lucifer-matchmaker quest -1.0- why me?
[ this an alternate universe where this lucy isn't the one we know instead is lucifer
but not lucifer lucifer he's a different one
but he still has his powers and instead of the heavens he comes from hell of course-
his story isn't exactly the same as Lucy's but it's similar- and this isn't important to the story it just for fun- but there's a full story]
"Well, where were you planning on going?" Garci asked
"To this park called "Freedom's Leap" he replied
"What's that?" Garci asked
"It's a really big rock formation" she replied
"Never heard of it" Garci replied
"It's really cool, you should come with us" she replied
"Alright, maybe I will, are you sure you don't mind having me along?" Garci replied
"No, not at all" she replied
"Alright then see you there-" Garci replied
"see you there-" she replied
Garci and Luci were sitting on a bench at a park when Drew and a group of her friends arrive. he tried to hide- but Garci grabbed his arm
"it's alright her friends are here so I can introduce you as a friend-" Garci replied
"are you sure that it's alright? what if they don't like me?-" he replied
"they'll like you I'm sure-" Garci replied
"alright- then- I'll meet them-" he replied
"Hey, what's up?" Drew asks, walking over to them.
"Drew, this is Luci, he's a really close friend of mine" she replied
"Nice to meet you" Drew replied
"Same" he replied
"So, you like this park?" Drew asked
"Yeah, it's really cool" he replied
Drew turns to her friends
all of whom are wearing the uniform of the cheer squad
"This is Gared and Lucy-" she replied
"I'm Kelly this is willow,and Mary-" Kelly replied
"What do you want to do first, climb the rock formation or go for a ride on the swings?" Drew asked
"the swings-" he replied
"alright then-see you later-" Drew replied and joined her friends on the rock formation
Luci went to the swings and Garci joined him
"How come your spending time your with me? This is supposed to be your time to hang out with her" he replied
"Well I didn't want you to feel left out and maybe you could make friends with them-" she replied
"thanks that's really nice of you- but I don't want to hog up all the time you should be spending with her-" he replied
"You aren't hogging up all my time, I'm spending time with you too" she replied
"Yeah, but-" he replied
"No buts about it, I like being with you" she replied
"you do? why?" He replied
"I just do-" she replied
she moved the swing back and forth
"this is fun!" she shouted
seeing a smile on her face
he felt his heart beat- and he felt butterflies in his stomach
he couldn't help but smile
he could truly fall for her-No he already was
-but- he couldn't she didn't belong to him
He would try to enjoy himself and not think about it
As she swung back and forth
He watched her face and it was captivating
Her face was so expressive and he loved looking at her
She looked so happy, and he loved seeing her happy
She stopped swinging and looked up at him
"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked.
"Like what?" he asked back, genuinely confused
"Like you like me" she replied, amused
"I do" he replied
"You don't act like it-" she replied
"Well I-I guess I'm nervous" he replied
she asked.
"Well- um- you're- you're- you're really beautiful and um-" he replied.
"You like me because I'm beautiful?" she asked.
"It's more than that I like your spunkiness and recklessness -
And you're also really nice and you're also really sweet-
I love the way you talk to me and treat me like a friend-
and I can't really find anyone else that treats me like you do And I like being with you-" he replied
"I like being with you too" she replied
"I'm glad- but why did you choose me?-" he replied
"I chose you because I wanted to be with you" she replied
"But why? Why would you want to be with me?- I'm lucifer- the prince of hell- and you're-Human- and I'm more than just human, I'm more than a human can ever be- he replied
"You're not a monster" she replied
"I'm the spawn of Satan" he replied
She laughed
"I believe that you are a child of God, I don't believe that you were the spawn of Satan" she said
"But you're the one who summoned me-" he replied
"even so- you are nothing like I read about-" she replied
"that's because that isn't me- there has been countless lucifers before me-" he replied
"You're not like the other ones- you're different-" she replied.
"I'm not so different" he replied
"You have an heart- you feel- you laugh- you cry- you feel like a human being-" she replied
"I'm more than a human being- I'm something more" he replied.
"Well- maybe- but you're still a human being with a mind of your own" she replied
"Well, I'm more than a human being-" he replied
"Oh, and how are you more than a human being?" she asked
"I have angel blood in me as well a lucifer's power-" he replied
"You're not a devil, you're not an angel- you're a flesh and blood human being that happens to have a little extra- that happens to be good at some things and bad at others-" she replied
"I'm more than just good and bad, I'm both" he replied.
"You're still just a human being" she replied.
"So are you" he replied
She couldn't help but smile
"So are you" she replied, and he smiled as well.
They swung in the swing for a few more minutes as the sun continued to set.
"we should go now- it's getting dark" she said
"alright" he replied. He got off the swing and helped her down. They went to walk back to where their friends were.
"You don't have to stay with me" she replied
"I want to stay with you" he replied
"well then let's go" she replied
They walked back to where they were before
"So how did your date go?" asked one of the other girls
"It wasn't a date! We're just friends!" She shouted
he felt a little heartbroken hearing that but
it was true they were just friends
he wished that they could be more but-
that wasn't possible- the one she loved wasn't him
"Shut up! We were in the dark and you two were talking for hours and hours!" replied the other girl.
"we didn't talk that long-" she replied.
"Whatever. So when are you going to get a boyfriend?"
"Never!" She shouted
"Why not?-" the other girl asked
"What if I don't want one? Why do I have to?" She replied
"You should want one!" the other replied
"Well, I don't. So there"
They walk away in silence
Drew came from behind them
"Hey are you alright?-" She asked
"Yeah, we were just talking" Garci replied
"Well, I um, wanted to um, talk to you" she said, awkwardly.
"What did you wanted to talk about?" Garci asked
"It took me awhile to figure it out but- the girl you like- is me isn't it?-" she replied
"Yeah-" Garci replied
"Do you like me?" she asked.
"Yeah, I do" Garci replied.
"I like you too" she replied.
They continued walking in silence for a bit
"Do you um, want to go on a date with me?" she asked.
"Yeah, I do" Garci replied.
"When?" she asked.
"I don't know- how about Saturday?" Garci replied.
"Yeah, that'll work" she replied
"I'm going to be seeing you" Garci replied
"Yeah, I um, will be seeing you too" she replied
"They continued walking in silence until they got back to her house.
"I'll see you Saturday" she said. "Yeah, I'll see you Saturday" she replied.
Drew waved as she walked away
"Saturday it is then" she said to herself.
"it all worked out in the end huh?" he replied
she jumped "luci! where- did you come from?"
"was following you of course- from a distance-" he replied
"I didn't notice you there-" she said.
"of course not- I blended in with the shadows- the dark hides me well" he replied.
"I'll remember that- I'm glad you um, came along-" she replied.
"I'm glad I came along too" he replied.
"Well good bye now-" she replied
"You're not going to let me in?" He replied
"Why would I do that?-" she replied
" because I thought you wanted me to stay?-" he replied
" I did, but you're not staying-" she replied.
"But I don't have anywhere else to go-" he replied
" You could stay with me!" she replied.
" But I thought you didn't want me?-" he replied.
" That was before I knew you wanted me too"- she replied.
"Well then, I'll stay with you then" he replied.
"Great!" she replied.
