The third heaven;

That's all that was left of it, third class apartments and nothing more. Ray crawled down to E's bed. The target for early morning Saturday had overwhelmed the boys > but what choice did they have? Rob and Smith had slid onto the floor under the bed and settled there for the night. Boss took the space on the top bunk and E filled his usual space beside Ray. "Sleep well guys, two hours later we'll be heading for something important,"

Two hours had passed and it was four o'clock. The alarm Rob had set went off and rang a couple of times. Everyone squeezed out of their hiding place. Ray had managed with E on his bed. Rob and Smith came out careful. All the adjustments had wasted more than 10 minutes," c'mon guys we need to find the week part of this building ASAP," Ray said,

"Ray's right, let's move out," Boss said,

"No one cares about my health," Mike who stood all night sleeping,

"Didn't know the crocodile was awake," Smith says,

"I said something doesn't mean you should reply, scumbag," Mike replied

"What did you say?" Smith behaves angry,

"Break it up guys," the boss says in a low tone, "we have an important part to play in us getting out of here,"

E scratched his head and looked at Ray, "Ray, check out the corridor, any toy. And call our new friend, it's time,"

Ray walked out pretending to be in a relaxing mood into the corridor. He yawns and walks some steps in front and knocks on Kayden's apartment, after a few knocks her husband comes out, dark-skinned with a big chest and bulky arms, "I'm Jim, doing this for my wife,"

"C'mon we have but little time for introductions,"

Ray took him into Easton's apartment and made him face the whole crew, "his name is Jim, and he has to join us," Easton says, "any questions for our new guy?'

Everyone seems to be comfortable with Jim except Mike, "hey, why hasn't anyone countered as you did with me,"

"Because he has a reason, you don't," Smith says,

"Who said I don't have a reason? My money is important to me," Mike behaves funny picking his nose into Smith's face

"Shut up guys we're 20 minutes short," E said looking at his wristwatch,

"That's why we have to cut one person out like cancer," Smith says

"In a single file," Boss ordered,

Everyone walked out and crossed one after another unto the other wall of the corridor. E was first on the line and boss last. The rest stuck in-between the middle, "this way," E said pointing left. They all walked to the first place spotted on the map. First heaven, "this is the best we got, but it would take too long for people to arrive here on time,"

Mike taps E and says, "I know a place in heaven for something like this,"

"Mike, I'm serious no joking this time,"

"No joking, I want out like everyone else," Mike switched and took the first spot while Rob seconded and E third, then the rest followed behind.

"We aren't believing this gambler and a thief," Smith says,

"Do you have a better idea," E turned around and looked at Smith. HE > Smith < kept shut the whole time, "thought as much," Mike says. He led them to a spot in the third heaven, in the second heaven, behind all coffins they found a large space untouched, "this is what we're talking about, "hey guys why haven't we encountered any robots yet," Jim asked. Ray answered with confidence and authority, "oh newbie, all robots have gone for refiled and it takes two hours, they're most likely to begin work by 6 in the morning,"

"Help me," E stretched his hands to move a hearse, "woo heavy," Mike tries to lend a hand

"What's this?" Mike said,

"A coffin that fits other coffins. A hearse," E said and Mike removes his hands immediately, "Are they dead bodies in there or superstitious beliefs," Jim asked,

Smith says, "well, there're some people Norman respect enough to give them the honor of rusting inside a coffin,"

"Norman has caused enough wanton destruction to put him behind bars if this works out," Rob said,

E said, "look man, I don't think so, and don't ask me why because I don't have to prove it,"

"Something's just off about this whole thing," Mike said, "I mean why hasn't he shown yet,"

"Are you waiting for him?" Rob asked,

"No, just saying, I mean a man of such caliber and intelligence is so dormant until right now," Mike said

"Because you guys are too careful, I guess," Mike said

"As long as I hate hearing Mike say a word I think he's got a point," Smith says, "but guys don't you think we are walking into a trap? I mean he's just letting us do whatever we want,"

"We just being careful that's all," E said,

"Murphy was more careful," Rob says,

"The Murphy's case is different, he violated the law," E says,

"And what are we doing? Playing along or what?" Mike said, "my guts tell me that genius is planning something for all of us,"

"Maybe he wants us to walk right into it other than pursue. Same Thing he did to Murphy," Smith says

"Then we play the military Patten," the boss said laughing, "when someone's following you what do you do for confirmation,"

E, Rob, and Smith chorused, "we round the bend four times then appear in front,"

Jim said, "honestly I don't know what that means,"

E said, "that's why you're behind and we are in front. Follow carefully,"

"We start the investigation tomorrow," the boss said, "Rob and E you're in charge of that investigation,

"Are you throwing me out completely," Ray said, "I'm always the one walking with E on issues like this,"

"Not like you're direct military, CIA," Smith says,

"The boss has spoken, you should know better oppose Ray," Rob says,

"Chill Ray, you'll have your chance," E said,

"Not like anyone need my opinion,"

"Alright, E mark the place and let officer Flynn know about it,"

"Alright," E takes out a permanent marker he got from the construction store and draws a big x, this will do, "ahh,"

"That's enough let's be going," the boss said,

"Everyone walked out through the threshold except Mike who has mischievously took out the marker from E's side pocket, "hey are we just gonna leave this sweetheart here untouched," Mike ran and stood beside the glass wall,

"What sweetheart are you talking," E said,

"Are you serious?" Mike twisted his lips outwards, "this…should I call it awesome glass wall waiting for us to ruin in it,"

"I told Holland I'd be dropping a sign at the east wall,"

"Yeah, this is the east wall but this," he points at the X sign, "is not a sign," he opens the marker, "this is a sign," Mike starts Writing total thrash on the glass wall,

"What?" Easton pressed his pockets and the marker had already gone, "you took out the marker. Why?"

"Well, I want to have fun once in five years and Ray here brought about the idea, said Rob told him about it,"

"You want to write thrash on the wall as a way of having fun," the boss said,

"I agree," E says, "if Rob knows about it, then Smith is involved,"

"Let's get this thrash over with," the boss said, "hahaha," they all laughed and hopped around towards the spacious glass wall, "woo," everyone enjoyed their moment with one maker

After the crash party, all the boys and E along with the boss had gathered in their section, "woo this morning was absolute," Mike said,

"Don't ever disturb a high-tier operation," the boss said,

"The last time I checked you wrote more crab than I did,"

"Seriously, are you talking to your boss thataway,"

"I'm not in the military, but I'm quite certain having fun is allowed everywhere even in the military," Mike says

"Hey guys," E cut the whole team,

"What?" Everyone chorused,

"Who else saw that Smith and Mike finally resolve their disputes yesterday,"

"A yes to that," Ray said, "it's funny how Smith held him on the waist while hopping,"

"New relationship in heaven," Rob said as Smiths turned around and covered his face, "I'm shy,"

"Or you're blushing," Rob said,

"Early this morning was much fun activated, when will we be going for a mission like that,"

"I don't know much about the mission thing," Ray said, "but I'm sure the next one would be exquisite,"

"Alright, enough with the enjoyment," the boss said, "we have to revise our work, break out is scheduled for two days,"

"A Lot can happen in two days. This is our last feast together," Ray said, "Jesus called it the last supper,"

"Yeah, Ray is right but after the supper, the real work started," Smith said

"If anyone of remains after the great war emerges burn the bodies," the boss said,

"A line from an old Roman empire," Rob said. Rob robbed his hands together and said, "we all know our roles I'm sure, but where does our new homie, Jim, comes in," Rob said

"He already has an ultimate task," E smiled, "he already has to take his 3 months pregnant wife out of here,"

"That's more work than all of us got to do," Ray said.

Mrs. Peters had reported Ria taking Norman Jnr out for a walk in heaven later today and Ria was banned for a week. The doors are locked with an authentic passcode based on Norman's electronic brain. Ria had been in her room for a week. After wasting much strength trying to find the weak link on the steel door, she finally stops and sleeps silently on her bed. Not long Norman was done with his work in technology and decided to return home, "hey honey are you there," he types in the code and the door opens, "of course, you won't go see baby Easton today,"

"Who said E is a baby?" Ria just waking from her slumber tells Norman,

"Well, he acts like one,"

"It's not long until you get drowned in heaven along with your toys,"

"You should take an example from the story of Satan when he decided to fight God in heaven," Norman smiled, "he got thrown out at the end,"

"Funny but Easton isn't Murphy and you have no right to throw him out,"

"That's your take, not mine. If I see it fit he leaves,"

"You're afraid," Ria jumped out of the bed, ran to his usual spot behind the deck, and looked him in the eye, "your dead brain has calculated the math and it's against you. You know for sure if you keep letting me see E we'll win that's why you cut out the connection to buy yourself time,"

"Always clever, but I can deal with clever," Norman said, "I've told you this before," Norman sighs, "where you think you're wisdom ends that were mine begins,"

"You'll be so surprised what's coming for you this time,"

"Which part? The one where you'll be escaping in two days or…

Ria's heart sliced in half as she stood up carefully and dumped herself on the bed, "you're so pathetic,"

"An extra one to your account, I get it," Norman said, "I know about everything that's going on. So, let me ask you one more time, which part do you want to hear about the plan,"

The day's job was over and everyone went to their apartment as discussed. The last night apart. Ray walks into his apartment and finds it untidy. He holds his chest and looks for who is responsible. Then turns around to the extreme left and sees Rob and Easton standing quietly, "what are you guys doing here,"

"You tell me," Rob said, "you never told us you had computers and numerous notes,"

Ray stood for a while then said with a shaky voice, "I'm a technician, I just finished one. I was about to tell the team, is that enough,"

"Yeah," E took out the computer and went to the message section, "except the messages are from two years ago, even before I came,"

"The dude wasn't smart enough to delete his messages," Rob said,

"Look man, I can explain," Ray walked closer and tried reasoning with them, "I never meant any of this. Please I don't want to be cut out from the team like cancer,"

"We don't need traitors man," E said, "you hid real tight. You know it clicked in my brain when you said 'A Lot can happen in two days' a famous line from the rumor monger,"

"Didn't expect such a person to be this close,"

"I'll do anything to keep the spot,"

"You sold us out man. You've traded every last piece of your spot" Rob yelled, "what do you want to fix,"

"What I broke,"

"It's too late," E said being calm, "I guess Smith was right when he said you're no military, just CIA. And I don't like CIA,"

"Please," Ray said,

"Goodbye, Ray," E said, "do well to keep reporting to your old boss. But let him know plans changed,"
