JIMMY'S BETRAYAL (Ch. 104)
Jayson steps into Club cardless, turning to survey the small club he finds that no one except for a person in a hoodie and shades is present,
"Have you spent the last two months choking down steroids or something?" Raven quips,
Jayson grins, (i might as well have been),
"I didn't know you'd gone emo in just a little over two" Jay bites back in response, Raven chuckles, getting to his feet as the two embrace, Yanick Konan and Maya walk in shortly after, the group embrace each other,
"Maya" Jay calls,
"After the meeting" she replies turning away with a smile before,
"Glad to see somethings don't change" Konan quips as the group bursts into laughter,
"Where's James?" Yanick inquires,
"He replied that he couldn't make it, not today" Raven reveals,
"That's a shame, i miss that guy" Yanick replies, "any problem with him?" He questions,
"None that he mentioned" Raven replies,
"And why are you in emo?, A new option in style?" Yanick questions,
"Since when was all black emo?" Raven groans,
"Since over sized glasses where a thing" Konan quips, "you look dumb in those" he follows,
"C'mon, Maya help me out here" Raven turn's to her, Maya looks away, and another round of laughter erupts. Finally settling Raven gets to the first business at hand,
"I didn't know when the war begins, for now we need to pack our bags and get moving to Jhevo, i've had my mom get us accomodation over there",
"Didn't know you were rich" Konan replies,
"Neither did i" Raven follows, "but first there's something we need to do",
"Which is?" Jayson questions,
"Maya, you need to go see Laura" Raven states,
"Don't we all" Maya replies,
"We will, but i have a plan, and i need you to hold her back, you know her temper",
"You used her as bait" Konan replies picking up quick,
"Bait?, For what?" Maya questions,
"Jimmy" Konan replies,
"What!" Maya shouts, "how could you!" She bellows,
"If you'd listen" Raven interjects,
"Calm down Maya" Jayson follows,
"Thank you" Raven replies,
"Explain yourself" Yanick states,
"Here's how it happened..." Raven begins, after giving an account of his encounter with Jimmy and the Foreign emissary as well as their deal he fills them in on the plan,
"I don't like this" Maya declares,
"But if it will help us, help her, i'll do it" Maya concedes,
"Very well then, what're we waiting for, let's get moving" Raven states,
"Will the three of you be enough?" Konan questions, "I'm yet to see an ATTUNEMENT level Shifter",
"What you scared?" Jayson mocks,
"No, exited" Konan grins,
"You've already seen two people someone stronger" Raven declares,
"Whom are?" Konan inquires,
"Vin Gin and Jhon Wuu", silence reigns at the reminder, "And yes, we do have backup" Raven continues,
"Who?" The rest question,
"you'll see when the time's right" Raven grins.
Laura watches the birds surf the dusk's setting sun, from her position beside her window, in her mind her thoughts plays of a months passed,
"I miss you guys," she mumbles in rueful ponder" her lock screen accentuated by a picture holding her and her friends,
(Whatevers going on of dangerous, i understand, so please, PLEASE comeback safe" she prays, her phone vibrates into life, a call coming through, she'd been stuck withing the confines of the new home Raven's mother had gifted them,
"Maya!" She exclaims,
"Laura!" The Maya exclaims in tandem,
"I missed you so much" Laura smiles her eyes stinging as she holds back tears,
"I have too you psycho, where are you now, i'll come meet you", Maya states,
"The new place" Laura replies,
"I'll be there in twenty five" Maya declares, true to her word nearly half an our later she arrives before the doors to her best friends house, the door swings open violently as a familiar shilouette barrels into Maya tackling her to the floor, Laura hugs tight holding on to her for dear life,
"It's alright, it's alright" Maya calls softly stroking Laura's hair, "do you want to talk about it?" Maya questions softly, as she brings Laura in, the two take seat beside each other on the living room couch,
"He'd have..., If Raven hadn't come when he did, i...i was scared, i..." Laura begins,
"It's okay to be scared Laura, you don't always have to be the strong one",
"I'm not scared darling" Laura replies lying her head on Maya lap,
"Then what is it?" The latter questions,
"I'm pissed!" Laura replies, "i feel weak, like a burden, i know things are dangerous but i don't want to loose my friends, how do i do that when i can't even protect myself?" She questions,
"I understand how you feel, i do, but even if we suddenly become Shifters we're still far too weak to do much, what we need to do for now at least is stay out of the boy's way and let them handle things",
"I know, doesn't make things any less unpleasant, i still haven't seen him, it's been a month since he saved me" she complains,
"Do you blame him?" Maya questions,
"...no, i only hope I'm there to see him break that little rodent's face in" Laura smiles,
"That so?" A voice questions from the door, the two girls shoot up looking behind the wall to see the speaker,
"BASTARD!" Laura roars attempting to lunge for him, Maya holds he back, albeit with much struggle,
"I do hope you two cooperate, I'm not in the mood to babysit" Jimmy replies, "infact i'll be frank, what I'm about to do is for both i and your boyfriend's mutual benefit" he declares with a condescending gaze,
"Knock them out and but them in the car" Jimmy orders his guard,
"You said you wanted to see him?" Maya smiles,
"Who?...Rave...",
A shilouette blurs into the house, Jimmy's guard is there to save him from instant death taking the blow on,
{It's not the place nor the time Raven} Silver states,
"You know the rules, no distinguishable Shifter activity out in public" Jimmy smiles feeling his ribs subconsciously,
"Bashing a rodent's head in with my fists is far from distinguishable" Raven replies taking of his shades, the four watching gasp, Jimmy frowns,

His guards watches with renewed vigilance, (they moved faster than anticipated, i need to inform the master) she ponders
"You should be able to feel it l
By now" Raven states, the guard's eyes widen as the sheer number of powerful unique imprinted 'Force' she feels chills her,
(I have to escape!) She ponders, (the master must be informed), she blurs bursting through the roof, Raven follows instantly, landing on the roof the guard soon realises what had truly transpired, Jimmy James had betrayed them.
SEVERAL HOURS PRIOR
Jimmy is layed on his bed, well aware that even now he was being surveyed, picking his phone he wonders unto We Tube, on there is an old video Duke and Raven had featured in together, long before the national star had begun his tour,
(At least he's free of this Shifter nonsense, not that it'll matter much longer) he muses, he watches the video to it's midpoint, before typing a comment in, expecting to wait several hours before any reply came through, at the very least Jimmy was sure one would, he'd left a note for his favourite adversary,
'YOU AND PYTHON, THE WE-TUBE VIDEO, NUMBER ONE' , it was the only way he was somewhat sure he could communicate with Raven in protected fashion, why? Simple the platform ownership b belonged solely to Hide industries, any form of incursion on their servers would be dealt with quickly, so even if MURAKAN had tracker's they'd need patience, that was where he'd win, so for the first time since his mind recalled he gave a prayer, (please reply quickly), to his pleasant suprise, Raven did, a reply comes through,
"Who's this dumbfuck arguing with my opinion" Jimmy mutters irritatedly and then begins fiercely typing,
'i have a plan' Jimmy begins, 'if i don't get away from my watch soon i'm dead, help me and i'll help you, you capture her, deliver her to your mother's faction and see what you can get' Jimmy sends,
'why should i?, And what use is a simple disposable henchman' Raven replies swiftly,
'disposable?, Lol,' Jimmy begins, 'inow know enough about Shifter's to know no faction on the planet has enough ATTUNEMENT level combatants to make them disposable, she knows something, no matter how small, capturing and getting it out of her your problem, i simply want you to give me mommy's protection, don't let your feelings get in the way if things Rave, you of all people should know, the price is way to high and we're way too far into this shit to keep thinking with your ass, people's lives are on the line',
'if you betray me, not even MURAKAN will save you, i assure you they'll offet me your head on a plate' Raven sends in reply,
"This fucking bastard!, Stop arguing!" Jimmy exclaims, (i need to end this conversation soon, i don't know how much longer she'll buy it),
'here's the deal, send me Laura's location, clear the area, get a force of combatants, and get this bitch, i get my protection do we have a deal?' Jimmy replies keeping his heart rate steady as his face stares desperately with hope,
'Vasiline estate, steet four house six, be there at late noon, five thirty' Raven's reply comes through, Jimmy exhales with a triumphant smile,
"This son of a bitch finally gave up, i win" he states smugly, (i win) he muses turning towards the direction of his guard's room.
