Chapter 11

The woman hugging me was my mother she looked even better than the photo I saw, I could feel tears dropping on me this family must have a habit of crying. She has been hugging me for a long time now as if I would disappear if she let’s go.

“My dear son mommy missed you so much, I looked everywhere for you I knew you were still alive baby” she was still crying so I hugged her back and said “ mommy don’t cry I’m here now” I was hoping that would make her stop but she only cried more which turned the hug into a family one, are they forgetting that their squishing me.

Once they released me know me I was finally able to breathe but to my horror mother said “ dear I know you missed mommy so you’ll be spending the whole day with me ok” what? I have books to read I haven’t even read on how to control Mana but I couldn’t refuse her for some reason so I grinned and said “ ok mother” she picked me up and we all left the library.

The whole morning after that I spent with mother, she didn’t leave my side for a minute which I understand was because she hasn’t seen her son in a long time but I some how felt guilty like I was stealing the love of the original owner but there was nothing I could do about it.

We went outside and it was my first time going outside the mansion, we ate lunch outside and bought new clothes which made me tired because I was made to try all the dresses I was given even female ones, it was so embarrassing what was worse was that she bought it. After strolling around a little with some guards behind us which drew unnecessary attention we finally went home.

We were spending some time in the garden when father came with some people following behind him, it was Marquis Themis and his family, at the party I only saw him and his youngest daughter but today he brought his wife and oldest daughter along which made me wonder what had brought them here but it was also an opportunity to talk to Adara about what she said last time.

Father reached were we we’re seated in the garden and said to mother “ Dear we have something we need to discuss inside Lord Themis has some thing to say about the investigation” looking at their faces it seems to be some thing serious, so they left us kids to play on our own, it made me wonder what made them so serious but I hope it wasn’t something that had to do with me.

After they left Adara's older sister after exchanging pleasantries went to look for the knights in order to spar with them, from what I heard from Zoe she was an aspiring knight who was able to beat up men older than her even at the young age of fourteen she was given a recommendation letter to the academy under the top instructor who was a former knight to the king since she was also the heir of the marquis she had a lot on her plate.

When she left I had the opportunity to speak with Adara so I asked “about what you said last time how much do you know about me” I have known time to beat around the bush so I hope she tells me what she knows. She smiles and says “chill bro I know that because I’m also not from this world I got reincarnated like you, I mean it’s not like I’m complaining being inside a novel you read is pretty awesome”.

What is she talking about a novel I didn’t understand “ what novel I want to ask which of the gods sent you here to monitor me?” she also seems confused by my question so she explains that she is from another world where things like cars and phone exist with a different system and modern culture was a over the world you didn’t have to do much things because their was a machine that does it for you.

She also said that this world was part of a novel she read in the past called the beloved Saintess, it involved prince Stephen who was the villain of the story which surprised me because the boy I saw before was far from being a villain but clarified that he only turned that way because his brother died and he was made crown prince and was manipulated by people into becoming a tyrant.

Wait the crown prince dies that means my sister becomes a widow, this is something that I must prevent this, I put that in mind as I listened to her speak. She talks about a Saintess who was a commoner buy became a Saintess after attending the academy were her powers manifested she meets the male lead and they fall in love but Stephen was also in love with her because she helped him heal his heart.

But she was in love with someone else which made Stephen lock her up and kept her away from her lover but when the lover found her he killed Stephen who didn’t put up a fight and live happily after being made king and queen by the people of the kingdom. In the story I didn’t appear which made her know that I was from another world because she herself was only an extra in the story.

After the story she asks “ so if you didn’t read the novel what’s your story” I hesitated to tell her but I decided to tell her only bits of my story, which after telling her about it she says “ wow Ajusshi you had you must have been though a lot” she says patting my back.

I asked her what that meant but she just laughed and said it was used to refer to someone with respect in her home town but I found it suspicious the way she laughed. Later our parents seemed to have finished their meeting and came to call us inside.

After the marquis family had dinner with us they left to their home. But what Adara said was making me feel in uneasy, looking at my sister made me feel worst even if we only got to know each other not long ago I still can’t let that happen to her.

It was finally time to go to sleep and I was sleeping with my parents even when my siblings wanted to stay together the bed saw too small for five people so they sadly went to their room. So I’m currently laying in the middle of my parents thinking about what I’m going to do from this point on to get stronger.

Looking back ever since I got to this world I’ve never had a peaceful moment now adding the new information I got, I’m having a full blown headache but I would have to leave all this for tomorrow.
