Prologue

So, I died.

Huh.

As expected.

I knew I was destined to die when I killed that piece of garbage. But I don't regret it. My whole life, I lived for my family—if I could even claim to have had one. My grandparents died before I was born, and I lost my father when I was seven. He was in the military, and he died in an enemy attack.

His death hit my mother and me hard. But my mother put up a tough front for my sake. She sacrificed everything to support me, only asking that I make her and my father proud. After high school, I aimed to become an engineer. However, due to financial constraints, I couldn't continue my studies after a few years.

During this period, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. My world came crashing down, but I didn't let it break me. My mother had supported me; now it was my turn.

I used my father's military connections to join the army, and my discipline helped me excel. I climbed the ranks quickly and continued to study engineering, hacking, and coding in my free time.

With the money I earned, I paid for my mother's treatment. The treatment was successful, and I could sleep peacefully at night. But soon, I was deployed to fight in a war against a neighboring nation. When I returned home after the war, I found my mother dead.

My world shattered. I felt numb. When I learned she had been tortured and brutally murdered, something dark awakened within me. I discovered that the man responsible was an old rival of my father's. He had been biding his time, climbing the ranks within the military and waiting for the perfect moment to strike back, ensuring his power was unchallenged.

One thought consumed me: REVENGE…REVENGE…REVENGE. I meticulously planned and executed my revenge. I knew I would die for it, as this man now held significant power and could easily order my execution.

Though I accepted my fate, I felt a deep unwillingness. All my life, I had lived for my family. But I wanted to live for myself, even if only for a short while.

As I floated in the void, reminiscing about my past, I saw a blinding light approaching me. As it reached me, I felt excruciating PAIN.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It was like all the pain I had ever felt, multiplied by trillions. My thoughts became a chaotic mess, and then I blacked out.
