146. Cinderella's Handkerchief

The next day, Abigail drove Clara home. That was the initial plan. Overnight stay at Abigail's house for doing some college homework.

Clara still hadn't shared details about her one-night stand: with a man named Jade. She just went back to Abigail's home last night

and immediately rested.

"Rosie ultimately failed. It seems that the man she is after is too difficult to conquer," said Abigail, opening the conversation. She didn't want to let Clara continue to silence her. "She should find another man if she doesn't want to be disappointed. I was told, last night was the last night before he left for Europe."

Clara just nodded, she was still often pensive, imagining last night's events. No wonder Rosie would justify any means to catch her prey.

"So sad. She must be very disappointed," Clara commented with forced concern.
