From the future

Layla was going mad at how Kaylee was laughing with Dela. She had drunk all the water she was having due to the hotness she was experiencing in her body.

  " Hey, girl take your time ..mm you need to be cool she is only trying to be a friend". Hosea said and Collins smiled.

" Friends my foot!". Layla said.

" You are looking like a baby who is jealous of her big sister's dress". Collins said and they laughed silently trying not to catch their attention.

"  I am not jealous..I'm just annoyed about how she is smiling at him and he is also smiling at her ". She said and drank the last water in her cup.

  " Hmm.. that is what we call jealousy if you don't know". Hosea stepped in.

Layla turned and looked at Collins.

   " Dear Collins, I will be glad if you returned to the Collins I came to meet. The Collins who doesn't talk a lot . just for now". Layla said and Hosea laughed in her head as she looked at her sister's face.

" Okay, jealous babe". Collins teased.

Layla frowned and her frown deepened whenever Kaylee compliment Dela and he smiled.

  ( Why is he behaving like this towards another girl?). She thought and Hosea tapped her.

  " Because he is trying to associate with people". She teased and Layla slapped her hands away from her back.

" Okay, can I get your contact please?". Kaylee said.  Layla's eyes widened. Dela was about to talk when suddenly they heard the sound of something breaking. Layla as broke the glass cup she just finished drinking water out of it. Hosea and Collins couldn't hold back their laughter as they burst into laughter when they saw Layla's reaction.

  " Layla! Are you alright?". Dele said jumping from his seat. He rushed to her and held her hands but there was nothing in her hands, she wasn't hurt.

  " I'm fine, I'm alright I was just playing with the glass and it fell". She lied and shoot Kaylee a deadly look. Dela smiled at her and returned to his seat.

  " So, the number as I was asking?". Kaylee took her eyes away from Layla and requested the number which nearly made someone's daughter went mad.

" Oh yeah". Dela smiled and took her phone.

   ( Don't give it to her! don't give it to her! or else my sister will kill you!). Hosea kept repeating these words in his mind but it seems Dela couldn't hear her for he had already given her his number.

  " Thanks, I will try to call you this evening". She said and stood up.

  " It was nice meeting you today ". She said and Dela smiled then returned her words.

  " Nice meeting you too". He said.

" Same to you guys, Hosea, Collins, and..la . Layla". She was even scared of mentioning her name. Layla scoffed and looked away.

" It was nice meeting you too, Kaylee, and thanks for the meals". Hosea said and smiled back while Collins only shook his head and laughed.

" See you guys in class". Kaylee said and walked away.

  Dela smiled and returned to look at Layla who was busily playing with her food.

  " What is wrong with her?". He whispered to Hosea and Collins.

  " I think she is just having a bad day..I guess". Collins lied for Hosea wasn't supposed to lie to the person she was guarding. She only looked at Collins and he winked at her, telling her to be calm. He didn't want to tell Dela that Layla was doing all that because she was jealous.

  " Are you sure? For Layla I know is a cool person, she doesn't let things get her sad easily and she is always in the mood". Dela said and looked at Layla whose head was still hung low.

"We don't know why. Maybe we should excuse you two". Hosea said and tapped Collins's hands to let them go.

  " Oh, Yeah see you in class". Collins said and they went away.

  Dela moved closer to her and sat beside her.

" Layla". He called.

  " Mmm". She answered without looking at him.

Dela looked around a little before he looked back at her.

  "You look nervous, why are you mad at me?". He asked and Layla looked at him.

Layla was about to get up when Dela held her hands and she sat back. Immediately his hands touch hers she became calm and was eager to talk to him that instant.

" Why would I be mad at you? What did you do wrong?". She asked instead of answering his question.

  " Maybe..you are mad at me because I was talking to Kaylee. I was only trying to befriend you know. I sense no danger on her and I think it would be good to befriend her. If that was the reason why you are sad. then I'm sorry ". Dela explained himself and Layla sighed.

" Are you telling me you were just being friends with her when you have promised to love me only?". Layla said.

  " Yes of course I was only being friends with her. My love for you won't lie.. besides you can read my thoughts. I was only being friends with her what again were you thinking of?". He asked and Layla coughed.

  " Nothing. Just finish your food up". Layla said and stretched her hands to take the cup of water which she had forgotten that she had broke it.

  " Have you finished yours..you are not done with yours and you are pressuring me to eat mine". Dela said and looked at her.

  " You see what your angry cost? You ended up breaking the glass of water and you are here looking for it". He scolded her.

  " It wasn't intentional". She defended herself.

" Are you sure?". Dela gave her a knowing look.

  " Don't worry I will go get myself a new glass of water". She said and then walked to get the water. Dela chuckled.

  " Hmm..she is too beautiful". He said and continue eating.

   " Hello, Dela". Lily said and sat beside him. She thought he was eating alone so she got the chance to talk to him as she liked.

" Hey, Lily how have you been". Dela asked and looked up at her.

" I have been fine ".  She answered and didn't even bother to ask where the rest are. For she doesn't want to see them with him.

" Have you eaten already or you will like to eat with me?". He asked.

  " No need I'm okay ". She answered and smiled.

" I was wondering if we can go get ice cream together after school. Only me and you. What do you think?".  Lily asked.

" Aww! I will love to..but I have already asked my guys to let us have some ice cream after school together . Wait, why not come with us?". She asked and beamed.

" Don't worry, you can go with them maybe next time ". She said and Layla arrived and sat down.

  " Hi, Layla". Lily smiled to ease the tension.

" Hi". Layla said and drank the water she brought and then put it on the table and begin to eat her food without paying any attention to them. She had already read Dela's mind and knows what they have been talking about..so she doesn't need to ask them.  He knew why she was there and she was determined to show the vampire that she doesn't like her a bit.

" I'll be going now". Lily said and stood up and went away.

" Know need to tell me why she was here I already know ". Layla said when Dela was about to tell her what Lily came there to do.

  " Did you read my mind?". He asked.

" Well". She trailed off and looked up only to meet his glare.  " Don't look at me like that, gosh! Is scary". She said.

  " I'm only quite waiting for the day I would be able to read both of you your minds. I will intentionally make sure you feel how it pains when someone just breaks through your privacy". He said and Layla laughed.

" I want that day to come". Layla said. That will be the day he will propose to her to be his Queen in his kingdom. The thought of it only makes his heartbeat increase.

  Jonie rushed to them at the cafeteria panting like an angry dog.

  " What is it?". Layla asked when she saw him coming in their direction.

  " Hmm..I..I..saw..the future..is .. horrific terrific.. and scaring". He said and fell into the chair next to where Layla stood.

  "What do you mean by the future is scaring?". Dela said and Layla pushed her food away.

"When I went to the future, I saw the great battle between the Archer Angels and the vampirs together with the demons. I mean the legend of you guys ". He said Layla handed him her half glass of water. He drank it in one shot.

  "What was it like?". Layla asked.

"Hmm. I saw the two supernatural beings which consist of the vampires, witches and the demons..they were together and were drowning the kingdom of pure magic powers down. Hosea was struck with a sword and blood was oozing from her nostril while you, Layla. You tried all you could but couldn't stop any of them. They multiply 10 times one person we kill. It wasn't an easy show at all". Jonie said and exhaled.

  "So what are we going to do?" Layla asked in a panicked way.

  "I think we just need to train up ..we need to train our powers efficiently ". Dela said and looked around.

  "We need to tell Aunt Maggie and the rest about it. They need to know". Layla suggested.

  "Yes, also like what Dela said we should train up fast, the time is up..I didn't even go to the next year I just went to this three months ahead of us which is November 5th your birthday Layla ". Jonie said and they all gasped.

  "What!!". The yelled.

"Yes, it was in November.". Jonie said.

  Layla and Dela just lost their appetite that instant.

  "But I found something ". Jonie said and brought out a little tiny glass bottle.

  "While I was hiding behind a tree and was watching what was happening, a beautiful yellow bird brought this to me and it also came with a letter". He said and handed it to them. Dela took it and went through it.

"By the saying of these words?". Dela said pointing at the greek words on the paper.

  "What does it says?". Jonie asked.

"Let me see". Layla took it and when she read it, she gasped and a wicked smile appeared on her lips.

  "What does it say?". Dela asked.

"It says that if we see that we can't fight them anymore, we should come together and add up our powers together then they will all be drawn into this small bottle". Layla said and then gasped.

" Really?". they both said.

" Yeah, that is what it says". Layla replied and their face beamed.

"These people should watch out for us". Dela said and they nodded their heads.
