The chimes ring as Matt pushes the door and as he scans the room he sees various weapons organized on racks. He then turns to the reception table where Belgrin is ringing a bell.
"Welcome, how may I help?" said the receptionist as she sits on a stool near the counter.
"We need oil,"Belgrin as he points to Matt "and a few of your ready made garments for the marksman".
"You're a bit too big to be a marksman? I a'm Lana the tailor" the receptionist as she fans herself with a wide brimmed hat. k
"Go to the forge you will find the smith there and you're oil" she urges Belgrin. "Now marksman let's find out how big you are" said Lana as she approaches.
"Shall we" Matt attempts to ignore her shots.
"Aah, your no fun" said Lana as she leads Matt to where the clothes were.
After a few minutes of choosing Matt now wearing a brown linen shirt, leather pants with reinforced knees, boots with a steel toe and a brown cloak. Matt was walking to the counter about to pay and sees Belgrin. "Took ya sweet time did ya" he jokingly said.
"Got the fuel"Matt as he comes near. "Ya, got a lot of e'm"Belgrin points to a wagon at the storefront."What about food" Matt follows up.
"Way ahead of us marksman". said the dwarf with a shrug.
The duo was now about to exit when Matt's saw something.
It was a one handed sword that similar to a knight's arming sword or a knight's secondary weapon. "We'll take this as well" Matt as he ties the sword's scabbard to his belt.
"I take it that you don't have identification papers"Belgrin as he looks at Matt."I do, but I think it is not valid here"Matt as he pays his pocket and feels his wallet then pulls out his phone.
Let's stop here for a bit"Belgrin as he parks the wagon in front of a building with a big sign,"Adventurer's association" in big letters.
"It would benefit you if you sign up as a problem solver or as a adventurer."Belgrin as he walks to the door.
The door opens with a creek as Matt pushed it open. What was inside was a surprise, humans, dwarves, and elves!!
"Damn," Matt as he eyes an elf with a rather proportional body.
She whispers something as she passes and walked out the door.
"Here"Belgrin as he waves at Matt to a counter with a clerk behind it. On
the counter laid an apparatus with what seem to be a screan with flashing symbols.
The clerk motions to a slot,"please insert your hand here, this machine takes scans if you are capable of using mana,so please cooperate".
Matt nods as he inserts his hand on the machine."OK, you can take your hand our now"instructed the clerk.
"Now, let's see"said the clerk with a audible gasped."Magic capability higher than normal, even better than Clarke when registered",said the clerk.
"What!!!", an angry shout came from a group of young men and came forward a teen clothed in a nobles attire, which in stark contrast to what the others are wearing.
Matt turns with his hand gripped firmly on his sidearm."Better, you think you're better than me!!! "said the boy as he picks up a bow that leaned on the table and nocks an arrow.
"Sit down kid",Matt as he slowly unholsterd his weapon.
"Here are your papers, please write your name here and it's finished",interrupted the clerk as she tries to de-iscalate the situation which leaves the cocky teen to simmer in his anger.
"Done, let's get moving",Matt as he lowers the quill. As he turns away the boy shouted."Igni" as a stream of flames appeared. "Careful"Belgrin as he shoves Matt out of the way and an unseen force seemed to split the flames apart.
"Shit!!!"Matt as he rapid fires his 1911 with a
loud bark then followed by the thud of a falling body. The bullets ripped through the teen's torso, all on his chest and one just below his neck between his collar bones, which resulted in him joking on is own blood.
"Asshole"said Matt as he approaches the gurgling mess and picks up the bow, now stained with blood of its previous owner.
