matchmaker quest 2.0- new world Lucy-slowly healing
suddenly she was somewhere different
it was a forest and walking through it
she felt at peace it was really beautiful
it wasn't anything like she imagined
the voices told her that they were the voices of the trees
and she asked the trees if they could help her
"Yes we can we can help you"
"But how?"
"By being with you, by letting you into our hearts."
"I don't understand."
"Just walk with me and listen to my voice and you will understand everything."
And so she did, as the trees lead her through the forest
listening to their voices and enjoying the peace
she felt as she walked along
she felt as if she were flying, as if she were truly free
the voices guided her through the forest and into a village
She was in a different village
And she bumped into someone
"Oh I'm so sorry, are you all right?"
she looked up and saw a young man with a bow and arrow
and he seemed to be in a hurry
"I'm sorry too, did I hurt you?"
"No no don't worry about it, I'm fine."
"did you need help with love?" she asked
"I-how did you know?" he replied
"let's just say I'm your sweet angel sent from the heavens to help you get the one you love-" she replied
"are you saying that you're cupid?" he replied
"basically- but you can call me Lucy- so what's your name?" she replied
she wanted to add handsome but- it would be awkward and he was pretty gay probably
"Lucas"
"Nice to meet you Lucas"
"It's nice to meet you too"
They talked for a while
and Lucy told him a bit about herself
and Lucas told her a bit about himself and his wish for true love
"I hope that one day I'll find true love" he said
"I wish for that two but I don't think that will ever happen-" she replied
"Why do you say that?" He replied
"Can I ask you something?" She asked
"Sure-" he replied
"Are you gay?" She asked
"What? No! Why would you think that?" he replied
"Well you don't act like any normal boy, you dress strangely-" she replied
"I like to dress well, and the way I like to act is called acting, not acting gay. And I don't think you'd like it if I acted gay either, do you?" he replied
"Nah- but I know you wouldn't chose me would you?" She replied
"I'm afraid not, you're not my type-" he replied
"My type? What is your type?" She replied
"I don't have a type-" He replied
"Seriously pulling a Gared on me?-you have a type and he has a name-" she replied
"Who's Gared? And how do you know that it's a he?"
"You may not believe you're gay- but you are for him-and you can't lie to a angel-" she replied
"I don't know what you're talking about-" He replied
"You know, the thing that you do-the way you walk, the way you talk-"
"You mean like Shakespeare?-"
"Can you just admit it?!"
"No" he replied
"Fine then, I guess you're not the right match for me" she replied
"I'm sorry-" he replied
"If you want my help you have to be honest- can you please just tell me his name?"she replied
"I guess I could-" He replied
"Just tell me his name Lucas"
"Edward" he replied
"Edward?"
"Yes, I do have a type" He replied
"But I thought you didn't-" She replied
"I lied" he replied
"Why would you do that?" She asked
"Because I want you to be happy" he replied
"You sound alot like Gared-" she replied
"So do you like him?" he asked
I do but it's only onesided and he's clearly gay
he has a boyfriend- his name is Drew and they look cute together- so I respect them
"I like you more" she replied
"But you said you didn't like me" he replied
"I never said that" she replied
"Whatever, I'm going home" he replied
"Where is that?" she asked
"On the other side of the forest"
"Oh" she replied and she followed him
there
"I didn't say you could come along-" he replied
"Well you didn't say that I couldn't-" she replied
"I guess you can come along" he said "But if I see you again, I'm going to kill myself"
"Fine then" she replied
She followed him to the other side of the forest and they arrived at a house
"Is he in there?" she asked
"I think so"
"Why is he in your house?" She asked
"Because I gave him a key and he's allowed to come over anytime-" he replied
"And you're not a couple yet?" She replied
"Shut it-"
he replied
"Well I just wanted to make sure" she replied
She knocked on the door and Edward answered
"You came!-" he said "Sorry it's late-"
Lucas replied
"Don't worry about it and who's the girl with you?" He replied
"Lucy-Don't pay any mind to her-" Lucas replied
"Come in"
And she did
"So this is Lucy," he said
"Is she here to hurt me?" He asked
"No she's completely harmless and an idiot-" Lucas replied
"I'm not an idiot- I'm not an idiot!" She said
"Yes you are- that's why I'm letting you stay with me" he replied
"no- this is your house for you and your boyfriend-" she replied
"he's not my boyfriend!" he shouted
"yet!" she shouted, annoyed
"Shhh- calm down, calm down," he said, trying to calm her down "And anyway you're over-reacting" he replied
"I'm not overreacting-this isn't the same as then-unless- did you put a tracking device/bomb inside Edward?" She asked
"What? No! What kind of person would do something like that?!" He shouted
"Gared-" she replied
"Who's this Gared you keep speaking of?" He replied
"He's a guy I know-" She replied
"Who you know and you don't even know his last name?!" He replied
"I didn't say that, I said I knew him!" she shouted
"But you like him?" He replied
"Did- he's taken and two he's gay-" she replied
"I'm gay too!" He shouted
"Yeah, I know, it's a little obvious" she replied
"What do you mean-he's taken?" he replied
"He has a boyfriend his name is Drew- he almost killed him-but he ended up saving him instead- and he loves him" she replied
"I'm not gonna let anything happen to you" he said "I promise"
"Thanks" she replied
"But I still don't see why you didn't tell me," he said
"I didn't think it was that important- and It's always going to be onesided- I only fall for the gay ones-" she replied
"I'm not gay!"
"Yes you are- I'm not going to argue with you-" she replied
you literally said that you were ten seconds ago! 2 minutes but still!
"Fine then, I'm going to bed" he replied
"Fine then,I'm going to sleep" she replied
Then they went to bed
"I'm not letting you sleep alone-" He said
"I'll take the couch-" she replied
She did sleep with Gared in the same bed- but she couldn't do that now and she barely knows Lucas but then again she barely knew Gared- at the time too-
"I'm sorry," He said
"I know you are- but it isn't your fault" she replied
She hated being reminded of him- he was a good friend but
It's really painful for her
She loved him so much
But he didn't feel the same way
And she knows how much they love each other and it saddens her she wanted them to be happy together- but she sacrificed her own happiness
And she knew that she would never have anyone- it's just how fate was for her
But he did love her she could tell
And she did love him
But he couldn't feel the same way
And he did love someone else and he would never love her
It wasn't meant to be and they couldn't be together
And she knows that she will never see him again
And she was happy to never see him again
She didn't know what else to do
She wanted to cry but she didn't want to be that girl
Instead, she stayed strong and did what she had to do
She never said a word
She didn't want to hurt him like that
But it still hurt and she was very angry
Even though it was best for everyone
It still hurt
but she couldn't hold the tears in forever
she began to sob into a pillow
Lucas came from behind her
and rubbed her back
"hey-it's alright-" he replied
"it's not alright Lucas! you don't understand!
how painful it is why did I have to fall for a gay guy?" she replied
"I know but it's not my fault-" he replied
"No it's not but it is and I'm the reason-" she replied
"Shhh please don't say that-" he replied
"I was the one who almost killed him- not Gared- I was the one who activated the bomb- because I was an idiot-" she replied
"It's not your fault-" he said again
"Yes it is-" she said and started sobbing again
"No it isn't-" he said
"Yes it is-" she said sobbing again
"Fine, I'm just going to go to my room" he replied
"Fine!" she shouted and wiped the tears off her face
"But I'm not going to sleep alone- I'm not one of those girls who can sleep alone- I'm scared-" she replied
"I'll stay with you-" he said
"good-" she replied
in the end, he ended up cuddling her and it made her feel happy- but this is all she would get-he couldn't love her the same way
