Chapter 19

1 week later

It was the first day of school and I had a nice sized baby bump forming. I don't know if my smell was changing, but I'm a month and a half pregnant so I don't know if they would be able to smell me.

I threw away the wig that my dad gave me and got a lace front. It looked way much more natural, so I'll be using lace fronts for now.

I have officially been gone for 2 and a half weeks. I don't know how Jordan is doing, but from what dad and Cability says he should be back to normal.

Cachire is still staying in my room, but he been doing a lot better.

I get up early brushed my teeth and washed my face.

I put on an all-black outfit. A dress with leggings.

I put on my wig and touched up my face. I did my eyebrows, put on mascara, eyeliner, and tinted lip gloss.

After getting dressed I put on my clear contacts grabbed my bookbag and phone and left.

I make sure I lock the door behind me before going to the elevator.

I got a temporary MetroCard so I wouldn't have to keep paying in change to get on the bus.

After waiting for the bus to arrive I get on and take a seat.

By the time I graduate I should have a month before I give birth to my baby. I'm so happy and I can't wait.

After I get off the bus I take my phone out to get directions to the school I was supposed to be going to. It took me 20 minutes to get there since I was taking my time.

I walked up to the school gate and straightened out my outfit. I lift my head up higher and continued to walk into the school.

I didn't have time to look around at my surrounds because I was too busy looking at the school map on my phone so I wouldn't get lost.

After a while I found my way to the office and received my schedule. They were already informed of my situation, so they made the schedule to my liking.

The bell rung signaling that 1st period was starting. I look at my schedule to see what classes I have.

1st- Calculus

2nd- AP Chem

3rd-AP Lit &Comp

4th-World Geography

Lunch Break

5th- Culinary Arts

6th- Free period

7th- Computer Technology/ Photography Film

Math it is then. I look at the school map again and look for the teacher's class.

Five minutes later I knock on the door of the class I was already supposed to be in.

"Come in." The teacher said.

I walk in and hand him my schedule.

"You must be the new student?" He asks giving me my schedule back.

"Please introduce yourself to the class." He asked.

I turn to the class and see everybody staring at me. Might as well tell everyone I'm pregnant and get it over with.

" Hi, I'm Carter Dean and if you can't see me clearly I'm pregnant." I say nervously.

"You can sit down now Ms. Dean." The teacher said.

I walk to the back of the class and sit down in the desk that's in the corner.

Every class I've been in so far I have introduced myself and told everyone I was pregnant. I wanted to start off at my new school good.

I guess nobody wanted to be friends because no one even said anything.

Now it was lunch time. I had packed me a lunch the night before because now I'm on a strict pregnancy diet for a while.

I packed me milk, sauteed chicken, broccoli, and mashed potatoes.

I sit down at an empty table and eat my food.

"Hi, I heard you're the new girl?" A girl asked. I look up from my food with my mouth full. I just nod.

"Have you made any friends?" She asked. I swallow the rest of my food before answering.

"No. Nobody has come up to talk to me yet beside you." I say taking another bite of my food.

" It's because when they heard you were pregnant they didn't want to get beat up by an overprotective mate." She said sitting down in front of me. This must be an all-wolves school since she talks so freely about things.

"I don't have a mate. Or at least I don't think so." I say.

" What do you mean? Everyone has a mate. Wait, I thought you were human?" She said. I shake my head before answering.

" Nope. I'm just like everybody else that's listening to our conversation." I said taking another bite of my food.

" So why do you smell like a human?" She asked.

"That's for me to know and you to find out." I say getting up to throw my trash away.

" Well I'm going to find out." She said finally eating.

" We'll see about that." I say laughing.

After a while the 5th period bell that tells us that lunch is over sounded off.

" Well I'll see you later." The girl whose name I learned was Skyler said walking away.

"Okay" I answered.

I finish the next class in a breeze. I was now walking towards my tech. class. I thought I should get a head start on everything with my free period.

I always loved computer programming and building. It was just a hobby, but it can take up my whole day.

I used to love to edit YouTube videos of me and Cachire dancing.

We had a YouTube channel where we hid our faces with only our eyes showing and we danced our own choreographed dance.

We had a good amount a views, but it wasn't a lot. Maybe 200k viewers and 70k subscribers.

Me and Cachire had a plan to make it to the millions. I thought that if I couldn't make it financially by myself then being a YouTuber was going to be my backup plan. Now that was on a very long pause. I didn't think I'd be introduced into a new world and for it all to change.

After class I didn't bother to go to my locker and went home. I took my shoes off at the door and head to my room. It's kind of my habit since my dad is Asian. I don't know how I got away with it this whole time.

School gets out at 3 o'clock here so I have to wake up more early than usual.

Three more months and school will be over with.

Walking into the kitchen I take out some meat and prepare to make chicken alfredo. Just the thought of it makes my mouth water.

After eating I take my shower and go to bed. I hope the next three months go my way.
