Converging on the winter tribe

As the migration towards the winter tribe was underway, many rixis had different experiences, with some exploring new lands they had never seen before.

Others also took this opportunity to intact their evil plans and started to prepare ambushes and traps for those on their way to the tribe. With some who even tried to infiltrate the winter tribe but they failed spectacularly because of the extra security that was stationed in the surrounding area.

As more Jackrixis came to the winter forest biome, the population continued to rise and now had the largest number of Jackrixis ever gathered before.

This, however, quickly showed the problems with any intelligent race gathering in large numbers, which are personality clashes and opinions, even if those opinions are mostly grunts and hand signals with the smarter rixis uttering broken English.

Most of the disturbances had been dealt with, and it would have been much worse if not for the skills and choice jack made that allowed for these types of things to be a rarity.

But the rixis who didn't cause problems still had come to an issue, which they realized upon coming to the tribe and meeting the Little Blues.

The current population size was between 300 to 500, which seemed like a lot, but the rixis had around 1000 to 2000, which was between tribes and individuals.

So that was the first problem, which may not seem so bad until you realize that the Little Blues liked working in groups of 3 to 5 and would only go with their group.

This made it so that if a minimum of 100 tribes envoys came to the winter tribe to bring back the Little Blues, some wouldn't get any as there wasn't enough.

Also, many Little Blues didn't want to leave the village, making the small number even smaller as they liked the biome and the fact it was so close to their old home.

At least 100 wanted to stay, and they quickly moved to a secluded area to make it known they didn't want to have any discussion about it.

So what could the Jackrixis possibly do to fix this problem that had fallen before them after coming all this way, well it was quite simple as most Jackrixis understood they would all make it at different times they decided upon something with the help of the gods.

They would battle for the right to bring back the Little Blues to their tribe and teams or individuals would go up against each other.

Yep, it was a good old-fashioned brawl in which the prize was the willing and consenting Little Blues who didn't understand what was happening. But It felt like the energy was good and everyone seemed excited so they were happy too.

But the tribes would have to thin out their numbers first and then would go into teams and individuals, so they decided that there would be a battle royal. This happened outside the tribe of course, or else the destruction would be immense, and nobody wanted to try restarting a fire in the cold cause someone destroyed it.

So a square was made using sticks and priests, and elders were dotted on the edges and would watch the fight and disqualify anyone who left the square.

They would also run in if anyone went too far and tried to do any killing or permanent injuries as that wouldn't help anybody.

Soon, hundreds of young and hormone-filled male and female Jackrixis were glaring at each other, and their surrounding competitors and others got into their groups.

Of course, some lone rixis wanted to prove their might by themselves to impress the gods, Little Blues, and their tribe mates, but some were just lone wolves.

It wasn't just the tribes that wanted the Little Blues as some wanted a friend for their journeys, but they could be counted on one hand.

So now a large group of young rixis was about to fight as their elders and some of the village security and Little Blues watched, so how do you think it felt being there?

Well, the easy word would be intense, and the snobby word would also still be intense as even the surrounding wildlife quickly left, sensing something bad was going to happen.

In the future, people who took part in this fight would talk about how the energy could be felt throughout the group as tensions and adrenaline ran through the rixis surroundings and bodies.

Since this was such a special occasion, you must have a special person to start the event and who else but the Jackrixis gods could be fit for the role.

That's right, all of them, including the Little Blues, new gods came, and Jack came out of a portal that was in front of the square that had no rixis nearby.

The security had their weapons, and those in the square raised their fists as they couldn't bring them into the square. But they all immediately dropped to their knees as they realized who came through it.

"It's a pleasure to see you all again"-Jack

The rixis all felt tingles scatter across their bodies as their god spoke to them for the first time in their lives, and they felt so lucky to have this moment.

They couldn't believe they were gazing upon a being so powerful and holy who created them and allowed them to prosper so much, at least in their minds.

"This is getting kinda weird"-Jack thought as he realized the rixis weren't getting up and he felt bad as the ground was covered in snow.

Many of the elders were chanting or whispering small prayers and doing quick rituals that the tribe they came from would do in honour of the gods.

For the Little Blues, this was the first time seeing Jack at all since they hadn't heard much about him as the winter tribe's cultural beliefs were different from others.

As in they pray to Jack and are loyal like everyone else but unlike with the other gods, they feel that the relationship they have with him was supposed to be more private so the Little Blues had never seen any images of him or heard a description of him.

They knew about him, of course, but just that he existed, so they were quite shocked that he simply didn't look like the rixis at all. Still, they knelt so they do not seem disrespectful, and the cogs in their brains started to move as they watched him.

"I hope you don't mind but I brought some of my friends"-Jack said but what he didn't know was that his voice reverberated throughout the mortals and held more power and force without him knowing.

As soon as he fished speaking, portals appeared behind him, as the large Jackrixis gods appeared behind him along with the tall but still short Little Blues gods.

It was quite a scene if you panned out to see a large group of young rixis in a stick square surrounded by elders, guards, and Little Blues and now had their entire pantheon in front of them.

The reaction from the Little Blues was kinda like giving a box of cherry tick-tacks and bottles of fizzy coke to a group of kids with ADHD and that's their reaction to seeing their gods.

A veritable blue swarm surged towards the sibling pair of gods who, to the shock of the rixis, didn't seem mad as they welcomed the Little Blues with smiles and head pats.

Maybe it was because the two gods didn't seem as intimating as Nyx or as eerie as Themis, and they didn't have the aura that came from Minerva.

Renka was alright, but that's because she gave the emotion of whatever was the strongest one that the person currently had, which was excitement and love.

Looking at Renka, you felt that the sun was shining down on her and the clouds parted, and the animals would come and rest by her side in joy.

While looking at Nyx was like the scary general who was tall and muscular as hell and also had the powers of a war god, so they are quite fearful. Minerva made them feel uncomfortable as if she was in their mind, and they couldn't possibly know what she was thinking but that she knew everything about them.

They felt that Themis felt nothing towards them as if he wasn't seeing them as people but as weights that needed to be balanced, which couldn't be more wrong.

Then you had Jack, and the only word to describe him was that he just was to them he didn't have an aura or mystical feel he just was.

The Little Blues gods Vens and Vans seemed to enjoy interacting with their followers kinda like older siblings with their young brothers and sisters.

This would be how they acted being more advisers and gods to converse with which the rixis gods did but also had many other added extras that they did.

As the emotions calmed down, the gods quickly sat down on the wooden chairs that formed underneath them so they could sit and watch the game.

"Thanks for the chairs, Minerva, but how did you do that? "-Jack

"Oh, this is just some basic druidic magic"-Minerva

"Excuse me?"-Jack

"Yea well, I know all rixis both past and present, so even if one rixis hasn't become a druid or gotten the basics, I can gather it all together and make it work"-Minerva

"That seems kinda broken"-Jack

"Well, it's not easy to do, and my knowledge is only as great as the rixis and what you have, which is great, but most of it isn't useful"-Minerva

"Why thank you"-Jack

"Not like that. I mean, you know about guns and what they look like but not how to make one or what most of the parts are stuff like that. I'll have to wait probably thousands of years for and with magic in the mix it may make technological growth go slower"-Minerva

"True, but still I don't have that power"-Jack

"Jack, you control two races and are in charge of a group of gods. What more power can you want?"-Themis

"The ability to clone myself"-Jack

"Didn't you do that with the Jackrixis?"-Renka

"How's that possible"-Jack

"Well, Jack, every creator has a part or version of themselves in their creations, and the rixis is yours even if you don't see it"-Nyx

"Ahh, I don't see it, but thanks, so I'm guessing we should stop rambling on and get to the fight and blood"-Jack

"Yay!"-Nyx

While Nyx seemed excited with his hands in the air and his roar causing a gust of wind to knock over some of the elders who had to be helped up the others looked at him as if he wasn't the god of war.

"Oh, what a god can't be excited!"-Nyx
