Paradise Island, according to legend, was created by the Olympian god Zeus. The island's surrounding area is protected by a magical force field, rendering it undetectable by advanced technology.
From a distance, all that can be seen is an endless ocean. However, as people or ships draw nearer, a dense fog envelops them, causing disorientation. This discourages ordinary individuals from venturing further into the ocean.
The Wave Rider, a small expeditionary escape ship, successfully navigated through the dense fog, revealing a sudden transformation in the scenery. The fog dissipated, unveiling a clear blue sky adorned with layers of white clouds. Underneath the water, the depths were translucent, and an awe-inspiring, picturesque island stood before them.
Distinguished by its towering cliffs and lush, natural ecosystem, the island featured an array of intricate structures when viewed from a distance.
"This is Paradise Island, and the name truly befits this place. It's incredibly beautiful," remarked Sara Lance as she disembarked from the small expeditionary escape ship.
The ship's door opened, and both Sara Lance and Stephen stepped onto the golden sands.
Setting foot on the pristine beach, Stephen smiled contentedly. "I'm starting to develop a fondness for this place. But are you certain about me staying here?"
"I know from my memories that you possess great skills, but the Amazons are no ordinary people. I urge you not to cause any trouble, neither for me nor for yourself. Find a place to hide, and we will return to retrieve you soon," cautioned Sara Lance, conveying the information she had learned about the situation on Paradise Island. Her concern for Stephen's safety outweighed any belief in his potential usefulness.
Considering the circumstances, she didn't anticipate that Stephen could contribute much here. In fact, she worried more about his well-being.
However, this was still Paradise Island, a place that did not welcome male visitors, so kindly.
Observing Sara Lance's earnest warning, Stephen shrugged dismissively. "Enough about me. But mark my words, don't blame me if you regret your decision in the future. It's all up to you."
Sara Lance chuckled and turned away, making her way back toward the ship.
As she watched the small expeditionary escape ship take off and depart, Stephen turned his gaze toward Paradise Island and smiled.
He had always believed that the name "Paradise Island" was incredibly fitting. For the Amazons, it served as a sanctuary, isolated from the outside world and akin to a home—a small paradise of their own. For men, what could be more idyllic than an island inhabited solely by women?
"Should I shout, 'Paradise Island, here I come!' like some anime character?" Stephen contemplated the idea seriously, only to abandon it upon seeing a group of Amazonians approaching him.
Several Amazons wearing helmets and leather armor, armed with bows and arrows, emerged from cliffs tens of meters high. These individuals possessed exquisite features, radiated an air of heroism, and maintained a well-toned physique without a hint of excess fat. Judging by their expressions, they were far from pleased to find a man on their island.
Whoosh, whoosh!
In a sudden flurry of movement, many Amazons leaped off the cliffs. Suspended mid-air, they unleashed a volley of arrows, skillfully embedding them into the cliffs to secure their descent with ropes.
Upon landing, they notched their bows once again, this time aiming vigilantly at Stephen while maintaining a defensive posture.
The entire sequence transpired in less than ten seconds, displaying remarkable fluidity and precision.
The sharp arrows seemed poised to puncture Stephen at any given moment, but he remained unperturbed, observing them with keen interest through his black eyes.
"Hi there," Stephen greeted them with a bright smile.
However, the Amazonians responded with fierce gazes, refusing to acknowledge his presence. Stephen pursed his lips, deeming their behavior truly impolite.
Da Da Da, Da Da Da.
The sound of hooves resounded from a distance as horses galloped toward them, swiftly coming to a halt nearby.
"Queen, how do you propose we deal with this intruder?" an Amazon inquired, directing her question to the woman who stood out from the rest, previously mounted on a white horse.
This woman possessed long golden hair and wore a crown or similar adornment on her forehead, signifying her authority and status. She donned leather armor that exposed her shoulders, with a long, flowing woolen vest layered on top. Her sturdy thighs were visible, and she sported knee-high boots in a dark gold hue.
She was none other than Hippolyta, the Amazon Queen of Paradise Island and the mother of Wonder Woman, Diana.
"Is he alone?" Hippolyta inquired.
"We only found him."
"Bring him back for interrogation."
After uttering those words, Hippolyta prepared to turn her horse around and depart. Meanwhile, someone approached Stephen, ready to escort him away.
"Ahem Can I ride your horse?" Stephen posed a question that left everyone indignant.
Ride the queen's horse?
How dare this intruder make such a demand!
Hippolyta turned her head, a frown creasing her face as she fixed her gaze upon Stephen. "Intruder, are you attempting to provoke me?"
Stephen maintained a friendly smile. "Oh, no, not at all. I simply wanted to experience the feeling of riding a horse. You see, it's not easy to come by such an opportunity outside, and your horse happens to be the most splendid one here. So... Even though I'm neither a prince nor a warrior, I still long to ride a white horse."
"Seize him." Stephen's nonsensical provocation infuriated Hippolyta. However, in order to ascertain whether he had any accomplices, she refrained from having him executed—for the time being.
With that command, the furious Amazonians charged toward Stephen, their demeanor cold and haughty.
"The Legendary Team, I warned you not to regret your decision in the future," Stephen muttered as he crouched down, as if surrendering.
Is he frightened?
The Amazonians, initially seething with anger, couldn't help but sneer. They had assumed he possessed the audacity to provoke their queen, but now it seemed he was nothing more than a coward.
[Unlimited stacking, twenty times.]
Stephen raised his fist and slammed it into the ground.
Boom!
The beach instantly sank, creating a sizable crater, and the tremendous display of power left the nearby Amazons bewildered, knocking them to the ground. Horses whinnied as their riders, including Hippolyta, were forcefully dismounted and collapsed upon impact.
Stephen slowly rose to his feet, retracting his fists. With a soft sigh, he observed the disconcerted faces of the Amazons sprawled before him. "Why did it have to come to this? All I wanted was to ride your horse, not to harm you!"
