Leon said to Hueg in a concerned tone."Brother Hueg, can you tell me what you know about Enayet's History?"

"Of course, I will. And just to remind you this information we got is from an undercover agent that we had planted," Hueg's face showed pity."But that guy seems to sacrifice himself to let some young ones escape despite having the chance to complete."

"Brother, Is that undercover's name Roger?" Leon could only find Roger who matched Hueg's description.

"Your brother seems to have told you about him I see, then I don't need no further explanation," Hueg then started to say about Enayet's past. "Roger when he came to this place undercover, he had the chance to meet Enayet's mother before Enayet was born. From the reports that Roger sent these past years, he mentioned that Enayet's mother, Emy was the kindest and pure-hearted person in the village or maybe in the places in the world."

Hueg looked at Enayet."One day a man came named Greg. He was here for business and he also seems to be somewhat wealthy. Greg had a pure and kind heart like Emy. Greg fell in love with Emy at first glance, so he pursued her many times. Eventually, he captured her heart and many people's too with his kind nature."

"Then one day they got married, they were the happiest and most beautiful couple the village has witnessed. They went on like this for three years, at which time Emy also got pregnant. Roger didn't know why Greg didn't leave after his marriage so he became suspicious but his investigation got zero results. It seemed like Greg was in deep love with Emy and Roger further believed him because of his next action."

"Greg proposed to the village to give all their money so that he can use it to develop and further enhance the village's strength. Everyone agreed because the people here were actually getting bullied and abused by outsiders, mostly merchants. So after taking the villagers' money he went to a nearby city. The villagers waited for days then weeks then months but they didn't see Greg show up and with no money in reserve, you should what happened."

Leon said with a bitter smile."They got hit hard by merchants."

Hueg smirked."They indeed got hit hard. To make up for the money they increased the prices of many things and they got backlashed. But the ones who suffered most were Emy and his father. Her father lost his position as the village elder and she suffered all the blame and guilt. After Enayet was born the village started to suffer more so they started calling him devil spawn or curse."

Leon now found out why they all called him that. 'It seems a little cruel.'

Hueg then further explained."Emy couldn't take it after hearing everyone cursing her son. She was about to go berserk but Mia and Enayet's smiles kept her sane. The thing that kept her most sane was her father. Her stoic and strict father had a smile on his face after Enayet was born. Ahhh...A baby's smile sure can melt a cold-hearted man's heart."

"But her mentality was getting worse as she was piling up all the blame and guilt for the next three years. Then one day she committed suicide after stabbing her heart. Her father started taking care of Enayet but his days were also coming to end. Her father then died of old age."

Hueg then gave a bitter smile."Then Roger after investigating for while found who Enayet's father was. It was one of Joppa's men."

Leon said in disbelief."Brother are you telling the truth!?"

"Yes, why would I lie to you and don't believe Roger?" Hueg questioned him back.

"You are right. Why would Roger make this up?" Leon also started to understand he was being too much.

"Anyway, that Greg was sent by Joppa to the village to loot their money and for another reason. That reason is by taking all the villagers' money, they can freely do whatever they want to do with the village. Because if they have that much money, the villagers can't gather that together and release a mission to the adventurers. So basically, after emptying all that money, they can do whatever they want now."

"But your sudden intervention let them to misunderstand and made chaos among them." Hueg smiled at Leon. "Also those adventurers were also a bonus to their problem."

Leon became embarrassed. Crayola glanced at him with a new light.

Hueg said."That Greg was also in the raid tonight and he may have died to anybody without knowing anything about his son, like a corpse of a nobody."

Hueg then looked at Enayet and sighed in pity."Ahhhhh.."

Leon also looked at Enayet and saw a tear seem to be silently dropping from the corner of his eyes.

Leon was about to say something but Crayola wiped about Enayet's tear.

Crayola looked down at Enayet's sleeping sleep and smiled. She caressed his face and said."What a beautiful soul !"

Leon looked up and silently mourned.

Hueg suddenly said from the side."Your lucky kid, your little brother lost his mother, grandfather, uncle, and his sister in the end. If he didn't meet you, there could have been another Hik."

"Yes." Leon agreed quietly.

Taph

Hueg gave a light slap on Leon's back."Cheer up kid, you are gonna arrive in front of his highness tomorrow. Don't be gloomy."

"Highness?" Leon was confused."Where are we going?"

"We are gonna arrive at Burnout City, Earl Mason's kingdom. And that's where our highness is currently residing."

"And someone was supposed to be always by her side." Crayola suddenly chipped in.

"Hey, don't blame me. I am doing my mission and her highness will be alright beside Earl Mason." Hueg nonchalantly said.

"But what if something happens?"

Hueg smirked at Crayola."If anything happens to her highness, forget about me who might do anything, His sire Duke Voldsom would raise hell."

"Maybe you are right. I am thinking too much," Crayola then smirked back at Hueg."Still, I hate you."

"Hey, lady. Where did that come from?" Hueg had his eyes wide open.

"Shhhh," Crayola shushed him."Quiet a child is sleeping."

"But."

"Shhhh."

As Hueg and Crayola were nitpicking with each other, Leon shut his eyes down. 'I hope they shut up quickly.'

Gradually he went to sleep even while hearing their small talks.
