Chapter 167 BGM (Battle Ground Music)

Chapter 167 BGM (Battle Ground Music)

...

Boom!

Dust filled the air as the colossal form of Doomsday crashed heavily to the ground. A golden rope coiled around its neck, and Diana, leveraging a jutting stone slab with her feet, grasped the Golden Lasso with her hands, lifting it backward.

Doomsday struggled to break free but found itself relentlessly pummeled by Superman. Every time Heat rays were unleashed, Superman would swiftly reel him in.

Superman's strength had undeniably doubled at that moment.

Stephen, nodding in self-approval, snapped pictures of Superman in action. "This is all thanks to him wearing the underwear on the outside! It's almost over. Once Batman gets the kryptonite weapon, Doomsday is as good as gone. This version is quite different from the comics, In comics its strength evolves accordingly. Even at its peak, it can resist Darkseid's omega rays. But now this one, It won't even evolve into possessing Doomsday Spores entirely."

The Spores of Doomsday were indeed formidable. Simply being near them would consume all life, converting vitality into nourishment, and even if the body was destroyed, they could parasitize others, swallowing the host to resurrect Doomsday once more.

A being that seemed to defy death from birth!

Stephen had overheard General Swanwick's earlier words. If they had figured out who made Doomsday, shouldn't Bald Lex be apprehended too? A bald man who made doomsday was now captured, achieving the feat of seeing Superman's wearing red underwear and even showing signs of blackening.

He had also witnessed Wonder Woman, Diana, in action again, and observed The Flash's battered face along with the unfortunate fate of Green Lantern on his home turf. It was all worth it!

Looking ahead, Stephen anticipated Superman might have some issues with General Swanwick. He sighed, savoring the jealousy he instill in the U.S. military and government.

Kill two birds with one stone and rake in the cash!

"I'm not sure if Superman will meet his fate with Doomsday like in the movies, but one thing's for sure: Batman, he'll handle it, right? I mean, who wants a Superman-less world? That would just be a party pooper, turning him into an Injustice Superman. Now that does sound like fun!" Stephen mused about the complexities of having a good time.

...

"You're really quick, huh?" Batman asked The Flash, eyeing the kryptonite spear.

The Flash replied, "Didn't you see it before?"

"This type of kryptonite has a massive impact on Kryptonians. I need you to stab it into Doomsday as quickly as possible and then get Superman out of there. Can you do it?" Batman looked at The Flash with a serious expression, noticing a hint of nervousness.

"Fear's not a bad thing; everyone feels it. But remember, it means everyone has a chance to face fear and be brave!" Batman dished out some Chicken Soup for the Soul, tailored perfectly for The Flash, who always relied on like it to boost his spirits after getting a beating every F@ing day.

Holding the kryptonite spear, The Flash focused on Doomsday, contained by Superman and Wonder Woman but showing no signs of injury. His determination grew stronger.

The Flash nodded decisively.

With the Speed Force activated, a burst of yellow lightning streaked to Doomsday in the blink of an eye.

"Superman, move!" The Flash yelled, thrusting the kryptonite spear into Doomsday's heart.

Simultaneously, Superman's expression soured, and he slumped weakly.

Huh!

The Flash swiftly carried Superman away and turned to face Doomsday, who, instead of dying, became even more grotesque.

"Not good!"

The Flash shouted just as Wonder Woman leaped into action, landing on Doomsday. With Hephaestus sword in hand, she pierced Doomsday's arm, her shield deflecting his other hand. After releasing the sword and grabbing the kryptonite spear, she slammed it down.

"ROOOORRRRR!" The ominous roar of Doomsday echoed through the air as it sent Wonder Woman hurtling upward.

Simultaneously, the creature attempted to wrench the kryptonite spear free. Trembling and making a few feeble movements, it ultimately crashed its arm down, remaining motionless and unresponsive.

Did it die?

Wonder Woman and other onlooker observed as Doomsday slowly toppled forward. Upon approaching the fallen foe and finding no signs of life, their suspicions were confirmed.

Doomsday was no more!

"Phew!" The Flash exhaled, taking a seat on the ground. Batman, walking over, efficiently stowed away the kryptonite spear.

Ugh!

Superman extended his hand to tear off the crimson underwear, casting a cold glance toward the spaceship. With a resolute bang, he soared away, determined to rescue his mother Martha.

"No, we can't let him go unchecked."

Batman, furrowing his brow, addressed The Flash: "Can you still run? Can you take me to catch up with him?"

"No problem!" The Flash assured as Batman swiftly darted off, chasing Superman through the air.

One flying, the other racing.

The Flash pondered, realizing he couldn't quite catch up with Superman. Batman must be a bit too heavy.

...

On the nearly level battlefield, Doomsday's lifeless body lay on the ground, the echoes of intense music lingering. Diana leaped gracefully, landing near the spaceship. She rapped on the glass, signaling for Stephen to come out.

Stephen grinned as he took the camera, soaring out of the Disciple with an infectious smile.

"Music's off." Despite her genuine love for it and the undeniable boost it gave her in battle, enhancing her fighting spirit, Diana now felt a twinge of embarrassment once the skirmish had concluded.

"I want to challenge you!"

"This time, I'll definitely beat you!" Diana declared, her voice resonating with determination as she locked eyes with Stephen.

"Now?"

"Now!"

"Okay!" Stephen chuckled and descended gracefully.

Diana leapt skyward, her slender legs coiling before touching the ground.

With a shield in one hand and sword in the other, the Golden Lasso around her waist, and her armor resonating with the lingering notes of the music, Stephen couldn't help but be momentarily stunned.

"I've decided, you must play this BGM when you fight with people in the future! It's really hard to get tired of!" Stephen asserted with sincerity.

Diana's smile widened, and the sword of Hephaestus moved like a swift gust of wind.

Stephen effortlessly evaded, and Diana launched another aggressive attack.

The passionate music and the resounding drums intensified Diana's onslaught, her focus deepening, and her sharp, exquisite features exuding a captivating charm.
