A war of words ensued, but ultimately it ended in vain. The psychological expectations of both sides were too disparate, and even though concessions were made, the negotiation still reached a stalemate.

According to the customs of the Continent of Aslante, when issues couldn't be resolved at the negotiation table they would usually settle it with a fight.

The Alien Coalition hoped to force the tripartite nations into submission through military force, and the three nations also sought to resist with military means in order to fight for their interests.

The initial contact ended on a sour note, pushing the situation in the Central Continent towards a climax, and the war became increasingly fierce.

The changing international situation had yet to affect the Kingdom of Alpha. It wasn't that the kingdom's upper echelons were oblivious to the deteriorating situation in the Central Continent, but they were truly beyond their ability to influence.
