Episode 2

The Grieving

The Queen is dead and buried,Aisha could still not believe that her mother was killed ,by her own father

years has passed since her death and her memories forgotten by the people but Aisha still can never forget what her father took away from her, a mother,a friend,a guardian,a Queen . In the spirit of revenge she began practicing swordsmanship to become a good soilder, she trained on her own for years and the more she practiced she got better . She began fighting in tournaments with hefty men who were 3 times he size and height , but none of them were a challenge to her, she always believed that the bigger they are the louder they fall, and so she never felt intimidated by any of them .As time went on she was populary known as the subduer of men .

Her brother's the princes grew envious of her achievement and plotted to have her stop sword fighting .But all attempts was a failure every single time ,the more their plans failed the more agitated they grew ,then they felt they tell their father who was now known as the Old King . When they got to his chamber they got in and found the King enjoying grapes in the arms of women . They bowed and said long live the king .

"what do you want ". The king asked . "we want Aisha to be banned from sword fighting ,her fortunate victory recently in her duels has made her cocky and boastful ,it needs to end father ". The King then sat up on his throne and orderd the women away then he said "Aisha is learning how to handle a sword ?".Yes father she is , and as if that's not enough she rubs he lucky victory on the faces of men , father the law states that no woman should engage in a combat with a man it's a taboo father ,she needs to be grounded and taught a lesson of humility". Is that all ?.The King asked in an unconcerned tone. The Princes replied yes father .

"Bring her to me the King ordered " the guards were sent out to look for Aisha in the whole palace environs and on the outskirts. Finally the saw her on the bay of the palaces beach training .The guards then approached her "His majesty the King summons you to his chamber immediately " she then paused her training and gave them a stern look then she replied." I have no king ,which king do you speak about ?".

The guards replied His majesty the greatest man in the kingdom . Then she replied as she walked towards them abrading her sword ,the guards got scared for they knew she was a powerful swordsman so they moved back as she came close .Then she said "What makes you think that old king is the greatest man in the whole kingdom I doubt it his old almost dead , what does the old man want from me we haven't seen each other for 10years and we are both alive and good , so what does he want ? ". The guards replied"Only His majesty knows why he calls you " Aisha then stepping back towards the beach remembered the incident of her mother and the murderer they called a king . Tears slowly ran down her cheeks . Then she told them "Tell him I am coming ". The guards then left her presence and reported all their conversation to the king and his princes . The king got angry at the insult of him being called weak and old he couldn't wait for her arrival .The whole day passed and she did not come . The next day the King sent the guards to summon her again she got the news and still did not come through out the day .Again he sent 3 times more but she snubbed all the summonings . finally one day while the king was In his court yard at night about to sleep ,then came a subtle voice coming out from the dark side of his room,he took his oil lamp and pointed towards the direction ,! and saw a beautiful woman in a white dress just the Queen had she said "you are weak and frail ,give up the throne ,and make way for a younger and stronger man to rule or woman "Never the king replied then he said "what are you doing in my room ?,you have no right to be here , I will get you punished for trespassing into the sovereigns room . Guards! guards ! he shouted but no one answered . Then the woman in white then said "what do you want them to do ,grab hold of me ? lock me up ? kill me ? then she scoffed at him You are just a weak man who only rely on other weak men to punish women .And for the questions you asked ,she then moved into the lightened part of the room .As the king looked he saw his daughter's face then he said in shock"Aisha ! are you the one making ill comments about me the great king around the kingdom ,then he stood up from his bed and started walking towards her he drew out his sword, but to his surprise ,she did not move an inch in fear or in intimidation . Then he paused and looked at her into her eyes and saw his late wife's stare of anger. Aisha then said "why did you stop you thought I was going to walk backwards in fear ,or quiver at your sword ? .Not in my life will I let a little creature who can't form life called a man make me scared .I came here because you asked for me . What is it you want ? . The king marveled at her confidence ,

walked towards a chair and sat down ,then he said "The princes of the kingdom want you to stop swords fighting ,and that you should be grounded from all duels , tournaments and whatever your involved in ".

She laughed and said "Princes why didn't the so called princes come and speak to me directly or are they scared of what might happen to them "Enough! the King interrupted her and said " You are nothing but a woman and at that not a matured one ,you are just a girl . So stop feeling like you are powerful or talented, A man can bring you to your knees if he so choses ". Alright then! Aisha interrupted the king is you feel all men are more stronger than a woman then let's arrange a tournament , with you presiding over the event. It will be to the death if I win I get to be army general of your soilders and if they win I join my mama ". The King then agreed to this arrangement and told her "Get ready to meet you mama ! Aisha then out of anger drew out her dagger and struck the King's ear . Ah ! he shouted then he reached for a cloth and put it on his ear .Then Aisha said to him "Get ready to bleed" then she left the chamber through the window . The King was shocked at what just happened no man has ever raised a sword to him .Now it was a woman ,he was enraged and plotted to also have her killed one way or the other .

The Tournaments

Trumpets blew as men and women gathered the grand arena for the tournament the arena was in style of the Romans arena . In this arena duels and tournaments have been fought .The floor of the arena was stained with blood of warriors who fought their before . Of course only men were to participate in the tournament

But this year a young and brave girl will be part of the tournament . Aisha was in her room under the arena getting ready .From her room she could hear the trumpets blew for the welcoming of the King and the princes .Then a brief introduction was done by the chairman . Then the king stood up and all the assembly of 242,000 men and women stood up as well . The King said " We all here are gathered to chose for us the first general to lead the Bermudian army ,for years we the Kings have led the soilders to battle but this year , I have decided to select from the strongest of men in the kingdom to fight to the death and the last man standing will become general of the Bermudian army . Let the tournament begin! the King said then he sat and all the people sat . Then the trumpets of battle began playing as . According to the Bermudian custom the winner of the first Tournament or battle has to fight the others, untill he is either defeated or he wins which has never happened in the history of tournaments for one soilder to strick down other soilders and win any privileges or awards . So in a heart of hatred for his own daughter the king put his daughter first in line for the tournament. The ancourman of the event then called out the first battle . First in line is the skull crusher . The door of his room was opened and a tall man 7ft tall came out with a long sword and all the people cheered for his appearance . And on the other side we have the subduer of men ! the whole crowd kept silent , they have never heard the name before as the wondered to themselves , the door of Aisha room was lowered and she came out with 2 nicely crafted sword made from pure gold and silver,and she wore a black robe which covered her face ,so that the people will not recognise her as the princess . The people looked in amazement they said it's a girl ,she can't do it ,she will be killed within the fors 2 sec of the battle . The skull crusher looked at her and laughed then he said "You are not only small you are small ,weak and a girl ,this should be easy ".Then Isha said to the man "I hope you told your family good bye cause your not going back home "

At that the anchorman commanded fight , and they ran at each other within 5 seconds of brief swordplay the skull crusher was down . The whole crowd was shocked at this defeat , but they felt it was beginners luck, she will definitely die before the end of the tournament . But they were wrong the tournament had 20 men in it ,one by one she struck them down and killed all of them . At the body tugging sound of the last warrior in death. she was panting but in that moment the crowd cheered and rejoiced at the happening . The King and the princes were shocked and marveled . Aisha was now the general of the Bermudian army .And the King had nothing to do she won fair and square . The princes then stood up I. anger and left the arena.

Later that night they went to the King
