Follow that bird

It was the start of the day, and a male Jackrixis was currently chewing on a type of plant that he found while foraging.

This plant tasted weird and tingly, but it was nice until he stopped chewing and stopped breathing his body slumping onto the ground.

You see, these people don't know what's good and what's not, so they have to do a trial by fire and just hope they get lucky and don't get anything positions.

Sadly, wasn't this rixis luck he was eating a lethal plant, and it didn't help he kept eating since it tasted nice.

But there was something good to come of this, and that was that after a few hours, another Jackrixis came by and noticed the body and walked over.

The male looked at the body before noticing the half-eaten plant in its hand and came closer and smelt the stick but also the male's mouth.

Before standing for a while thinking about what happened...he then proceeded to eat the plant and end up the same as the other male.

Yep, they may be good hunters, but that doesn't mean they're all there yet, and this besides probably the wolf incursion is what will kill them the most.

That was exploring the unknown and going to new

lands and having to watch and learn and hope to understand the things that kill you before they

can kill you.

Every plant could kill you fast or slowly. Something you might think is safe to eat could kill you in 3 years. Some animals you thought were safe to eat aren't unless cooked a certain way.

The world at the very beginning was extremely horrific. You could wake up one day and everything's fine, then you eat the wrong plant or animal, then you just die.

The 4th generation was the most adventurous by far, which meant they faced danger much more often, which caused more death.

But it also made better fighters and smarter survivors who knew what to eat and what is deadly, and if they were lucky, they could pass it on to their children.

That lucky day came as once more a male came that was the 3rd and luckily the finale and seeing two bodies both smelling of the plant he got the message.

He looked at the plant and remembered its look before leaving the bodies to go back to the ground, but the death of these two males made it so that fewer would have to die in the future.

This was something that both the candidates and the viewers forget is that it isn't all just straight fighting and planning and gaining glory.

A lot at the start and in the future, exploring and understanding would still matter, and the efforts wouldn't be forgotten.

well, these guys will since no one has learned to write or even speak, so they won't, but there is still respect from the viewers and creator.

"Christ, that's 4 Jackrixis dead besides these two guys and two other females who died when chasing each other and falling off a cliff."-Jack

"How many are left now then system?"-Jack

[]27 hosts, but not to worry. Once you reach the tribal stage, the number will increase, and you won't have to keep doing the math on a piece of paper (●^●)[]

"Yes!"-Jack

"Anyway, is It time for them to start making the new generations yet?"-Jack

[]Almost they have been more focused on exploring, so they left mating for a later time, but by them doing this means. They can give the 5th generation more information, which causes the death toll later to drop[]

"It's kinda annoying they can't speak yet. It would make things so much easier. I mean, it's amazing what a few words could do"-Jack

Back in the jungle biome, a small Jackrixis was on the hunt when he spotted a strange flying thing, also known as a bird, and it was seemingly watching him.

So he did what any good hunter does when he thinks he's being challenged he tries to attack the bird but can't as the bird is much faster than him.

But the strange thing was that the bird didn't run away and instead contained to look at the Jackrixis who once again tried to attack this went on for hours.

Eventually, the male lost all his energy and sat down slowly, breathing and getting his energy back while waiting. The bird still looked at him.

After a while, the bird gave a few cheerful chirps and then left, causing the Jackrixis to realize that the bird thought they were playing all along.

This was extremely annoying for the male, and he'd make sure he'd catch and kill that bird another day when he was ready.

This went on for a while. The young Jackrixis kept trying to catch the bird, and without him knowing as the weeks went on, he became a better hunter.

He started thinking more instead of just charging in he had to learn where it lived and what it ate but also the habits it had.

But the bird just thought they were having fun and what the hunter didn't know, so did its friends who he didn't realize were watching.

The bird even left some food for the hunter when it realized he was hungry and couldn't find food, so this made the hunter confused about how to proceed.

Until one day, it managed to grab the bird and was wondering what to do for once in his life since normally it would already be in his mouth.

But when he saw the scared look on its face, he was the first of his race to show mercy and let the bird go after thinking. He realized he became a better hunter from this experience and learned a valuable lesson.

The young rixis kept a feather of the bird that fell off when it was caught and was bright red like flames like the bird that was bright red.

The Jackrixis slowly left the place he had lived for the last few weeks and slowly disappeared as the birds watched him leave.

"Aww, that's nice"-Jack
