I wanted to cry and smile at the same time.
She made me so proud. It didn't seem like she was a captive. She seemed like someone with a motherly vibe, someone who has been taking care of people all her life.
After she comforted Ryan, I sent both Grant and Ryan away so that I could spend time with my mate.
When they walked out, she heaved a sigh. I came up behind her and held her by her shoulder blades.
“I really don't want to go back, I ... I want to stay here with you and the guys but...” she was slowly crying. I turned her around and wrapped her in my arms for a hug.
“I wish this never happened but the funny thing is, it would have happened eventually, if not your pack then another pack. At least, we have a fighting chance.” she said softly.
“Kate, I don't know what to do. I am afraid to lose you. It's selfish but I do want you to help my pack. I don't want to lose you, I don't.” I told her softly.
