Chapter 87

Porter was knocked windless as Michael drove his leg into his stomach, which caused Porter to lose his breath. Then he withdrew his leg and pulled it up towards his face, while simultaneously bringing Porter's face down into his approaching knee. This caused Porter's face to be brought into contact with his knee.

Michael was able to feel Porter's face and nose collide with the kneecap he was standing on. The softer tissues of Porter's face gave way to the more rigid bone of his knee as the injury progressed.

When Michael got the impression that Porter was finished, he threw him away and took a few steps back . This provided Porter with some breathing room during which he could reconsider his choices.

Porter stepped back, astonished. He was crying violently, and blood was pouring out of his nose. His eyes were red and bloodshot. He scratched his nose and grimaced in agony as a result of his own direct touch with the sore area.
