Teasing

"Is it the only improvement?" I ask Letitia.

"On the handgun, yes. However, I did the most work on the new bullets."

"Wow! Lemme see."

She gives me a handful of bullets that look way more advanced than what I used to make. I load them into a magazine and aim at Zuriel.

"Not this time!" he laughs as he flies away.

*Bang*

I know that I'm gonna miss it because he's gonna dodge. But then the bullet's trajectory just bends and hits him on the back.

"What the hell?!" he exclaims as he crashes back to the lawn.

"'What the hell?' indeed," I mutter.

"It's a new bullet that will chase your target as long as you keep your eyes on them."

"Woah. . . That's like the laser-guided munitions in our world."

"Really?"

"Where do you even get these ideas from?"

"From my husband." She says it with such pride.

"Oh, that's no wonder. . ."
