"First rule: Do not touch me without my consent..."
"Wait up, when you say 'touch' you mean sexually?" He said and let his eyes roam on her with a sly smile. She blushed furiously, snapping at him.
"You are a pig!" She said and he shrugged.
"I think I am more of a vampire" He grinned showing her his white long sharp canines.
She frowned. This was not a reaction to have with someone you hate. She cleared her throat.
"I mean, drink my blood, and yeah, touch me sexually as well. I guess you'll have to touch me occasionally if you train me but do not take advantage of it. Also, be truthful, I don't want lies and deceits" She said and he nodded producing a dagger.
"Is that all?"
"I think" She said dubiously and he smiled, walking towards her.
"I also have a few rules. Do not disrespect me openly, do not scream at me, do not attempt to kill me in public, I think you know what being a slave is, so keep your head lowered whenever I am around and just be yourself when we are alone and out of unwanted earshot. Failure to respect these rules might lead you to a punishment you won't like and vice-versa" With that, he sliced through his palm, handing her the blade. She breath deep and cut through her palm, letting the blood trickle.
He grabbed her hand and shook it, the blood mixing up, falling into a cup she had just realized he was holding. Once his wound had completely healed, he took the cup away, bringing her palm to his lips.
"I said not to drink from me..."
"Calm down, I am healing your wound" He said and she yanked her hand away.
"I can do that myself!" He sighed and brought that cup to her lips. She eyed it with a disgusted expression and he pushed it closer to her face.
"Just take a sip, or even a lick will do and leave the rest to me" He said and she indeed took a sip, gagging.
He silently brought the cup, emptying it's content before smiling at her. Not the kind of smile like he was happy of his win, more of knowing something she didn't. He burst out laughing, a cynical and self satisfied laughter. An ominous feeling grew in the pit of her stomach. His laughter finally died down and he smiled cunningly at her.
"Did you know you were easier to manipulate than I thought." He said and her heart skipped a beat, he walked closer to her, trapping her between his body and the window.
"What do you mean?" She stuttered looking at his hellish grey eyes and the unholy smirk on his face.
"Just that this was not really a blood pact." He said and her eyes widened.
A blood pact was made between two people by learning a spell they will perform during the formation of the formation of the pact. But none of them said a word, leading her to the only next conclusion.
"You were enslaving me!"
"You are right, so that means..." He trailed giving her time to realize it. Her eyes widened, slowly filling with tears.
That means all her conditions were void and needn't to be respected. Moreover, only his conditions will take effect. He only needed to drink her blood to enslave her but the fact she drank his only confirmed the slavery bond, making it even stronger! She was totally stupid, and doomed.
She smiled bitterly. And she claimed she was a witch. He had total and completely power over her. She had been tricked like a child. How could she trust someone who placed a sword on her throat threatening to kill her is she didn't tell how she trespassed his territory? How could she forget that episode? Or the fact he tortured her to accept hos proposal.
"Oh don't feel bad. If it can help, you are one of only people for whom I had to go through this much hassle to enslave. You are smart really, just that I am smarter than your are" He said and burst out laughing towards the end. He glided towards her and she suddenly felt all the hairs on her skin rise. He chuckled at her reaction, leaning down towards her. "You know, since it was rather fun tricking you, I'll try to respect your conditions, and I will not deceive you anymore and tell you the truth, or should I say, I'll try. Make sure you recuperate correctly, we won't be around for long" He said and turned away, walking towards the door with a triumphant smirk.
She gritted her teeth as he opened the door, but just when he was about to leave through the door, he gave her a small smile.
"Also, you can mess this room up, the 'slaves' will clean it up" He burst into laughter as though he heard a joke she hadn't and shut the door. Adaliah waited for a minute before crying out, throwing the tray holding her food at the door, then flipping her bed over. She was too angry to actually realize her strength and later threw the cupboard towards the wall, breaking two of it's legs. She threw the chest the held her clothes at another wall, forming both a dent in the wall and shattering the chest, scattering her clothes all across the room.
Breathing like a bull, she stomped towards one clothes, picking it to tears it into shreds when she halted, crumbling to the floor, and crying.
She was already obeying his orders, going just what he was saying. She sobbed into the dress she'd wanted to tear off. She hated herself for being so weak. If she had been strong, she would have broken out of this place with Vera, sparing her a painful death.
She looked at the ceiling. She missed her mother so badly. She wanted to see her again. She wanted her to hold her in her hands and tell her it would be fine and that they will find a solution. She smiled bitterly. No body could save her from this bond except herself so all she had to do was kill him.
Her eyes lit up. If his conditions would be respected that meant she had the right to try and kill him. He said he would teach her...
She sighed. What told her he would actually teach her? He had tricked her once, he could be tricking her in every single thing. But on the other hand, with her magic reduced, she was totally useless to a vampire, unless he had a house full of human slaves she had to cure. So he at least had to help her regain her magic so that she could be useful. If she was to be used as a blood bag or as a sexual slave he would have done so earlier. He surely needed her obedience and maybe her power.
She smiled bitterly again. Maybe she was giving it too much thought or maybe she should just brazenly go to his room and ask him directly.
She walked towards the door briskly. She didn't remember hearing the sound of a lock. Grabbing the handle, she pulled opened the door, smiling to herself. It was opened! Leaving her room as silently as possible, she shut the door silently turning to roam around in the castle.
"You got over it faster than I expected" Said a masculine voice a cold dagger on her throat. Her heart missed a beat. Could it be Dan?
