Diana's consciousness gradually awakened silently, though she was unsure how much time had passed.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself staring at the familiar ceiling.

"This is my room!" Diana whispered, bewildered. Her body was impeccably clean, and she wore her usual armor. Was her experience before the coma nothing but a nightmare?

As she rose from her seated position, Diana instinctively scanned her surroundings.

Her gaze met Stephen's, who sat nearby, smiling at her.

This isn't a dream!

Diana's anger surged, and she impulsively lunged towards Stephen. However, a rope of bright golden light swiftly flew beside her, entwining her.

"The Golden Lasso." A searing heat enveloped her, causing Diana to collapse weakly onto the ground. She turned her head furiously and noticed Artemis, adorned in silver armor, holding the golden lasso. "Artemis, why have you done this?"

"I won't let you harm the Lord," Artemis stated coldly, devoid of any expression.

Diana glanced at Stephen. "What have you done?"

"Hippolyta and Antiope are still alive, so I'll ask again, will you forgive me?" Stephen didn't answer directly; instead, he posed the question once more. "I'm quite intrigued by you. After all, you're a demigod, forged in steel. I'm genuinely curious about the difference between a mortal woman and a goddess. If you can find it in your heart to forgive me, perhaps we could go on a date and see? And if you agree, I can assist you in vanquishing Ares."

"Never!" Though Diana didn't comprehend the significance of the 'Steel Body,' she clenched her teeth and firmly declined.

"I see!"

Stephen nodded, rising to his feet and extending his hand towards Artemis. She respectfully handed over the golden lasso.

"You may leave now, and ensure no one disturbs me."

"Yes!"

Artemis hesitated, stealing a glance at Diana, before bowing her head to Stephen and exiting the room, closing the door behind her.

"This is my first time playing with ropes. I had a little practice with Helena before, so if it leaves an indelible mark of pain, you must inform me because... I'd be quite proud."

"What do you intend to do?" Diana demanded, her gaze piercing.

"To achieve my goal through more direct means."

Since hostilities couldn't be eased, Stephen decided to delve deeper into this antagonistic state. As one of the future three powerhouses of the Justice League and an advocate for women's rights and gender equality, conquering her would undoubtedly be quite fulfilling, wouldn't it?

With a chuckle, Stephen threw Diana onto the bed, bound by the golden lasso, and lunged towards her.

Diana desperately attempted to escape, but the golden lasso quickly caught up to her. Even though she possessed expertise in using ropes, she had never witnessed such finesse. Even without the golden lasso, it immobilized individuals, stripping them of their abilities and rendering them helpless.

"You... You want to force me to bear your child?" Diana stared at Stephen, removing her armor as if she had finally grasped his intentions.

Observing her serious expression, Stephen was taken aback but couldn't help but smile.

"Who said this had to be solely for procreation?" Stephen asked, grinning.

"Don't try to deceive me. I've read books about the outside world. It says that reproduction involves... men removing a woman's clothing and embracing one another to find pleasure." Diana whispered.

The narrative style has taken an abrupt turn!

Stephen felt as though Diana had transformed from a brave and determined warrior into a cab driver. The car she was driving had veered off-course!

"Understood." Stephen glanced at the golden lasso binding Diana and suddenly smiled. "The golden lasso's effect compels you to answer truthfully. You must speak the truth!"

Although the narrative style had shifted, it had become even more intriguing!

Diana berated him, wishing for her own demise, but she still had to answer his questions. They engaged in what was supposed to be a cruel devil's torture of a goddess, yet it transformed into an academic discussion.

Although it was confirmed that there was no difference between a mortal woman and a goddess, and she could create exquisite porcelain art without relying on her demigod physique, Stephen remained undeterred.

With a chuckle, Stephen reclaimed the golden lasso, and Diana, now free, promptly rose without hesitation and began shouting at him.

"I'm going to kill you!"

"I know, I know. You've said that several times already," Stephen casually remarked, leisurely dressing himself. "Before you commence, perhaps you should consider whether you can eliminate me within this room. If you can't, think about your people. Although I'm unsure how long I'll remain here, I'll give you a chance to challenge me every day. If you win, I'll release everyone on the island. If I win, you'll have to accompany me... continue to bear children?"

They had already consummated their desires, the devil's tango. After Stephen finished speaking, he couldn't help but smile.

"I'll challenge you right now." Diana stood up unwillingly.

"I'm tired. Let's commence tomorrow."

Stephen, now dressed, casually waved his hand, reclaimed the golden lasso, and exited the room.

Artemis dutifully guarded the door.

"Take me to Hippolyta's usual chambers. I wish to rest."

"Yes."

Artemis responded and led the way.

Hippolyta's chambers weren't far from Diana's room, only a few minutes away.

"Not bad." Stephen nodded contentedly. "Please bring me something to eat and remain vigilant for any strangers on the island."

"Yes."

Artemis nodded, tentatively inquiring, "Diana... should we confine her?"

"No, please clarify the situation to her and join me in bed tonight."

Artemis stood dazed, sharing a bed? With Diana?

"You're unwilling?" Stephen asked when he noticed her silence.

"No, my Lord," Artemis hastily replied.

"Then go." Stephen waved his hand and reclined.

After Artemis left, she first arranged for food to be brought and attended to, then organized visits and monitored the situation on the island. After some hesitation, she eventually returned to her abode.

A sword rested on the table within her quarters.

The legendary sword capable of slaying Ares!

Originally stored within the tower alongside the golden lasso, Artemis had brought the sword along with her.

If Stephen were a god, the only one capable of defeating him would be this sword, the God Killer.
