts his hands on her shoulder

[Leeken] i wasn't insulting anybody, Atha.. and i didn't call you a con artists, i just don't want you to get in trouble.. listen.. i know i'm not supposed to say this to someone like you but.... God isn't real, he's just a thing people made up just to worship! just like Indians and there monkey gods, or chinese that worship ancestors. None of them are real.

Atha pushes his hands off her shoulder with an unbelievable force causing him to fall

[Atha] Like i said.. IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO JOIN YOU COULD'VE JUST SAID SO!! you just sit down, shut up, and leave me alone! i'm going to save the world from sin, from people like you who don't believe in God! i'm going to give this world freedom, i'm going to save the world.. me and Kim-Sun-hua, you know what? i'll just find someone else to replace you. himp, and i thought you were my friend, i'm trying to save you. *how come i don't hear voices from him?*

She walks out, leaving him stunned

Short while Atha hears the voices while there in class

[Mrs Inatago] our exams are in 2 days

[All the students, except Atha] Aww men! No.. 2 days? no, why?

[Atha] /hmm.. 2 days huh?\ {silent gasp}

She thinks back to when she and Leeyen went to visit Pastor Rick

[Atha] but how can i? i have school

[Rick] you'll understand soon

Her memories Ends

[Atha] /i'm so stupid! how did i not realize it?\

[Mrs Inatago] so i'll leave you to do your thing, if you want to read, read, if you want to play, play, do anything you like, its your exams

she shuts the door and the entire class shouts with joy, Atha turns away from Leeken as he tries to talk to her.

[Atha] /She said we could do anything\

She gets up walking to Kim-Sun-hua, but smells cigarettes and hears voices, suddenly she falls on the floor. A boy walks up to a girl, carries her, then pushes her on the desk rubbing her legs as they kiss, Atha carries her bag and runs from that class as Kim-Sun-hua follows

[Kim-Sun-hua] Atha! Atha! wait up!!

as Kim-Sun-hua runs she falls on the floor catching Atha's attention, after Atha sees Kim-Sun-hua on the floor she runs to her

[Atha] Kim-Sun-hua!!

Atha puts her head on her lap

[Atha] Kim-Sun-hua.. are you alright? why are you so sweaty?

[Kim-Sun-hua] Its my... {Heavy breathing} my...my heart {Heavy breathing} I... i can't run..

[Atha] oh i'm sorry, what were you doing anyway?

[Kim-Sun-hua] i was looking for you.... {Heavy breathing} maybe we could talk about the... thing you talking about..

[Leeken] sounds great!

[Atha Kim-Sun-hua] Leeken?

[Atha] Kim-Sun-hua i need to talk to him

She walks closer to him but can't look him in the eye

[Atha] i-

[Leeken] Listen.. i know i said alot of stupid things.. and i know i'm stupid.. but you did say you were going to save the world from people like me.. so i guess i'll be your first client.. i'm sorry for insulting you.. your my friend.. i'm supposed to support you, not discourage.

[Atha] does that mean your coming back to the team?

He strokes her hair as their eyes lock

[Leeken] of course.. so can you forgive me?

[Atha] /how i'm i supposed to stay mad at that!? He's so cute, pretty, and beautiful\ fine! i forgive you. Now let's find a place that's far from people and quite to talk.

Atha is home and tired, while she drops her bag on the sofa, she sees Leeyen blushing with a woman

[???] is this the Atha you were talking about?

[Leeyen] why are you just standing there? you look like you've seen a devil hahahaha.. come on sit down

[Atha] /just when i thought i could get some peace and quite.. this one is different, it feels like she's the one making the noise\
