'Just what exactly do you know Leo?'- The same question kept repeating in my head. Could there be a connection? Grandma Mito knew of what happened to Uzushiogakure a few months in advance before it was officially announced in the newspapers.

Leo: "To be a shinobi means to be willing to sacrifice everything for the mission they are assigned, not the people of their respective village. If a mission is abandoned then they will be branded as scum who would abandon their village. But the same can't be said if one abandons their fellow villagers or even their comrades. So let me try asking again what you plan to do. If you want I could lead you off here and back to your village. They might try to kill me though, being a Kumo shinobi and all, heh."

"Why?"- Is all I could blur out, if he takes me back he would be considered rogue in Kumo and Konoha already sees him as a village threat. He is leaving his life behind to help me, but why?

Leo: "Well why not? I said I wanted to know what your plan was since we're pretty similar, dattebane. I'm basically at a standstill with what I want to do with my life, so why not ask for someone else's perspective?" He finished with a smirk.

Tears start to form, when was the last time someone was willing to do such a thing for me if ever?

Whipping the tears from my eyes I didn't know how to respond, "I-I'm sorry, I can't say I figured out what I plan to do yet."

Leo: "Hmm, well if you'd like my current opinion I'd suggest taming your jinchuriki before making any big moves, you're pretty weak as you are now, ya know? Heh"

"But how? Grandma Mito wasn't able to tell me before she passed the nine tails to me."

Leo: "Heh, well lucky you Genbu happens to be such a place where you can tame your jinchuriki, in a sense anyway... No scratch that we can't go straight to taming your tailed beast. let's assess your chances of beating it."

"Beating it? Wait we have to fight it?"

Leo: "Yeah, saying we are taming it is honestly just sugar coating it since we have to beat its chakra out of it. So first what kind of seal do you have?"

"The Eight Trigrams Sealing Style was used to seal the nine tails."

Leo: "Eight Trigrams Sealing Style, huh? Never heard of it."- 'So he doesn't know anything about seals, huh' - " Anyways that's not important what is important is whether you have the key to your seal. well, do you?"

"Yes and no. I have the key just not on me it's in my sealing storage which... Is back in Senju Compound..."

Leo: "Bummer... Anyways we don't need it since I'm built different and can undo it with my Kekkei Genkai."

'Then why ask for it...' - "Your Kekkei Genkai can undo seals?"

Leo: "More or less, what do you know about the (L/N) clan?"

"Only that they have near-perfect chakra control."

Leo: "Really, damn, I was hoping for more. Anyways yeah, we have near-perfect chakra control as a default but those with perfect chakra control can interact with chakra directly or in this case interact with the seal directly. I can't do that but since I'm better, I don't need it."

"You're better? Just based on your attitude I doubt that."

Leo: "Well I am, since we're going to be stuck together for a while let me give you a quick history lesson... I think I'm not too sure on the legitimacy of it since my mom told me it as a bedtime story but I doubt she'd lie to me about it."

"..."

Leo: "Long story short at the end of the previous (L/N) clan's patriarch's life he declared that we wouldn't be tied down to anyone and would live by our own choice. His will lives on after his death and because of it, the (L/N) clan tends to not live in any village directly and just tends to live in rural areas outside of the big villages instead of dedicating themselves to it. Like the main clans of a big village."

"But, what does that have to do with you being able to undo seals? Dattebane." All that and it wasn't a direct answer.

Leo: "These things require context my red-headed friend, our clan's patriarch had the clan Kekkei Genkai where he could materialize his will on others. I have that, so by proxy, I can materialize my will and undo the seal. Pretty nifty huh."

"..."

Leo: "Heh, glad you think so. Anyways we need to clear the first obstacle and that's getting you strong enough to fight the nine tails. Now under normal circumstances, I'd just teach you the black fist technique and call it a day but you have far too much chakra for that so let's instead refine what you already know."

"Wait the black arm technique?"

Leo: " Yeah, like so." He pulls up his sleeve and his arm begins to turn into a metallic black.

"WHAT, WHY CAN'T YOU TEACH ME THAT"

Leo: "I just said you have too much chakra for it. To use it, you need to stupid good control over your chakra, and with your reserves, you won't be mastering it anytime soon. Tsk Tsk Tsk, you Uzumaki and your absurd chakra reserves, both a blessing and a curse. At least you have your strong vitality to fall back on, I guess"

"Can I use my vitality to match that technique?"

Leo: "Pfff, no. Not even close."- 'Man what a letdown.'- " Anyways let's talk about our dreams later for now let's focus on what you're good at... Which is?"

He signals for me to continue.

"I'm talented and knowledgeable in sealing Jutsu I also inherited sealing techniques to seal a tailed beast. With my chakra, I can also materialize Adamantine Sealing Chains. My çhakra natures are Wind, Water, and Yin Release."

Leo seems to be thinking about something, maybe he's seeing my true potential. I can't help but puff my chest out in pride. Until he decides to speak again.

Leo: "That's pretty cool."- 'Oh course, acknowledge my greatness'- " Too bad I'm me since I can't teach you squat since I rely on my chakra control to attack and not much else. Heh."

I fall on my hands and knees dramatically "Of course, it comes down to this."

Leo: "Not to fear this isn't my house, it belongs to the eight tails jinchuriki."- 'How is that a good thing??'- " You see he has water release so I'm sure he has some water release jutsu scrolls around here."

Finally some good news. Feeling a surge of new motivation I'll try and learn what I can so I can make a decision that'll keep Leo-kun's life stable and help me figure out what I plan to do.
