Crouching down and looking at their equipment Zafrey had a compelling feeling to loot the Bodies, but refused to do so.

"Even though though they may have something of valuable to me in this world I can't just take shit from a dead body..." Zafrey feeling his inner greed, he grabbed the body of Toya and closed his eyes.

"I don't know what you have been through to hate me, or even someone that looks like me, i just wish you thought of the consequences first." Zafrey sighing while digging a grave for each of the party members

The shovel Zafrey was using was a unknown

Putting his hands together Zafrey prayed In front of the five gravestones and wished them to have happier life in their next lives.

After a few minutes of praying Zafrey looked at the darkening skies and shivered from a cold breeze.

"I need to find a Human settlement this instance, i wouldn't want to be stuck in the forest at night" Zafrey talked to himself while grabbing the shovel noble phantasm and running west in a moderate running speed.

'when i was checking the corpses i was able to appraise a sword dropped by the supposed leader of the party'

Zafrey seeing this description he started to cringe with regret and took the sword from the possession of Toya then tucked it away in his inventory.

"I just killed the Heroes Party..." Zafrey said to himself while trying to out run the night.

While Zafrey was running he was talking the system about the counter measure feature that he was introduced to when he was fighting the hero party.

Running for an hour and a half Zafrey was finally able to see human civilization at it's finest, a medieval kingdom that has circular walls surrounding the city, with four entry points one for each directions.

Seeing the large city he started to walking in much more leisure pace and into the gate entrance closest to him.

"The East gate..." Zafrey looked at the gates then at the guards checking the identification of each carriege and personal entering the city.

"It's getting dark, i thought the Heroes party would be returning today, but i guess iam wrong" a guard said to his college while looking at the dark night sky.

"The King and Queen said they would be arriving soon, but it seems like they're a day off from the celebration." the guards college said him why checking a piece of paper give to him by one of the merchants.

Seeing that everything was in the order the guard shouted at the next person in line

"NEXT!"

Hearing that he was next Zafrey stepped up and waited for guard to ask him something.

"Profession and reason of visiting."

Zafrey finally understanding what the guards was saving happy said to guard.

"Adventurer, Meeting friends..." Zafrey said to the guard while no longer maintaining eye contact.

"Identification sir..." the guard said to the person wearing a full bodied cloaked hood while reaching out and opening his hand for something.

'Fuck should i bribe him?, what if he doesn't take the bribe? and instead convicts me for impersonation?' thinking fast Zafrey said to guard in saddened tone

"I lost my adventure card, when i was fighting some goblin for a quest sir, would it be okay for me to enter?"

Hearing Zafrey's reasoning the guards face curled up while eyeing him with greedy eyes.

"Oh i see sir then the fee for a lost Adventure card would 10 gold he he." the guard said to Zafrey smiling maniacally

Hearing that his bluff was a success Zafrey reached inside his cloak to hide that fact he is opening a small golden portal to take 10 gold coins from the vault.

Pretending to be a little saddened by the loss of income just to make up the act, Zafrey then gave the gold coins to the guard.

Seeing that Zafrey gave him 10 gold coins the guard eyes turned into gold coins and was busily counting the coins in case he was tricked

Feeling that it was real gold the guard happily smiled at Zafrey and shouted at the next person in line

'Ha Ha Ha, I'm rich now! to think that an adventurer was loaded with gold just like that!, i should use for beer and women!! hahaha' the guard was feeling exhilarated by riches he has accumulated by tricking the adventurer.

Seeing that he was aloud to enter the city now Zafrey started walking into the inner parts of the gates.

'Holy shit this city is massive!' seeing the house structures of the city Zafrey was surprised on just how developed this world is in architecture, everything has marble built into it.

Walking up to city districts he was able to see

carriages being pulled by some sort of hybrid between a lizard and a horse.

'Is that a suppose to be dinosaur?' Zafrey asked to himself but just scoffed it off as something part of the fantasy element.

'I need to look for an inn, its already been a day and a lot of things happened already, i just want to sleep.' Zafrey being tried of his adventures started to look for inn.

After 20 minutes of walking in the city district he was able to find a inn called "Pig's Beer and tavern"

"Agh, Finally just how is this the only Inn i found the past 20 minutes?" feeling stress take a hold of him Zafrey opened the door to the inn

*Door Ring*

"Welcome to Pig's Beer and Tavern, would like to rent a room or get a beer?" Hearing the Door bell ringing a women in her 40s looked at the cloaked figure with suspicion, while also greeting him.

Hearing the waitress greet him he sighed of relief and said to the waitress "One room, one night please."

Feeling Joyed by a new customer the Waitress smiled and ushered him to the counter of the tavern

"The cost for one night here is 2 silver coins but you can get a free breakfast, lunch and dinner." hearing this deal Zafrey's stomach groaned from hunger.

Hearing the loudest growl she has ever since she was working since she was 18 years old, laughed at the Zafrey's display.

"Ha haha!, didn't your mama tell you to eat when your hungry? gosh men this days forgetting to eat because of work." The waitress scolded Zafrey while leaving the counter reaching into the kitchen

After 1 minute of waiting the waitress came back with bowl of steak stew and round bread for him.

Seeing the food right in front of him Zafrey's stomach started to growl much more louder but instead he look at the waitress with confused look.

the waitress waved her hand and smiled

"The foods free, I can't let a person starve in front of the inn thats just bad business" The waitress said to Zafrey while placing the plate of food in front of him

"Thank you.." feeling genuine kindness from the waitress Zafrey quickly ate the food like he was pack of hyenas.

in the span of 20 seconds Zafrey was able to finish the bowl of steak stew and bread clean.

"This is steak stew is amazing, it's been so long since I've eaten anything!!, Thank you!!" Zafrey heavily thanked the waitress for her kindness and he proceeded to give her a gold coin the came from inside his cloak.

The waitress seeing the gold coin almost recoiled out of shock and she cautiously told Zafrey to keep it.

"WHat! are you doing KId! hide that coin away do you know how valuable that is!?"

'Huh? then if the waitress is almost screaming at me to hide the gold coin then how much did money did i pay that guard???'

Seeing that Zafrey was still looking at her with a confused gaze she told Zafrey how valuable a single gold coin is.

"Kid a single gold coin can buy you a small house in the capital city of Layosta!"

"A single gold coin can be equivalent to 100 silver coins or 100 bronze coins!!"

"1 gold coin can feed a small family of five for 2 years!!"

Hearing the explanation of the waitress of the value of the gold coin in his hand he cringed at the fact he gave away 10 gold coins to a guard just to bribe him.

"Thank you Waitress-san telling me but i want to give this to as kindness for the food and of course the room" Zafrey countered while nudging the coin towards the waitress

Seeing that he was stubborn the waitress took the coin the counter and said to the man wearing the cloak

"Fine, but you will get 50 days of rent and food from me okay? Kid."

"Deal!" Zafrey accepting her offer with contempt, then asked her where will his room be.

"Its on the second floor on the right with VIP sign you won't miss it" Hearing this Zafrey was about to get out of his seat when he finally noticed he was the only person the tavern right now.

'Huh'

Looking at the waitress again he asked where the other customers are?

The waitress sighed

"They has been a war between the kingdom Layosta and the Demon Lord's army almost all adventurers and soldiers of the kingdom are fighting in the war my son and daughter are also joining the war"

"so no one ever comes inns or taverns anymore unless they are travelers or from different countries"

"Say kid, where are you from?, for a person like you to throw a gold coin like that you must have been a prestigious adventurer?"

Hearing this question Zafrey ignored her question and proceeded to go to the second floor.

"That kid must be going through something right now, maybe he lost his parents in the war or something?" The Waitress deduced his situation but it's better left unsaid

Closing the door to his room Zafrey removed his Cloak and sat on the bed glomming over a fact he was so distracted to understand.

'How could i be so NAIVE!!, I Forgot what i was suppose to DO!!' Zafrey clenched his fist while looking at the systems mission tab.
