Dirty Boss Fight

"ARGH!!!"

The sticky muck is pulling us into this large chamber! How can we get out of this?

"Do something!" Nisha demands me.

"What exactly?!"

"Anything!"

I transform into my Angelus Frame. With my bare fist, I punch the muck with my fist imbued with light. It blows up, freeing us. We scurry to where the gate is but it's already shut. We're trapped!

"We're trapped!" she says.

"Well, I'll be damned," I retort in sarcasm.

"This is all your fault!"

"Me?!"

"If you didn't have issues, we wouldn't be here!"

"Are you saying this is my fault?!"

"What does it sound to you?" she mocks me.

Before I could volley a banter, something roars behind us. Torches light up along the walls of the vast circular chamber, showing the thing it has in store. In the middle, a giant moving shit is transforming into a four-legged creature!

is the name of this thing.

Wait, I read about knowing the difficulty of an enemy! Focus. . . There! On top of it, says that it's Level 100! The Guardian Angel and the Phantom are stronger than this.

"Now what do we do?" Nisha asks.

"Kill it, of course!"

"Are you crazy?!"

"Do you have a better idea?"

The big crap charges at us. We dodge but it stops and spins, hoping to hit us. Nisha screams in panic like the girl she is. She just screams on the ground after tripping instead of picking herself up! What is she doing? It's gonna catch her! The Grog has a firm grip on her legs now. I jump high and stomp on its arms. It gets staggered, letting go of Nisha. I pick her up and make distance from it.

"What are you doing?!" I rage at her frightened face. "You're stronger than me. Why are you acting like a chicken?"

"I've never fought a boss before. . .," she mutters.

"What do you mean?" Oh, I think I understand. "Is that why you're still Level 103 even though you have lived for a hundred years?!"

"It's not my fault, okay? I can't replenish my stren—"

We gasp as the Grog shoots giant poops at us. I don't trust her to dodge on her own so I push her and we barely dodge the first one. More is coming our way!

"Just follow me!" I yell at her.

We run counter-clockwise along the wall of the chamber, dodging the poop projectiles that sizzle as they hit the walls! What the hell is in those?

Then I stop as a projectile is going to hit me if I continue. "Woah!" she yells, crashing behind me.

The poop barely misses my head but the splashes land on my neck! "It hurts!" I scream in pain. It burns! "What the hell's wrong with you?!" I yell at her.

Sitting on my back, she hits the back of my head. "You said to follow you!"

"Yeah, but not crash on me!"

"You stopped all of a sudden, how am I supposed to—"

"Okay, okay! Just get off me!"

She gets off of me and then we focus on dodging the Grog's attacks. They're fairly easy to get used to, unlike the two bosses I have fought. This one's weaker and doesn't have much variation in its attack. I don't even need to name its every Move Set.

An opportunity to attack arrives and I'm determined to make it count. With all I've got, I punch it in my Angelus Frame.

"Yargh!" I roar in exertion as my fist hits its body. "What?" It didn't do anything!

"What was that?" Nisha complains as I retreat to her.

"Why are you complaining? I'm doing all I can!"

"Yeah, but with no result."

"You do it, then!"

"I can't."

"What do you mean, you can't?!"

"I can't invoke Angelus Light as you do!"

"Then we're dead! FOR REAL!!!"

The giant turd attacks us again so we separate. I have to think of something. My attacks are too weak. We need Angelus Light to deal damage to it. Nisha is stronger than me but she can't use it. . . but I can.

Hmm. . . it's all coming together.

"Nisha!" I yell.

"What now?"

"Give me your sword!"

"No way! This is mine only!"

"Don't be a baby!"

We run toward each other and she gives it to me with a scowl on her face. I'm surprised that it's quite heavy.

"Be careful with it," she warns me.

I roll my eyes at her and turn my gaze to that annoying smelly piece of shit. It shoots at me but I know already how fast and how many it will send. Its turn is finished and it's my time to shine!

This is the first time I'm about to swing a sword so I don't know any proper form. But hey, if it cuts, it will. It glows as I give it light then swing it down upon this monstrosity. It didn't work! And it gets stuck!

"Don't lose that sword or I'll kill you!" she warns.

"You're not helping!"

Oh, crap! Literally, the shit-ton of crap is going to consume me! I give the sword a little bit of light and it breaks free. I manage to flee before it could cave me in. Damn, that was close.

"Gimme that!" She takes her sword from me.

"Lend it to me one more time. I'm going to kill it." Ugh! My head! It's aching!

"This sword takes too much power from a Frame user, you know."

"Then never mind letting me borrow it. It's all yours." We look at the Grog. It's ready for its next attack. "I'm out of ideas."

"Well, I have but one."
