[Beginner Village]
A beginner village solely exists to teach the newly arrived players the basics of the game. It was the game tutorial area.
When a player reaches level 5 or either completes the series of general tasks given by the system, they get sent into their respective city choices.
In the case of Ethan, it was Ardale City— the city he first resided in his previous life.
Choosing a place he is already familiar with is better than staying at an unknown location, after all.
"Display Full Status."
Ethan called his status window to see what is the beginning attributes of a Witch.
Immediately, a gentle tone resounded followed by the appearance of the blue transparent window.

What was displayed on the screen were the starting attributes of a Witch.
Since Ethan was a demon, his primary attributes are Magic (MAG) and Wisdom (WIS).
At the same time, his secondaries correlate to his Witch profession hence Intelligence (INT) and Dexterity (DEX).
MAG can increase the player's magical attack and maximum mana, while WIS enhances the perception and increase the player's ability to resist mental ailments.
The secondary attribute, INT, can enhance the player's cognitive ability and comprehension of logic.
For a Witch like him, INT is a very important attribute since it can also affect his ability to learn spells and crafts.
On the other hand, the DEX attribute can improve the player's hand-to-eye coordination and ability to do a task.
These four attributes are the build recommendation for a demon Witch.
However, Ethan was aware that this min-maxing strategy isn't an excellent template to follow.
"Having a unique build is much better than relying on the system."
Ethan uttered his thoughts, remembering how he ultimately overlooked the apparent flaw of following this kind of build in his previous life.
Min-maxing is neither good nor bad. But UTOPIA has many different features other than fighting an endless spawn of monsters.
Some quests require the player to use their less desirable attribute to complete, or many sub-professions set minimum attributes' numbers to obtain.
That is why wisely distributing the stats points is the best course of action.
"Well, I'm not a beginner at this game. Making a hybrid build for the Witch profession should be easy for me."
A haughty smile spread over his lips.
Although Ethan has no experience of being a mage, he couldn't be a number one captain if he didn't study the different professions of the game.
He had a vast knowledge of every class therefore he was not afraid to try another build this time.
His class was a unique profession because of its fighting style. The Witch profession is not a pure mage and does not simply focus on firing magic spells.
Witches often use magic items in combat while some players managed to create combatant Witch— a combination of physical and magical Witch.
"In short it was a fun choice for me. There are so many possibilities in this profession than just slicing the enemy!"
Ethan exclaimed as he was expecting his chosen class this time can bring him a great experience.
After checking his attributes, Ethan went to the bottom of the status window and taps the lowest section. There, the bonus he received as a being from the demon race is listed.

Innate Ability:

"This bonus is cool, but Pixie was more OP than this."
Ethan expresses his thought after reading the text. Though Pixie is more adept at being combat support so it was not his type.
Ethan wanted a profession that could stand and survive even in a solitary grind.
That is one of the reasons why in his previous life, even without prior knowledge of the game, he selected the swordsman profession.
"Now then, let's see what books I got," muttered Ethan as he opened his inventory.
He scans each of the spell books he got from the faceless entity.
According to the book he happened to read in his previous life, Seekers can enter the world of Utopia after being cleansed. It means after being stripped from power, skills, and abilities.
As compensation, every Seeker who entered this world would receive five spell books at the start depending on their profession.
These spellbooks contain spells that a player had a chance to learn. However, it was different from ordinary spellbooks since a player must manually learn it instead of just ripping the book.
[Magic Missile] (B)
[Bind] (B)
[Earth Wall] (I)
[Flicker] (I)
[Ignis Accendium] (A)
Along with their names, the five spellbooks were rated differently. Two basic spells (B), two intermediate spells (I), and one advance spell (A).
The execution guide of these spellbooks was on their pages, and the player must perform them to learn the spells.
However, these spellbooks have only a one-day duration. After that, they will vanish from the inventory no matter if the player learns it or not.
After inspecting all the books, Ethan stands from his seat and starts walking.
A few minutes passed, and Ethan arrived at one of the establishments in the village. Above it, there was a sign naming the place 'Training Hall.'
Ethan decided to go to this place first. Aside from being included in the system's general tasks, the hall's environment has a thicker mana density than the outside place.
If a place has a thick mana density, it could help the player's body stability, and in response, they can gain attribute points.
Swordsmen, for example, can gain STR, VIT, and sometimes DEX substats when continuously practicing in the training hall.
However, Ethan did not go to this place just to swing his staff. That would be… awkwardly amazing.
'A player can gain attributes here, but it's only up to a maximum of twenty points. It was a waste of time. Not to mention it needs several days to earn.'
Ethan thought as he silently scanned the inner building while he walks.
Except for the beta tester, regular players do not know the maximum limit they can gain in this place, hence, they were still frantically practicing their weapons.
On the other hand, Ethan was not here to gain these bonus attributes but instead to utilize the additional benefit of the place.
A place with thick mana density can not only stabilize the body and add bonus attributes, but it can also stabilize the person's state of mind.
To be precise, the training hall is a suitable place for reading and meditating due to the mind stabilizing effect.
Under such an environment, understanding the spellbooks should be easy to achieve.
"I would like to use the backyard, instructor."
Ethan addressed the elder overseeing the training hall after making a light bow.
"Go on, lad. A little amount for this old man would be greatly appreciated."
The instructor responded as Ethan gave two coppers he prepared in advance leaving him 48 coppers in his inventory.
Arriving in the backyard, he could see several players brandishing their respective weapons. Most of them belong to melee professions.
Ethan, after a light scan, walked farther and went to the quiet spot. Choosing one of the trees ahead as a target, he took a deep breath as he brandished his staff.
