The Auction Master II

The Butler quickly guided her to a waiting area, before he rushed to get the auction master. The old man quickly rushed to the upper floor and knocked on the auction master’s office door.

He opened the door before he got a reply as leaned in and asked, “Excuse me, Mr. Scarlett. There is a special guest here to meet you?”

Scarlett was well aware that the butler would not disturb them, unless it was a very important guest. So, she signaled him to explain. The butler quickly walked to her and handed her the letter.

As soon as she saw the seal on the letter, she recognized that it was quite a serious matter. She opened the seal and gave the letter a quick read.

After she was done, she looked at the robed figure standing across from her, and spoke, “I apologize, Damon. Could please give me a moment to meet this guest?”

“Of course, Scarlett. I don’t mind.” The figure answered with a wave of his hand.
