It was in the middle of the night when Letitia finished the weapons and armor she needed to get done for that day. Her shop was wide open and a thief could steal something from her shop and get away with it. She was there, sleeping with the anvil as her pillow.
But a helping hand came.
In the morning, she woke up on her bed, looking at the ceiling. It's like she almost forgot that she had a white ceiling like this because it's been a while since she was here. Also, it bothered her why the cobwebs are gone.
"Good morning!" Mary greeted as she neared the face of her baby to Letitia.
"What are you doing here?" she asked while sitting up and groaning. Her head was so dizzy that she could vomit on the spot.
"You passed out in the forge, you know."
With an unsatisfying yawn, Letitia said, "I didn't need your help." Then she scowled. "Get out."
