"Something not good, my bro. Something not good." Zuriel had to repeat that twice as he sits up.
"Why?"
"They talked about sacrificing a little girl. Though I'm not sure who exactly."
"You mean. . . Maya?"
"Probably."
"That word again?"

"Never mind."
A few minutes later, we leave the domain and are now here in Letitia's shop. She is sitting on a chair, wiping her sweat. The pegasus and the cart are still outside.
"So," she says. "did you guys get what you needed to know?"
With a long, "Well. . .," Zuriel scratches his nose. "it was not much but uh. . . it's something you ought to know."
"What is it?"
"They talked about—" He stops as we spot Nisha and Helena passing through the playground and running towards here. "Oh, the girls are here."
They look quite troubled. "What's the matter?" I ask as they enter the shop.
