“Did it escape your attention that we had a guest?” She inquired while maintaining her rapid breathing.

“What?”, he inquired.

she replied while pointing towards the furthest corner of the room.

When Michael lifted his head, he was startled to see Christine seated on the chair that was located in the corner of the room.

“Hey, both of you!” Christine said.

“What's up, Christine? “It believed you weren't going to return till the day after tomorrow,” he remarked.

“We finished up ahead of schedule, so I headed back. Even so, I'm exhausted. That journeyafter midnight isn't my cup of tea, and that deposition took over 12 hours.”

“You want us to give your bed back to you?” “Yes.”

You are more than welcome to remain here as long as both of you are ready to give sleeping for a while a go. Go to either your room or Clare's if you want to argue with each other for the rest of the night. “But I'm ready to sleep,” she informed him. “I'm exhausted.”
