William stood ready for any attack as his opponent got into a stance. Although he was a mage, his shadow armor was a top tier fourth circle spell. It boosted his strength and agility tremendously, not to mention its defensive capabilities. 


On top of that, his fourth circle ‘Shadow Domain’ provided a 50% increase to all shadow magic spells, increasing his power even more. Yet the weak looking female had easily dodged his increased speed and even swatted away his flail like bug. 


The Shadow Domain also reduced the casting time of his, which is why he had a third circle defensive shadow spell ready. He would deploy it immediately, if he felt he couldn’t face or avoid her attack.
