A meeting of like minded aliens

The Rixis were in a strange predicament as no more savage hounds were attacking, and everything calmed down, but they were still on edge.

They could just tell they weren't alone, and if their instincts and gut feeling were correct, they may be surrounded by an invisible enemy.

For now, all they could do was keep watch and start a shift with at least 2 of them watching at all times while the rest could finally get some rest.

If you were wondering about the rixis seemingly giving up the rush in tactics but after quick scouting, they had managed to find no enemy's in sight.

Even then, as they hiked through the snow back to the middle of the forest, that feeling of being watched was ever-present.

As you can imagine, a race of hunters in an unfamiliar environment who felt like they could be attacked at any moment didn't enjoy the current situation.

"We..go.. no...fight here"-Rixis 5

"Prey...hide..good"-Rixis 3

"No, we stay"-Leader Rixis

"But...no...thing"-Rixis 1

"We stay to fight for the lord"-Leader Rixis

Even though their wills were starting to falter, the leader kept them in line, and together, they stayed in the winter forest.

The stress was getting to the leader, so in an understandable but foolish decision, he decided to go off during the day to have some time to himself.

While the Jackrixis were strong and capable fighters who did well in tough situations and helped and cared for each other.

They still had complex feelings and thoughts that made them irrational or act out of their own best interests.

For the leader, the weight of all his responsibilities was simply starting to get to him, so he decided to try a decompress and be alone.

He didn't go far a sat on a small tree that had fallen over and was resting in the snow, so the rixis sat down and looked at his feet in the snow.

All he could think of was the children awaiting him back home that his mate was holding and who would be born soon into this savage world.

He took up this role not only so that he could prove himself to his creator and race but also to those close to him he wanted to show his worth.

While all these thoughts rumbled in his mind, the creatures surrounding him drew closer as they made sure to not step on the twigs and leaves in the snow.

When you compare the tall and strong rixis to these small and skinny blue creatures, the sight was much more frightening for one side than the other.

However, this is what we know them as the Little Blues was waiting for since they knew it wouldn't be the best idea to try and talk to the whole group.

You see the Little Blues in the hours that they had been watching the Jackrixis they quickly understood that these creatures were different from the red menace that came here first.

These creatures looked and thought like them more, which helped in their decision to talk instead of fighting even if it was guaranteed they would lose.

One other thing to add was the fact that they didn't have other options it was either talk to the scary aliens or be eaten by the red hounds.

They were trapped in this paradise they had been left in, and now that it had been breached by outsiders, they would have to take a leap of faith.

So while the leader slowly tapped his foot into the snow and thought about his future family, it was only when one of the Little Blues was in front of him that he noticed he was surrounded.

You got to give it to the little guys in the winter biome they were great at stealth even if it wasn't a racial skill of theirs.

The leader's eyes quickly sunk in, and his pupils dilated and stretched as he prepared to claw and rip until his last breath at the enemy ambushing him.

However, the small blue creature raised its arms and was shaking while looking at the killing machine in front of its face.

The strangest thing that stopped the leader from stomping or chomping down on the brave blue creature was its clothing.

The leader understood that if they had clothes or they wanted to cover up their vulnerable privates, then they must have some sort of smarts or intelligence.

Yep, clothes just saved the life of that Little Blue envoy, and the rixis leader stood up, and his eyes went back to normal as he called at the unknown race.

From having a quick look around, he could say that there were about 300 to 500 little blues, but he couldn't count that high no of the rixis could.

In his head, all he could think of was that there were a lot of them and were about 5 to 6 tribes or more, which was dome what correct.

A minute silence encompasses the area as the leader watches the small blue people whose eyes watch the larger creature in intrigue.

Sadly, the Little blues couldn't speak the very basic rixis language, but they did have a sort of rudimentary sign language of their own, which they used to talk with each other and discuss ideas and opinions.

Since they couldn't talk, they did the next best thing that all groups could do when meeting for the first time besides genocide which was gift-giving.

So they quickly laid next to rixis feet a small gift basket of berries and handmade jewelry, which was made of flowers and sticks.

But the gesture managed to bridge the gap, and the leader, being the smartest of the group, understood what the meaning behind the gift was.

This was why they waited for him to separate as besides being the leader, it was obvious he was much more... brighter than his allies.

So he decided to meet them so after doing the only thing he could think of was to eat the berries and wear the flower merely which was too small for him but the thought was what counted.

After thinking for a few minutes, he understood the best course of action and started to walk back to his group while signalling the Little Blues to follow him.

So when he came back, it was understandable that his group that we're getting worried after he had been gone for nearly half an hour was shocked when he came back with a blue wave behind him.

They quickly stood up and got ready to fight, but their leader spoke to them and claimed them down and told his group what he figured out.

"This what we here for"-Leader Rixis

"What?" -Rixis 2

"No..fight?"-Rixis 4

"No fight we go"-Leader

It was a strange thing to have to listen to, but the rixis trusted in their leader's judgment even if it was a bit strange.

The only problem now was that there was a gain group of Little Blues and a much smaller group of Jackrixis who now we were stuck wondering what to do.

It was obvious that the rixis smaller friends wouldn't be able to survive the harsh winds of the blizzard and the monsters that lurked within it.

So a rather strange idea happened in which the Little blues climbed on and into the rixis clothes now they were small. But they weren't miniature, so at most, 20 of them could leave with them, but once again, the Blues had an idea.

After getting a basic idea of how the rixis came here, they decided to take groups of 15 to the nearest igloo and drop them off there and come back for more.

An igloo of the rixis size of 6 to 8 since they need space for rations and spare weapons would fit about 50 little blues if they were okay with being a little cramped.

It took 3 hours for all this to come together because of the language barrier, but they managed to get it done and started to transport the blues.

It was decided that 4 rixis would leave, and one would stay behind to guard the rest of the group. If they were correct, it would take about 30 minutes to get to the nearest igloo.

After that igloo was filled they would move the group of 50 to the next and would continue until the second igloo because most of the monsters and creatures would have been killed by the tribe and wouldn't have to protect them from then on.

So they got to work as groups of 15 Little Blues and 4 rixis disappeared into the blizzard and towards the igloo as the rest waited.

If you were wondering how they knew which way to go back, it was pretty obvious by the giant ash pile they left behind from the giant fire that had died.

It was a bit awkward for the lone rixis who just stood in the middle of a group of small blue creatures that she couldn't talk to.

But they could understand the female rixis troubles and offered her some berries, which she gladly ate and chilled down and kept watch.

After multiple round trips, I went back and forward and moving the Blues from one igloo to another with the odd creature attacking here and there.

But the rixis took care of them and even got the help of the Little Blue, even if it was just them pelting the enemy with snowballs.

After filling the 3rd igloo, there were 150 of the Little blues out of the centre of the blizzard and into the igloos.

The leader told his 3 companions to go back to the fourth igloo to bring over the next group while he brought the current group to the second where he would run back to the rixis and get reinforcements.

So they split up and whilst the leader rushed out with the first group of Little Blues he was so busy he didn't notice the red blur charging towards him and crashed into the snow as the hound tried to rip out his throat.

The leader had to grab onto the hound's throat as it tried to slam its hard onto his face or throat as he kicked the hound in its sacred jewels.

That managed to get the hound off, but the cuts all over his arms were causing him to lose blood as the hound must have hit a vein.

The leader wasn't sure if he could make it out, but to his shock and awe, the Little blues all swarmed the hound and proceeded to stab and claw at the downed enemy.

It was a gory site to see a cute Little Blue rip the hound's eye out with its mouth and didn't even eat it as the hound was ripped apart.

If the rixis leader knew any curses, he would have said them first as the prey was now dead, so he quickly picked himself up and rushed out of the blizzard.

Once he was past the second igloo, he spotted a team of 3 rixis hunting a creature but stopped once they heard his shouts.

The leader quickly fell on his knees as he tried to explain the situation, and he was carried back to the village.

The healers and village elders confided in the leader who quickly sent a group of 20 soldiers to breach the blizzard and 5 be stationed at each igloo.

While on their way to the blizzard, they met the new race, who was quite weird to see, considering how small and blue they were, but they seemed nice.

This was the blue's turn to be a bit more worried now seeing the increased numbers of the rixis as 15 quickly passed them and continued further on.

While the leader was being treated for his injuries and the guards took their place, the rest of the group managed to meet the reinforcements and went back into the centre.

It was still hard walking to and from the center, but the fact that they now had the reason for their mission and it showed it was nearly over.

The speed picked up massively, and soon will 500 of the Little Blues broke out of their prison and made it to the winter forest tribe which was now very packed.

Once it was all said and done, there were about 10 hours left on the timer, and the quest was completed as the rixis and blues watched each other.
