RESET (Ch. 72)

Daryun Won sips from his cup of coffee while seated calmly before the behemoth of a man named Kaiser,

"Why exactly do you want to join us?",

"You work for Merchants as a mercanery, let's just say i'll need to fight and improve a lot more if i'm to accomplish my goals" Daryun replies. Kaiser bursts into a fit of babaric laughter,

"I like you kid!, You've already passed the test" he states alluding to the two unconscious examiners piled just behind his chair, "welcome to Mercanery hall!" He declares.

Around him is a sea of bodies layed to waste, a scar runs diagonally from just above his right eyebrow to the space beneath his eyes horizontal to the middle of his nose, blood fountains out the cut as the eye is shut close, fortunately for his identity as a Shifter the injury is sure to heal though the skin will scar, the stench of blood surrounds him, the status of his fallen adversaries bringing no joy, he gazes up to the sky and away from the carnage in contemplation,

(It's still not enough, i'm not strong enough yet, no strong enough to kill all those evil fuckers!) He ponders, his teeth grinding against each other, (Konan will lead the boys, i have to get stronger) he concludes traversing the dark lonely streets of Zagreb, an as he clutches his injuries his mind flashes briefly to his fight with Dennis, (never again!, NEVER AGAIN!!).

Seated on a moving stonehenge weight several tons, Mari sucks lightly on a lolipop while fiddling idly with her cellphone, moving this henge is none other than Dennis, he groans in exertion, several hours gone by and here he was still pulling this stone,

(It's a small price to pay, i'm done with the disrespect!, those motherfuckers need to be thought their place) he groans while pondering.

Darren while seated in class stares apathetically at the board, having wrestled with the option for a while he steps out of the class with his decision made, he dials a number before clicking call,

"I accept" he states with no following context, minutes later a car pulls up before the school gates, Darren steps out if the school grounds and into the waiting black Rolls Royce phantom,

"So youve decided, good choice" Jhon states, "Welcome to Merchants!" he grins sinisterly as the car speeds away into the distance.

Raven stares at the poorly recreated board before turning his attention back to the picture at hand, below the picture of Duke Wade was a letter number reference,

(D-1?, What's does this mean?, District?) He ponders,

"no matter, i need to think up a way to taje down the third affiliate, and for that there's only one man capable of helping" he mutters, his mind shooting to Klaus, "i'll need to investigate",

{I fear such actions will only make approaching and eliminating the leader harder} Silver pipes up,

"Even still, it's our only course of action" he responds, "given what we know, it's safe to say the fourth affiliate wasn't of much value ir rather didn't hold strategic importance given who they left in charge, which unfortunately leads me to believe the other affiliates are running far more damnable businesses, there's no way they aren't involved with drugs",

{That could very well be, however it changes nothing, the stakes will only get higher, and though your mother can not be hurt by them, your friends are far from infallible, especially the girls} Silver states, {you would do well to rember this, hey have more to lose, so they will stop at nothing to 'remove'' you} it concludes.

James sighs laying down the file containing Raven's recent actions as well as Hide's recent movements,

(His really bent on doing this huh, i wonder why?, No matter, it coencides with my own goals, i guess i don't mind helping out, how to do that though i'm not sure, it's virtually impossible to spy on the stronger Shifters, i'm only aware because his actions where high profile this time, Shifters are just too unnecessarily keen) he mules, "No matter, i just have to ensure MERCHANTS are destroyed before murim enact the proxy war edict", (by then, the petty squabbles of the four crews or at least whatever remains of them won't matter, given the strength Merchants posses they where decided by the three factions to ve excluded, but with the remaining crews in ruins, that brings them back into contention, and with their close ties to MURAKAN i have no doubt they'll serve under them, i refuse to alow those bastards plan come to pass!)

Konan smashes his fist into his opponents face finally downing him, he gazes down at the sea of unconscious bodies around him in contempt, behind him the best fighters of RELENTLESS stand now Shifters, despite his low level as a Compression stage Muscles Shifter he was knowledgeable enough to guide the boys, and despite Yanick's protests he'd gone against his orders, the only hope to protect their city was strength, and up untill now no even now they didn't have the strength required, after his humiliating defeat to Jaime Yorç he'd learnt something, to achieve a cause one needed to do anything, Konan had thrown away his pride, re-evaluated himself and come to terms with the fact that he was far from the great mind he thought himself to be, RELENTLESS had the numbers, but lacked the quality, and against Shifters, quality is really all that matters, if anything, getting beat again and again was more than enough proof, and although Yanick was stubborn, everyone else was tired,

(there's nothing worse than wanting to achieve something but lacking the ability to do so), but now he'd healed, he'd reflected, and although the four major crews need to go, they seemed to Konan like a necessary evil, with just two of the three crews crippled, smaller ambitious crews sought to take their place, (At least Belgrade still has Nathan and Co, Jhevo is a mess, and even more troubling Central is a hotbed, ripe and untainted, most crews with smart enough leaders have tried and continue to try desperately to wrestle control out of RELENTLESS' hands, and much more would try, Konan only hoped when they did, by then, they'd be more than ready,

(I'm sure that's why he left, he doesn't have to say it, we know, we're all weak, but that's fine, that's about to change!).

Duke Wade steps out of his prison cell waiting and following the warden wordlessly, finally, his sentence was over, finally!, He could have his revenge, and he bloody hell would!.

"Welcome back boss" the hulk named Tobi calls, in his palms is Dukes black coat, Duke grabs it swinging his right hand into it's sleeve,

"It's good to be back Tobi, let's go home".

An hour later Duke finds himself at DEALERS head quarters, behind him in suits are the second third and fourth in command, each of them he trusts with his life,

"What's next boss?" The bald average heighted lightskin teen inquires,

"I've decided on an alliance with Merchants" he states,

"But boss, can they be trusted?" He inquires,

"No they can't" he responds with a chuckle,

"Then why!" A long haired teen of average height inquires,

"Well the reason's simple Daniel, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, if i'm going to take Vin down, i need to avoid playing into his hands by going to war with Merchants" he concludes,

"Boss, forgive me if i'm out of line, but... why?" He inquires after some contemplation,

"I assure you bradley, i have my reasons" he replies much to the silent displeasure of the former, (I can't very well tell you it's because if him, because of that bastard Vin he was forced to make the choice he did, to protect us, i swore an oath of secrecy to him abd i intend to keep it, for now. For now i need to focus on Merchants, i know thet have him, i'm sure!, Corinth, i'll find you!) He ponders as his eyes glean with ferocity.
