Go A Yeong had no choice but to run to the person who, she had been hiding from for five years, to save her children. In return, he asked her to marry him. Between saving her life or saving her children, the answer was obvious to her. But, is she really giving up on her life or upgrading it?

"Nice choice. Why wait for three more days? Contact your manager now.". Go A Yeong shook her head. "It's very late. I'll inform her tomorrow. I'm going to sleep. Good night.". Jeong Seo Joon nodded slightly.


He wanted her to finalize that script as fast as possible. He fixed his gaze on a script on the table that Go A Yeong had left behind. That particular script had two kissing scenes and a bed scene. Thank God, she didn't choose that one.


Even if she had, he wouldn't have stopped her. He wouldn't be a hurdle toward her growth in her career. Unless. Yes, nice choice. He should take over the task of selecting scripts for her.


"Thank you for coming.". Go A Yeong had missed Cho Dae Hyun, so she was overjoyed when he appeared out of nowhere, claiming to miss her and the children. "There's no need for thanks. I came to meet my dear friend and her boys.". She would've been moved if he hadn't been glaring at Jeong Seo Joon while saying that.


She was relieved when she saw Jeong Seo Joon all dressed up and ready to head out. He and Cho Dae Hyun were still at each other's throats, so she felt it was better for them not to meet. But for some reason, Jeong Seo Joon seemed to cancel his plans, as he didn't move from his seat even after finishing breakfast.


He and Cho Dae Hyun didn't seem to take their eyes off each other, and the tension between them was slowly getting unbearable. "Can you both stop glaring at each other? The boys are here, so please behave.". The men stopped, but not before threatening each other with their eyes.


"How is everything at your job going? Don't join on any dangerous missions and stick to the simple cases.". Go A Yeong was constantly worried about his job. The day he came to see her with a bandaged arm and head still haunted her. She didn't want to lose him too.


"Don't worry about me. I can take care of myself." Cho Dae Hyun tried to comfort her, placing his hands on top of her.


Jeong Seo Joon glared at their hands. His job was dangerous too. Did she know how many people were after his position and money? Why wasn't she telling him to be careful too?


Jeong Ji Hun And Jeong Ji Won stared at the scene before them and turned to each other, slowly shaking their head. Their father picked the wrong man as his love rival. Cho Dae Hyun wouldn't romantically think of their mother even if she were the only remaining woman on earth.


Two weeks passed. The first shooting of 'Revenge of a Woman' had started. But Go A Yeong didn't expect to bump into her 'best friend' on the first day of her shooting. "Look who's here. I thought you had run off somewhere after finally understanding that you couldn't survive in this industry. But it seems like you're still clueless." sneering at her, Seo Yi Yun said.


Seo Yi Yun and Go A Yeong studied together in college. Seo Yi Yun was the typical spoiled girl who wanted to be number one in everything. As a result, Go A Yeong became her rival when she began to excel in her assignments. Jealousy turned to hatred, and she tried every dirty trick in the book to maintain her dominance over Go A Yeong.


Because she was wealthy, she was able to easily obtain the roles that Go A Yeong was offered, and after Go A Yeong got pregnant and only acted in small gigs, she was relieved. But seeing her again as the main lead on a big project made her anxious.
