Millions of years after a prophecy was uttered of a destructive hybrid with power to rival its god level ancestors we meet Marcus an arrogant and lazy teenager who has always been skating through life and has always struggled to find his place, but after falling into a mysterious cave he unlocks the power of his ancestors the mysterious "Powers That Were".



Armed with this he will explore the world to end the crisis becoming known as "the rising" and save humanity from the unknown threat behind this catastrophe.



Can he unlock the secret to his destiny or will he fall back into the sidenotes of history?
