Gloomy Sky Hidden God

The first star that passed away extinguished two thousand years ago.
Four hundred years later, the mysterious Calamity of Heavenly Fall destroyed the civilization of the previous era, returning thriving cultures to ignorance.
Since then, stars gradually vanished, the Firmament grew dark and dim, and a new civilization rose from the starless wilderness, flourishing once more.

One thousand six hundred years after the Calamity of Heavenly Fall, a young child awakened memories of his past life.
He wanted to break the Cage, to throw off the shackles.
He wanted to become a star.

Ian's alertness had reached its peak, though he appeared to be still snacking on supper, all his focus was on this matter.


After finishing his meal, Ian excused himself to get some fresh air on the rooftop, which Yisen Gard found nothing odd about.


Atop the roof, Ian closed his eyes. He took a deep breath to concentrate his mental strength and Spirit Energy... then, with his eyes open, he surveyed the entire district.


Instantly, the peaceful and quiet streets, the buildings with dim lights or already darkened, and the people within faded into a mist.


The misty figures, whether conversing with family and friends or already in bed, displayed different patterns and directions of mist that signified varying meanings. Their fates and the near future unfolded before Ian's eyes.
