The Indifference

Wishing a good day to the guard with a straight face, she walked in. She kept praying that she must not encounter anyone in her path. She was not in a mood to talk to anyone and Hei-Ran not replying to her was making her crankier. She needed another tea or coffee before she could open her mouth and something polite would come out of it.

"Walk with me!" said a tall man standing next to her. She was not in the mood to play a guessing game, so she looked at the person. Vicktor was looking ahead but was talking to her. With red, droopy eyes, she looked at him but said nothing. "Come with me," he said again.

Like a fool, she just kept staring at him. For the love of God, she had no energy to discuss anything. She was just preparing herself for another lecture from Bong.

"Oh, for god's sake!" shouted Vicktor and grabbed Nivritti's arm. He pulled her towards the secluded stairs and closed the door behind him.

"What?" shouted Nivritti.
