The Great Flaming Phoenix I

Princess Charlotte stared in a mixture of horror and awe as her four constructs were obliterated in a blink of an eye. The spirit mage breathed out a sigh to calm her heart, because she only had enough mana remaining to summon a single intermediate level spirit, and no more.

It wasn’t as if her mana reserves were completely exhausted. In fact, she just a little less than half of her mana, remaining. After all, one of the biggest advantage of spirit magic was that one had to use a large amount of mana only once to form a body for the spirit.

After that, the mage had to provide only a minute amount of mana to maintain the structure. However, the princess was already forced to summon several constructs, and even had to reform the body for two spirit, more than once.

It was already surprising that she had such a large amount of mana remaining. However, an intermediate level spirit was in a completely different league than the low rank spirits she had summoned so far.
