Chapter 18 Anomalies of the Book of Silver Radiance

"A monster? Then why didn't I see it?"

As he spoke, Ian turned his head to look behind him—the other side of the floor-to-ceiling window was the deep, black heart of Leyan Lake.

Under the glow of the setting sun, the edge of this meteorite lake reflected the intermingling radiance of the sun's purplish-red light, making it appear extraordinarily splendid.

To the north of Leyan City lay Leyan Lake, and to the west, it led directly into the depths of the Bison Mountain Range; on the other two sides, the Radiant Flower Sea spread out, but now, as the seasons progressed deep into autumn and with the scourge of the Mountain People, the flower sea was mostly hidden from sight.

The ancient castle was built on the top of a high cliff by the lake, giving a perpetual view of the beauty of Leyan Lake.
