At the moment Zuriel opens his left eye, everything that he can see through the circle of his fingers disappears into oblivion. Whether it be light, air, or cloud. Everything. . . ceases to exist.

The King, the upper torso of his summon, as well as the top parts of the castle from the distance, all disappear. The hips and legs fall down catastrophically over the fields and slowly fade away. Even the stars that were in his vision, vanish in the night sky. But a moment later, they shine again.

They're already on the ground, gathering themselves up. Zuriel is wasted, and cannot move. Helena is sitting on the grass, looking at the part of the sky where the stars got snuffed out. She's wondering if she'll become as strong as her teacher. While Nisha, she has just arrived.

"Helena!" she says as she hugs her.
