Jack

Kamari pull the front door carefully so it won't make any noise, while she step her first foot inside and looked around if there could be any sign of her grandma, she observed it was clear, she shot her bedroom is far from the staircase, she quickly dashes to the laundry room and changed into her morning cloths, although she had taken a fresh shower with Jack before heading home, well the gold imprinted necklace KAM dangles as she puts on her dress alongside with her flip flops she smile touching it.

it is so beautiful she commented on it again, she quickly pull the door to her surprise her parents and grandma screamed surprise!!!! Her face lit up she looks so surprised than anyone because first of all her parents are there they sounded like they weren't coming to Nigeria based on their meet and greet FC, while she grip the door handle she use her other free hand to cover her mouth.

"Omg!!!!" Kamari screamed her mum quickly hugged her alongside her dad grandma had to take a quick picture with a phone and then later took a selfie.

"Omg this is so much" Kamari couldn't contain herself as they head to grandma's dining, she must've skipped it, a beautiful orange color layered cake, wines, food trays, and boxed gifts, first it was grandma who hand her a gift.

"You have always been my baby KAM KAM and I want you to know I will always love you no matter what. Congratulations my baby" she said, Kamari is so excited about having their large boxes of gifts.  her parents gift her as well,

"Can I open them right now I cannot wait" she asked the three of them at once.

"First of all you need to cut the cake honey" her mum helped passed the knife tied in ribbon.

"Sure honey," her dad said while holding her mum in his arms, grandma was the photographer Kamari wished they had hired a Camara man she wanted her in all the videos.

Her grandma gave her a box full of cash Kamari didn't know the amount she was dead right it was lots of money.

"Grandma!!!!" She screamed going to hug her, her parents smiled as well Kamari's mum sniffled,

"That's my part of helping in your company, use it for either lab research or packaging whatever my baby," grandma said making it known she indeed supported her in her aspiring lip gloss company,

Tears slowly drip down her cheek this is so kind of grandma, she went on to open her mum's, with camera full set of cameras and lights, Kamari excitedly ran and hugged her mum.

"For shootings and documenting your creation, I see how you usually sketch lipgloss bottles and notes about your products honey I'm in full support of it, I love you" Kamari sunk her face in her palms her dad as well placed a comforting hand on her, the room getting so intense and emotional.

She went ahead to open her dad's flight ticket to Dubai for vacation, Kamari screamed jumping all over the place, grandma and her mum looked surprised wasn't hers good enough to make her jump so bad, teenagers love Dubai trips more than their own life they can sell their soul.

"Thanks, dad" she hugged her dad, they all hugged each other with so much love, she blew out the candles.

HAPPY GRADUATION!!!!!!

Kamari had a good breakfast with her family she didn't know if it was grandma or if they decide to come, while they cleaned up all place almost late afternoon, dad was in the living room watching the news headlines about politics he's always Twitting replying and responding to politics, he sometimes hosts space where all kinds of Twitter users come together to discuss, is usually fun although Kamari doesn't seem to understand what they say anyways he's dad must tag her anyways always one step ahead to support her dad.

Kamari's mum chooses to do the dishes while Kamari herself put all the trash into the trash bag, and grandma preserves leftovers.

"Kamari honey" her mom called she quickly turns from the trash stacking and gave her full attention although grandma act like she wasn't listening.

"Yeah," she said scratching something from on top of her nose,

"First of all I wanna thank mum for really taking care of you, it baffles me how the two of you get along I thought of the worst-

"C'mon doesn't think your baby girl is like you, I never told you this, your mama gave me headaches you're nothing like her she's cool" grandma complimented Kamari chuckle, she always praises her regardless.

"I wanna say I love you and your dad too, work is demanding 9-5 doesn't change how we feel about you, I know you anyways wanted to live on your own once you turn eighteen-

"Honestly mum I already paid for an apartment, is a new avenue listed two weeks ago a gift I got myself-

"What!!!! You paid your rent" her grandma cut in so surprised. Her mum is happy and at the same time felt she will lose her daughter.

"Yes grandma I'm no longer a kid I'm a full adult taking responsibility is part of me now, I just want to have my privacy, work, and do my breakfast myself-

"You don't know how to do breakfast except pouring milk into cereal that ain't actual breakfast," Kamari's mum said hoping her daughter wasn't serious.

"Mum!!" Kamari called, and both her mum and grandma arch their eyebrows.

"I know,  Khloe is a good cook-

"Both of you are staying together?

"Who the hell is Khloe"

Kamari didn't know which one to answer first.

"I'm going to be fine mum" she resumed her trash stacking seems like they just figured out the necklace, and her mum went closer to get a proper glimpse of it.

"This cost a fortune" she felt the weight, and Kamari slowly takes her hands off shoving them into her dress.

"Honey you need to be careful how you spend your money there is a whole business plan ahead of you plus now you got your house bills are going to be a little bit more for you, this isn't putting gas into your car is a fully loaded responsibility" her grandma advised, her mum didn't say anything because she is guilty of the same life.

"How much did you get it, and mum she has her name imprinted KAM is cute" her mum's first statement referred to Kamari then the last part of her mum.

"I didn't get it, Jack gave it to me-

Just as they were talking her dad came over saying there is a boy here by the name of Jack, Kamari immediately dropped everything she was doing and dash out of the kitchen her mum opening her palm in confusion.

"Who's Jack's mum," she asked her mum to continue the trash stacking Kamari had dumped earlier.

"Her boyfriend," she said so flatly, Kamari's mum laughed.

"Kamari got a boyfriend, wow y'all keep surprising me, mum-

She asked then immediately cut in before her mum could.

"Omg is that reason she didn't come home last night-

"You can't be certain Jack wasn't the only one present she had other friends-

"Cut it mum stop fucking defending her you know she was with a boy-

"Nope" her mom answered helping her daughter dry up the plates.

"How could you let her have a boyfriend is risky for her future this isn't the right time-

"She's happy with him dear, at least Kamari lets us know you hid yours over a year-

"Stop mum, that was a long time ago at least I married him not like I had multiple boyfriends" she defended herself.

"Let her feel love and I'm sure Jack Is a good boy as well with so many dreams-

"You quite know a lot about this Jack not gonna argue so much with you because you are quickly in a position to give privileges to people as soon as you like them-

"Not necessarily,  is just that they did a beautiful victory fight at school, they are just a good match, Kamari is so happy and that's what matters don't ruin that you had done more damage than good leave her alone" grandma Susie blushed talking about it.

Both Kamari's mum and her grandma finally finish up from the kitchen only to find Kamari's dad sneak looking through the blinds and watching Jack and Kamari.

Kamari's mum quickly joins to watch her husband giving her room so she can as well see clearly.

"That's not fair you guys" grandma Susie admitted.

"Really mum, she's just seventeen," Kamari's dad said glancing at Susie and then going back looking, Kamari's mum kept looking without interfering.

"If you guys have a problem with that y'all should speak to her about it is wrongdoing this to her"

"You mean we can talk to her about it" Kamari's mum finally asked no longer looking from the window including her husband.

"Only if you don't feel comfortable with her dating, just so you know I'm not gonna interfere-

"Even if she gets pregnant"? Her dad finally admitted his fears.

"Honey are you scared of babies"? His wife asked freaking out

"No I'm just asking your mum simply think is okay Kamari dates-

"Kamari is our daughter we have the right if she dates or not I mean...

She paused that came out so raw.

"Do you?" Susie asked they didn't respond.

"Both of you stop acting like kids KAM KAM is your daughter you barely know half of her life in Kingston high Jack makes her happy I wasn't even a quarter happy when I started dating this is beautiful"

Kamari walks in.

"Are you guys seriously talking about me" Kamari snapped, and both of her parents became mute, they didn't say a word.

"Mum, dad what's going grandma" Kamari muttered each of their names.

"Listen, honey, we all think-

"Speak for yourself I'm up in my room," grandma said as she left the living.

"Jack right?" Kamari asked her father stood up went close to her and hugged her she kinda release herself.

"Just a day in my life and you guys think is right to dictate and tell me how to live my life and where are you guys so close to the window-

She glared for few a minutes realizing her parent had been watching her and Jack.

"I cannot believe this" she storms to her room. Her mum gasped, and her dad's look simply shows he feels guilty.

"That's so wrong" her mum pushed the blame on him.

"What!!!! We both were looking" he defended himself.

"If it weren't for you we won't be in this mess my mum was right-

"Seriously you're blaming me for this-

"Who else because if you weren't so serious looking out through that goddamn window, and why will she talk to us like that we are her parents"

They both went over to Kamari's room knocking for her to open up she told them to go away, and her mom apologize including her dad but she refuse to open up.

"She is using her headphone right now we should wait for her during dinner-

"This not my fault" her father still debate on it as they left.

"Is enough already".
