I was definitely going to be late. Since I didn't hear my parents usual morning activities and I surprisingly had a good night's rest, I over slept.
Right now, I'm using my vampire speed to get to school as soon as possible before first period is over. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and I felt something hit me with such force that I flew in the air. I knew I was thin but this was crazy.
I crashed into a tree and fell down with a thud. I sluggishly got up and rubbed my head.
What in the world was that?
Luckily, our school was near a forest because of the wolves if not whatever hit me would have made me crash into traffic and that would be the end of me.
I was dusting myself off and preparing to continue my rush to school when I heard movement. I looked round me but the forest was silent. Then I heard it again. When I looked on front of me there stood a shirtless guy, obviously a werewolf, he had a devilish smile and in his hand was a syringe.
I started to back away but he pounced on me and injected me. I closed my eyes bracing myself for the pain of whatever the contents would cause but nothing came.
He looked at me confused then all of a sudden he fled.
I'm guessing it was the Mix that was inside that syringe but the dose wasn't enough to affect me.
I can't believe my parents’ torture came to good use.
When I got to school third period had already started so I just went to class, endured the stares and sat in the back seat amongst the shadows .
As soon as I sat down, I snoozed off. I was tired from all the stress I went through.
The next thing that I heard was the ringing of the bell. I got up with a start and wiped the drool from my face. I felt someone staring at me so I turned to see who. It was a redhead with maroon eyes. She held a narrow gaze before she stalked out of the class.
I wonder what that was about.

“I thought you weren't coming today. I was worried sick.” Ryan said as he hugged me when he saw me in the hallway.
I was managing to control my breathing and not slip into an unconscious state.
“I woke up late and got side tracked on my way to school” I told him.
I wasn't keen on telling him about my encounter with the wolf. I was scared it would lead to me speaking about my torture at home and that will make them hate Diana more which I cannot afford right now.
“What side tracked you?” he asked with concern. His blue eyes stared deep into my mint green eyes with serious concern and worry. My stomach developed knots with the lie I intended to spill out.
“A squirrel.”
It was the first thing that popped into my head. I was scared he wasn't going to believe it.
“It happens.” he said with a shrug and walked on and I kept wondering how he believed me. I doubt Grant would have believed me.
°°°°°°
It's been a week since my encounter with that wolf and I have been on edge. I keep wondering what he wanted me for.
Although Ryan believed my lie Grant saw right through it and didn't let me go until I told him the truth. At least I didn't have to talk about my family.
I felt so ashamed of myself especially with how hurt Ryan was. He was distant for a day. That normally isn't much but to me it was too long.
When he finally started talking to me he babied me up. He and Grant did. It made my heart swell but I really wished it was someone else doing all this.
At first, they insisted on walking me from my house to school and from school back to my house. I immediately shut that down. I didn't know what my parents would do if they showed up. I don't know whether they would drink them or fake niceness.
We came to an agreement that they would meet me at the beginning of the forest by the school and they would walk me to school. When school ends they would walk me there then I would take the rest of the journey on my own.
I was just about to reach the edge of the forest, I could even see the top of Grant's head when something hit me from behind. I screamed. Not in pain but in shock and in order to alert Grant.
I wasn't even given any time to get up, I was dragged somewhere, maybe into the forest, I don't know.
It took about ten minutes for my captor to get us to our destination. He pushed me roughly on the forest floor. I scrapped my knee even more with that.
I finally looked around and found out I was surrounded by more wolves. Some were scouts and the others were warriors.
Were they going to kill me?
Right in the middle of it all was the redhead with maroon eyes.
“What do you want from me?” I asked her genuinely confused.
I was one of the weakest vampires, it wouldn't matter if I die or not. Did I offend them by accident?
“You will be the start of the end, the end of all vampires!” she said with a light in her maroon eyes.
“But they won't notice anything if I die and how are you guys going to kill all vampires around the world?” I asked.
She didn't reply. Instead she tilted her head to the side and walked away.
Grant better be on his way or I'll become history.
“We should make hers a quick death. She isn't worth much.” one of them said.
Is this how it's going to end? I'm not even going to be able to tell Jordan the truth and his pack would be finished. I wish I tried harder.
I was slowly sobbing now. I didn't want it to end like this. I wanted to save Jordan and his pack. I wanted to tell him the truth.
“You didn't even invite me to the party” I heard Grant say sarcastically.
The other werewolves started growling lowly.
I looked up to see him. He looked pissed.
“It's not like you are going to help us with our objective.” the redhead said folding her arms and cocking her hips to one side.
“Why would I do something so dumb that would cause massive war Savannah? You should really think things through. If just the few of you start killing off all the vampires, the other vampires will start to fight and kill other innocent werewolves. Now tell me Savannah, is that fair?” he asked calming.
I could see her tense and her features hardened. She didn't say anything, she turned away and her followers left with her.
How is that possible? Did Grant use magic?
“Are you okay?” Grant asked as he came near me.
“Yeah, I'm fine just a few grazes.” I said as he helped me to my feet.
“C'mon, I'll carry you to school.” he told me.
My eyes widened.
“It will be faster besides no one will see us cause we'll be going through the forest.” he explained.
I wasn't worried that someone will see us, I felt like I would be betraying Jordan.
“Turn around.” he said.
“Why?”
“I'm going to shift. We're already late." He said with a shrug.
I obeyed. I could hear him taking off his clothes then I heard the breaking of bones before a bark.
I turned around to see a huge wolf. Gosh! I had never seen a werewolf face to face. I knew they were big but Grant was huge. Grant's snout rested directly above my head.
He looked at me with a light in his eyes before lowering himself. I climbed on with shaking limbs. When I was securely seated, Grant zipped through the forest. I wanted to scream so badly but I held it in. Before I knew it we were behind the school.
I carefully got down and noticed Grant's clothes tired to the ankle of his wolf. I turned around so he could shift and wear his clothes.
I heard bones breaking then I heard him putting on his clothes.
“You okay?” he asked. I turned around to face him but nearly fell flat on my face if he didn't catch me.
“I feel wobbly.” I told him. He just nodded and held my shoulders to support me.
We walked into school only to be met with the empty hallway. I looked to Grant and saw that he was mind linking.
“They're in the cafeteria.” he said and continued leading me.
We entered the cafeteria and went to meet the rest. As soon as Ryan saw me he hugged me.
“My poor baby, what happened to you?” he asked as he looked at my rough appearance
I stole a glance at Jordan hoping to see a small form of jealousy but all I saw was that he was focused on Diana.
“Nothing serious...”
“Savannah is what happened.” Grant said as we sat down.
“Ugh, I hate that girl.” Ryan said. “Luckily Grant was there” he finished.
Diana slid me a blood pouch.
“Drink up sis,” she said.
I was really scared ofthe possibility that it was spiked but I drank it.
°°°°°°°°°°
The school day was okay, I got the notes I missed and I was in my final class. I hadn't felt okay since lunch and it wasn't because of the blood pouch Diana gave me.
I just felt tired and useless. The words of the werewolf kept ringing in my head.
I wasn't worth much.
Once the bell rang for the end of class I went out to the bleachers. It was already drizzling but I didn't care. I got to the bleachers and screamed. I screamed my heart out and just sat there in the silence.
And that's a wrap.
Tell how much u like it in the comments.
