Carl let out a screeching, "Oh, crap!"
" I thought you came to this place to fight me? " Arne inquired as he walked passed Carl and afterwards occupied the seat he had vacated.
Arne is blind, but he is familiar with every inch of his home; he leaned back in his chair and relaxed as Carl stared at him in annoyance.
Carl confronted him with the question, "You know about it all this long, why did you remain quiet?"
Arne told you, "Your father, Erik, is worrying about things that are not significant; no one seeks for riches in a burning home."
Again, Carl questions what it is that you are talking about: "burning house?, treasures?, what are you talking about?"
Arne is being peppered with questions by Carl.
Arne's response is, "The war that your father wants to go on is a tough one, and he has to clean the inside," and he continues, "he needs to clear the inside."
Still avoiding answering Carl's question directly, the more he speaks, the more perplexed Carl becomes.
"What really is within, and who exactly is inside?" Carl asks again
Arne cautioned me, saying, "You have a connection with the eagle; don't sever it."
Carl keeps asking questions, and Arne keeps answering indirectly. Now that they're talking about the eagle, Carl remembers the eagle that was looking at him early in the morning before he left for haunting. Arne has been answering Carl's questions indirectly the entire time. Carl is now irate since Arne did not provide him with answers that were straightforward to the questions that he had asked. He finally got fed up and stormed out of Arne's home.
Arne yelled to Carl, " be cautious, they are still coming," in order to forewarn him of the Easterners.
Carl came to a halt, and when Arne stated something that was relevant to the reason he had come, he considered coming back to Arne to ask additional questions; but, he was already frustrated, so he started walking home instead. When Erik had finished eating, he went to Carl's house to find out why Carl had left in such a bad mood. When he arrived at Carl's house, he was unable to locate Carl, so he called his name while standing in front of Carl's house.
" Carl! Carl!! Carl!!! " Erik let out a yell.
After that, he went to see Arne for advice. As he was walking to Arne's house, he saw Carl coming out of Arne's home; Carl's face was very serious, which indicates that he isn't happy.
"Son, I have been searching everywhere for you!" Erik says
Carl said, "We have a greater issue, more than the England raid, you just care about the England raid, not worried about your people of Vikings," as he pointed out that the England raid was not their primary worry.
Erik asked Carl, "What are you talking about?" as he was perplexed and unsure of what exactly Carl was talking about or where he was going to. "What are you talking about?"
"The Easterners are plotting an assault on us on the last day of the war, which will also be the coronation of the new war commander." Carl opens up
Erik said, "That is not accurate, the Easterners were cleared some years ago, and it is evident that they have nothing."
They were populated but they were having an internal war within themselves which led to the separation of many going far away to build a home for them selves and a new government, they had split into five place, all known as the Easterners, years after, the Vikings rounds out one of the Easterners village, they saw many gold, they were interested in the land and the golds, the Vikings gathereded. The Easterners were blessed with many treasures such as gold, silver, and many more. The Easterners
After ten years, the other Easterners who found out that one of their settlements had been destroyed and no soul was kept alive had to gather to fight whoever it was that had destroyed their kind. They had made some researches looking and seeking for the people behind the attack, and eventually got an answer from a soothsayer telling them how the Vikings had attacked the settlements and taken away their gold and crops with animals. They had sworn to wipe out the Vikings, and the Eskimos did just that
Arne had told Erik and Carl the tale, and they had both returned to Arne to inquire more about what had happened to them.
Erik expressed his confusion by asking, "So these Easterners have been on existence after the attack?"
"Yes, the Vikings were only able to demolish one of their towns, and it was one of the least secure of the five; the other settlements posed a greater threat." Arne continued to elaborate on his tale when he spoke to Erik.
Again, Erik questioned his friend, "Why didn't you say something after the ambush, a long time ago?"
"After the ambush on the Easterners, your father passed away two years after you were made the king. I tried to tell you that the Easterners are still remaining but your entire focus was to raid on England, and you never let me tell you about it," Arne said to the king. "After the ambush on the Easterners, your father passed away two years after you were made the king."
Erik was in a very fragile state; now that he is aware that he has things to resolve, he decided to leave the home of Arne with Carl. After that, Carl brought him to the treasonous person.
