Chapter 6

As I entered the bar all eyes were on me which was understandable it’s not normal for a five year old child to come to a bar but couldn’t be bothered by them right now because I need to find the owner of this place. Soon everyone had gone back to what ever they were doing but some still had their eyes on me.

According to the boy from before it’s hard to get any information with out an appointment but if you meet the owner he might help you but the problem is no one knows the owner of the bar.

I scanned around the room and I noticed their were some men among the other people who we're neat looking and had this air around them, many would easily mistake them as the guild owner but I’m not going to be fooled by that. I finally figured out were the guild owner is, so I went up to the bartender and said “ excuse my I’ll like to ask something”.

The bartender who was a young man with brown hair and blue eyes came out from behind the counter to meet me and said “hey there child what are you doing here this isn’t a place for kids like you” although he said it softly, he was trying to act ignorant of the fact that he didn’t noticed me walk in. I see his trying to play the nice guy but I went straight to the point and say “I want to meet the owner”.

He arched his brow at my straight forward demand but wasn’t shaken by it maybe thinking I haven’t figured it out, so he says “you want to see the owner, ok go find them and if you do I’ll let you in without any objections” he had a smirk on his face probably think I’m going to make the same mistake as the other who came for the same purpose but I already figured it out too bad simpleton.

I walked over to the lady with short blue hair and black eyes sitting at the far end of the bar with some men at the table so I tapped her, when her attention was on me I said to her “found you owner”.

The men with her became alert on hearing what I said but the lady gestured for them to stop, she then turned her attention to me with a smile then saying “you are one interesting kid, why don’t you follow me inside so we can talk more” she stood up and gestured me to follow her.

We walked into a room that looked like a storage but the lady knocked on the wooden wall and it opened revealing stairs leading down the bar we walked down and reached an office. The office was neat and organized but had an intimidating air about it, the lady had already sat down at her desk looking at me as I was busy looking around the room.

When I took a sit in front of her, she scanned me from my head till my toes looking for any suspicious signs then she smiled saying “you really are an interesting kid, so tell me how did you know I was the owner” she looked straight at me observing me to check if I would lie, which was pointless for me.

I told her “well I heard it was hard to know who the owner was since many people had already failed and I could see why because no one would expect you to be a woman and you had your men mislead people by placing them to pose as you but what gave you out was the occasional glances they would give you as if sending you messages and also I could sense some energy from you that wasn’t in the other men and I’m not a threat so would you please withdraw your men” when I finished she looked stunned but it was replaced with laughter that filled the room.

“Wow kid I’m impressed not only with did you figure out my identity but you also discovered my hidden men that’s amazing for a young kid to know something even trained soldiers don’t” after saying that she called the men who were hiding and told them to leave us alone.

When they left she finally asked me what information I came to inquire I told her I want to know about the Drakos family, she seems surprised and asked what I had to do with the second most powerful family in the whole Sapphire kingdom. I said I’m their lost youngest child in hopes that she would believe me and tell me what I want to know, what she said next shattered all the hopes I had.

“That’s impossible because the youngest child has been dead for the past five years now”. What ?
