Chapter 9

I'm surprised that I didn't get in trouble for what I was wearing. You know because of school rules, but I guess I can slide judging by the way other girls dress.

I wasn't even near halfway done when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in." I say my back facing the door with me bending over.

"Yet again a nice view." The person says. I look back and see its Jordan. I turn back around and keep doing what I was doing before.

"Do you need something" I say putting bottles of cleaning stuff on the shelves.

"Nope I just came to help." He says.

"That's alright I can do it by my-" I say but he cuts me off.

"I wasn't asking, I was telling you" he says getting to work.

"Ok if you say so." I retort back.

Cleaning out the closet took longer than the lunch period, but I'm sure we could get a pass back to class.

"Alright that's the last of it." I say wiping my hands off while turning around.

Hmmp. I had bumped into Jordans chest and was falling to ground. I tensed my muscles so the impact to the ground wouldn't hurt as much, but I never hit the ground. Instead Jordan caught me just before I could hit the ground. You would think that I would have amazing balance since I was a dancer but truth is that I'm very clumsy.

Jordan looked like he was about to go into a split with me hanging in his arms.

I burst out laughing cause us to fall to the floor completely. Jordan was still on top of me and I was still laughing. Jordan stared at me the whole time I was laughing making me calm down and get uncomfortable from his gaze.

I looked anywhere but his eyes feeling my throat get tight. He moved my face up causing me to look him dead in the eyes. Dang it.

He slowly leaned down to my face and kissed me. My first kiss. I know stupid right? To me it's not. Nobody ever came up to me to ask me out or anything, so I wasn't really experienced in kissing. And the one earlier doesn't even count. That was for payback.

I was kissing back but after a while I put my hands on his chest pushing him away.

"I'm sorry" he said panicking.

"It's okay. I...I..just....I um" I said stuttering. "It was just my first kiss I said looking down.

" Really?" He asked. "You've never kissed anybody?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows. " Pero, you kissed me the other day." He said.

" Not really. That doesn't count unless you count my siblings." I said biting my lip.

"Don't do that." He said. I looked at him confused.

"Don't do what?" I ask finally looking at him.

"Don't bite your lip. It's turning me on." He says looking in my eyes. I couldn't help but bite my lip again.

He groaned and leaned in again kissing me rough this time. I kiss back just a rough. I don't know what it was but something just attracted me to him and I couldn't help myself. He was starting to unzip my top and I had my hands running around his body.

" Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked slipping off my shoulder straps.

" Yes." I said clinging to his body.

"Yes what?" He asked.

"Yes, I want you." I said taking off his shirt. GOSH D*MN. He was ripped.

In a matter of minutes my clothes was off and we were only in our underwear.

I quickly put on my clothes and straighten out my hair and clothes.

Grabbing my bag and leaving Jordan in the closet by himself. Even though school is not over yet I still go to my car drive off.

Alright, first I need to calm down. I was doing breathing exercises while speeding down the road to home.

When I get in the parking lot I rush to my room taking off my shoes.

Pacing back and forth thinking about how I was going to talk to him from this day forward.

Oh gosh. Why am so stupid? What was I thinking? Was I even good? Stop. I need to stop thinking. I grab some clothes and my towel and rag and head to the bathroom. I was in the shower for an hour before the water ran cold, so I got dressed and got ready to pick up my siblings from school.

I start up my car and head to the elementary school first. I dropped my siblings off at home and headed to work. I work Monday through Friday after school from 4 to 7:30.

When I get to work I park in the back just in case Jordan came looking for me. I was busying my mind by taking on more orders than I usually do. I had a good number of tips by the end of the day with no run-ins with Jordan.

I was taking off my apron when Marco called for me.

"Sage, somebody's here for you." He said.

"Okay, give me a moment." I said grabbing my things and clocking out.

I walk through the kitchen to see who wanted me and regretted it. I quickly turned around and was about to run off before he had called my name.

"Yes...yes?"I asked not turning to see him.

"Why do you keep running away?" he asks, "Was I that bad Mami?" I turn around quickly and shut his mouth with my hands.

"Shhhhh, why are you so loud?" I say looking at him like he was crazy.

"I was just asking" he says with my hands still over his mouth.

"Let's talk somewhere else." I say pulling him through the back door. When we were by my car I let his mouth go.

"What do you want?" I say making sure nobody is around us.

"I just wanted to say sorry, again. I don't think either of us was in the right mind." He said.

"You d*amn right. We were not in the right mind." I say unlocking my car door and getting in rolling down the window so he can say what he has to say and leave.

"Look," he says putting his arm on the car door. ," Since I feel that your uncomfortable, let's forget about everything and start over. Bueno?"

"Okay. We are only friends and that's it. Nothing more nothing less." I said and drove off.
