The Players are Set (pt.2)

After they agreed to talk about their problems like adults instead of pretending they don't exist, they went to their first period class. Marcellus and Alicia have the same class because of them compelling the principal, however, Arthur sadly had to go to his class that was separate from them.

Some time into class Marcellus checked his grades and was shocked.

[Grades: ]

[Language Arts: F, 54%]

[Personal Finances: F, 51%]

[Nutrition & Wellness II: C, 76%]

[Physical science: F, 54%]

[History: F, 51%]

[Mathematics: F, 56%]

[Choir: B, 81%]

The only classes that he had any grade in besides an F, were classes in which you only had to be present to do well in.

'What the hell?!! How did this hap—oh!' thought Marcellus in realization. He and Alicia had told the teachers to make sure our attendance was not a problem. Meaning they had no bad marks for that. However, When they went to turn in assignments, well they didn't, cause they weren't there!!

"..." Marcellus then turned to look at Alicia and seeing that she was napping like a child after a long day, he just decided to tell her later. Afterall, she probably wouldn't even care.

After the bell rang Marcellus went to wake up Alicia and told her the mistake they made.

"Are you dumb or something Marcel?" asked Alicia as soon as she heard Marcellus' problem.

"Lets just go compel the teacher to give us straight A's" stated Alicia as she yawned and stretched, looking like a cat waking up from a sweet nap.

"..Marcellus blushed from enbarrassement as he truly felt stupid for not thinking of such a simple solution to this problem.

*SIGH* "I'll go do it," said Marcellus as he walked up to the teacher.

"Excuse me" said Marcellus as he got close enough to the teacher for her to hear him.

"Yes, Marcellus?" asked the teacher.

Marcellus' irises started glowing in a crimson color as the whites turned black.

"You will give myself and the new student Alicia full points on all assignments. You will forget this conversation and all memories of the last 2 minutes" finished Marcellus with a sigh as his face returned to normal and as he and Alicia walked out of the classroom to go to second period.

They went by each class and gave the teachers the same orders, to give them straight A's.

Now, we are at lunch, where Marcellus, Alicia and Arthur are outside in a courtyard of the school. Arthur has a piece of pizza and Alicia and Marcellus are sipping on a 'slushie'.

Marcellus explained to Arthur everything he learned about vampires and the supernatural world. He explained why he ignored him, to not have to worry about feeding on his best friend. He explained about his deal with Alicia and how it is only thanks to her that he doesn't have the constant need to kill humans. He also told him that he and Alica were friends and they enjoy being around each other. Alicia smiled when she heard that last part.

However, he left out the part about him killing a police officer. Arthur's dad was a cop and Arthur wanted to be one, Marcellus didn't think he'd take it well.

"So, you running at the speed of sound is normal and god exists, that's the gist of it right?" responded Arthur with a goofy grin after he processed the information that Marcellus imparted on him.

"Oh, you can run at the speed of sound?" asked Alica, slightly surprised. Even she couldn't run that fast after all.

"I managed to do it once, back when I was a fledgling. Why, can you not?" asked Marcellus in a curious tone. He was wondering why Alicia got so surprised.

"It is surprising because even though I, as an unranked, can't run that fast, you as a fledgling could. Which would mean that your current top speed is mach 2 from the power boost that comes with ranking up" replied Alicia. Even hearing herself say it outloud doesn't make it seem any more believable.

"..." Marcellus just smirked at Alicia without saying anything.

"..." Alicia, understanding what she just said, got embarrassed and angry as a vein popped out on her forehead.

"After this Martial Arts club, you and I, are going to race" ordered Alicia in a tone that left no room for argument. How could this peasant think he is faster than me, Humph?!!!

"Hahaha, sure" replied Marcellus, knowing he finally has a chance to beat Alcia at something. Just the mere thought makes him smile.

"..." And Alicia didn't like that smile.

"You guys can use my special treadmill if you want?" asked Arthur, already excited to be seeing a race of people, sorry, vampires, who can move at speeds faster than a bullet.

"Okay" They responded at the same time.

"Did you two practice that?" asked Arthur, a little freaked out about how in sync that answer was.

Both Marcellus and Alicia looked at each other, smirked and said, "No, not at all" then started laughing.

"..." Arthur used his right to plead the fifth.

....

After they finished the rest of classes and compelled themselves good grades they met up with Arthur as they all walked to the dojo in the basement of the school.

As Marcellus and Alicia both drank another 'Slushie' Arthur looked at the two in curiosity.

"Why have you two been drinking Slushies all day, don't you, like, drink blood?" questioned Arthur.

"Why? Are you offering?" responded Alicia as she smiled. Being a villain and wanting to see Arthur's reaction.

"..." Arthur just slowly stepped closer to Marcellus as he eyed Alicia, making her giggle.

"It's how we hide blood, we pretend it's melted cherry" responded Marcellus as he rolled his eyes at the two's antics. Since when did he, a super fast, badass, mind controlling, vampire become a babysitter?

They arrived at the dojo's double doors and Arthur slid them open.

As he did Marcellus' and Arthurs expressions went dark as you could see something was upsetting them.

"Hello Zachary!!!" spat Marcellus with a disgusted expression and a tone filled with bloodlust.
